A must if you love seafood, and especially if you're visiting San Diego. It showcases a lot of what…read moreSan Diego has to offer with its seafood, water views and outdoor patio seating to soak in the sun. It's located right along the marina where a lot of boats go out so expect the area to be crowded and touristy. But that being said, it's also a great spot to people watch and you can bring your dog. This is a pretty casual place so you place your order inside and your number will be called once your order is ready. I was impressed with how quickly it was ready considering the large amount of orders they had. The seafood: very good selection and fresh. This visit I tried the ceviche which honestly wasn't impressive. It had too much lemon or lime and had too much filler (onions & tomatoes) and too little fish. I expected an amazing ceviche packed with different seafood. But the chips were good. Next up was the ahi tuna sashimi, so delicious and melt in your mouth. Finally for the entree, the combo plate hit the spot with fish & chips, fried shrimp and crab cake. All tasted fresh and was darn good, just a lot of fried foods. But treat yourself, right?! To conclude, I would definitely recommend for seafood in a nice outdoor setting. Just know that parking can be difficult sometimes.

It has been over five years since we have eaten there. The last time we felt the experience was mediocre. Unfortunately, they have not improved. They have a great location and an upstairs balcony that overlooks the marina and downtown San Diego. The employees are friendly and our service time was acceptable. Between 3-6pm they have a Happy Hour on draft beers and some different food items. We had two Fish Sandwiches, some Onion Rings and two draft Beers. Thank goodness for the beers, because the rest of our food was barely edible. The Fish Sandwiches were two pieces of Sourdough bread, a small dollop of something like mayo or tartar sauce and two fried pieces of fish. We had to open them up to see if there was anything on them other than the fish because at first we could not see or taste anything. To eat them we put catsup and hot sauce on them. I have never not finished Onion Rings in my life, but this was a first. They were so over cooked and tasteless. Blah! If it wasn't for the cold draft beers this would be a one-star review. We will not be going back and it is a shame because of the great location.

Customer service was great, restaurant is clean and spacious. They offer indoor as well as outside patio dining. Seafood was fresh although it did lack in flavor! We ordered: Salmon and grilled shrimp tacos - busy taco with generous portions of seafood but, just lacking in flavor Fish n chips - loved the waffle fries it comes with, batter a bit too thick for my liking Grilled salmon plate with garlic butter sauce - nice portion of salmon strips on a bed of rice and served with a salad as well. Mini beer-battered shrimp tacos - batter a bit too thick which made the taco difficult to manage when eating Track taco - more toppings than shrimp itself Cheesy bread - delish Ceviche - delish once you add some salt to it. We shared it with 4 people but really, it's a single person serving. 3 cokes and a cocktail...all for approx. $140 Overall, great location for fresh seafood! My palette just needed A LOT MORE flavor! I definitely would be back to dine here if I was in the area.
