    a variety of food items

The only Polish store in the area! Food is decent and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly. They have great catering prices. Half a tray of pierogis only for 30$! The pierogis were a bit oily for my liking. I like mine pan fried and crispy. The store is small inside but has a lot of options.

    Potato pierogies with onions. Delicious

I passed by this place a few times and finally stopped in. It was late in the day so we bought the last of the cooked potato pierogies and the last 3 cheese blintzes and my daughter wanted some interesting looking polish candy from the bulk bin. The pierogies(is that even how it is spelled?) we're in oil, a lot of oil, and had some fried onions. They were absolutely the best I've ever had. I did drain the oil before we ate them but we both agreed that despite the oil, they were amazing. The cheese blintzes were also utterly delicious. I've never had a fresh one before, only frozen and now I'm completely ruined, I'll never eat another frozen blintz. Since I'm spoiled now, these are the only pierogies and blintzes that I ever want to eat and my kids are in agreement. You can tell that I was happy and definitely recommend the food, don't bother with the candy from the bulk bin and don't expect the person behind the counter to be friendly or make small talk but the food is worth 5 stars for sure!

    Potato and cheese perogie

Nice place to pick up a quick lunch. Perogies are pretty good. Wish they would include sour cream or apple sauce with. Had to buy separate.

Great authentic polish food for a great price of $10.50 plus $3 for the cheese blintz which had a subtle hint of lemon zest to it which I enjoyed very much so. Only complaint is that I wish the food was a bit warmer but otherwise amazing and filling

Lunch special: Pork cutlet (huge), broccoli, sauerkraut (with meat!)

Friendly staff, quick in/out (food bar) & outstanding value ($8.50 lunch special w/ large portions). Ordered the fried pork cutlet w/ broccoli & sauerkraut - delicious. Stuffed with 40% remaining for another meal.

    Kielbasa, stuffed cabbage and pierogies

This place is amazing and takes me back to all the food memories I had growing up, especially the kielbasa and poppy seed cake. Was in the area so stopped by for lunch and took it home. My husband loves the stuffed cabbage they have and the kielbasa and pierogies are my favorite. If you're looking for something different for lunch you have to check this place out. They potato pancakes they have are huge and so delicious.

Fried pork cutlet with double side of pierogies

I might have an unhealthy obsession with this place. Truly a hidden gem, I stopped in after spotting their sign. I figured I check it out for when I need homemade kielbasa and pierogies as my go to spot for them is Kapacki and sons in east meadow, which is a bit of a trek from my house. Upon going inside I discovered the steam table. I didn't realize they served hot food and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch specials are really are bargain. A lot of good food for a very reasonable price. Had the fresh kielbasa, smoked kielbasa, stuffed cabbage, fried pork cutlet, fried chicken cutlet, blintzes as well as various pierogies. All very good. Highly recommended. The market is also recommended for polish and other Eastern European food items

The food is so-so, I remember the beginning of this business, the portions were bigger, but nothing to complain, definitely the best place for home made bothid under $10

Polish Pork Store delicacies: golabki, sauteed onion & kielbasa, beet & herring salad, roast potato, smoked dry kielbasa, spicy kabanos
    Greg F.

Great store! The appetizing smell of kielbasa fills the air as soon as you walk in this place, which is amply stocked with all kinds of Polish foods, both hot and packaged. They were friendly, too, patiently explaining what all of the foods were and offering suggestions on what to order. Everything we took home was delicious and my family was so pleased. The prices were kind as well. We tried a wide variety of delicacies: heavenly mushroom and sauerkraut pierogies, cheese blintzes, excellent smoked dry kielbasa, spicy kabanos sausage, hearty golabki, delicious sauteed onion with kielbasa, an interesting and super tasty dish of chicken cutlet with cheese and mushrooms, beet and herring salad, and roast potatoes. To finish, we had a half loaf of decadent makowiec poppy seed cake, which is a must. Polish Pork Store is off the beaten path but worth making a trip for.

Always good food. It's hard to just choose from a few items when picking up food to go. Reminds me of being back in Poland.

They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serving up amazing meals at each. Choose from 5 different gravies and then your schnitzel. Traditionally served with pork or veal, but they do have chicken or eggplant as well! I went with the classic Weinershnitzel which is traditionally served with veal schnitzel and served with brown gravy. Lindsey got the Chicken Rahmschnitzel which is schnitzel topped with a creamy white reisling-infused mushroom gravy. Both were filled with flavor and we were very impressed! All schnitzel is served with spätzle, seasonal vegetables, and red cabbage. This was the definition of a comfort meal that. We started with their Bavarian Cheese Board, and classic German appetizers - potatoes pancakes paired with this insane apple butter, and potato dumplings with your choice of gravy. We loved the vibe in there. Great pub style feel but also nice indoor and outdoor eating. Our server Eden was amazing and such a great help! We truly loved this place and we can wait to go back! It's difficult to find Hungarian products in Northern New Jersey let alone at reasonable prices and at this quality level. I must add that their apricot jam has the right texture, no added sugar however the sweetness of the fruit remains. I love it. First of all, I have to mention the prices: we got 6 pastries and 2 hot chocolates for just over $40: a steal in this economy. Second, it was mostly authentic: the "francia krémes" (which they call a "Napoleon" here for some reason) was quite close to how they serve it in Hungary, save for the caramelized and sickeningly sugary top (which I skipped). The "dobos torta" had the reverse problem: its top--the eponymous "drum"--was authentic, but the meat of it far, far too chocolatey. Guys, a slice of "dobos" is NOT supposed to put you in a diabetic coma! It is not even meant to be very chocolatey! It is supposed to be much more subtle, even savory. The pastries we took home, which included several "rétesek," received high reviews as well. The servers were nice, but did not speak Hungarian. My only other critique would be that the space is incredibly cramped. You will be elbow-to-elbow with various Columbia students. My companion also told me the bathroom was filthy.
