Love this place. I've been shopping there for years and I can definitely recommend the cold smoked pork loin. You can't find that anywhere and it's delicious. I passed by this place a few times and finally stopped in. It was late in the day so we bought the last of the cooked potato pierogies and the last 3 cheese blintzes and my daughter wanted some interesting looking polish candy from the bulk bin. The pierogies(is that even how it is spelled?) we're in oil, a lot of oil, and had some fried onions. They were absolutely the best I've ever had. I did drain the oil before we ate them but we both agreed that despite the oil, they were amazing. The cheese blintzes were also utterly delicious. I've never had a fresh one before, only frozen and now I'm completely ruined, I'll never eat another frozen blintz. Since I'm spoiled now, these are the only pierogies and blintzes that I ever want to eat and my kids are in agreement. You can tell that I was happy and definitely recommend the food, don't bother with the candy from the bulk bin and don't expect the person behind the counter to be friendly or make small talk but the food is worth 5 stars for sure! read more

This is a polish supermarket with a deli. I tried the pork chops, cheese blintz and pierogi both the cheese one and the sauerkraut one. The chops were so soft and just tore apart. The spice rub was pretty flavorful. Loved it. The cheese blintz was stuffed with cheese and it stuffed me up too. The pierogi shell was more rubbery than I expected. I figured I check it out for when I need homemade kielbasa and pierogies as my go to spot for them is Kapacki and sons in east meadow, which is a bit of a trek from my house. Upon going inside I discovered the steam table. I didn't realize they served hot food and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch specials are really are bargain. On the recommendation of a Croatian/American friend, I stopped at the Polish Pork Store. It's the northern most store in a strip shopping center on the west side of Commack Road. It was after 4 PM, and they still had the fried pork, and chicken cutlets. Unfortunately the fish was gone, and the pierogis were limited. The sauerkraut with kielbasa was available. The portions are huge. Smaller eaters can share a lunch.. Everything was delicious. Don't know how they can only charge $8,99, and still make a profit. Don't let this strip mall polish store fool you, it's great! I was greeted right away when I walked in the door. To the right of the entrance they have a good selection of hot foods you can choose from. Stuffed cabbage, pierogis with onions, cheese blintzes, potato pancakes, fried chicken, fish and pork, mashed potato, stew and more. The girl who helped me was very friendly and made for a lovely shopping experience. They make the pierogis homemade and freeze them. Flavors were: cheese, potato, potato & cheese, mushroom & sauerkraut and spinach and cheese. They go for 70 cents a piece and you can get whatever amount you want. I got 12 potato and 6 mushroom and sauerkraut. Grabbed myself a bag of sauerkraut from the fridge, got a little less than 2lbs of smoked kielbasa, 1/4lb of headcheese, a breaded pork cutlet and 2 cheese blintzes for $36. Easily feed a family of 4 great deal. The food was great, a very solid polish joint for sausages and more. The kielbasa was very smokey and it wasn't very fatty. Loved the mushroom and sauerkraut pierogis. They also sell cookies, candies and other polish supermarket finds. Breads and donuts as well (jelly, cream and farmers cheese filled). Also sausages, franks, bacons, cold cuts. Try the Hetman pickles. They are awesome. Very friendly folks and happy to give samples. Still kind of getting set up, so can only see the place improving. Hot food section sets them apart from others. Had the homemade perogies today (potato and sauerkraut/mushroom) and they were the best I have ever had (sorry Mom). Prices are also very reasonable. I'm nostalgic for the old European deli and meat stores that carry the smoked meats and dinners I grew up on that my grandma and mom used to painstakingly make. The store front is low key but they have quite the selection inside. Polish, Hungarian, German and Croatian foods are the basics here. Okay, I'll admit it. I didn't get out of the parking lot before I started eating my 7 dollar lunch special of two nice kielbasa with a side of potato cheese pierogis. The kielbasa has a great smoky taste with cross hatched scores on both sides that give it a great texture. Comes with some excellent sautéed onions. I usually brown the pierogis a little more than they do, but they're so good I gobbled them up. I'll definitely be back. They also have what looks like a great selection of various types of meat and sausages along with Polish grocery items I've never seen before. The owners also own a cleaning service so that is how I know them. I knew it took them forever to open due to all the county red tape. When they finally opened, my wife and I went to their grand opening. It was good but we live kinda far. My friend lives in East Northport so I told him about it. I saw him a few weeks later and he thanked me for telling him about the place. He has eaten there several times already and told me he loved it. A few months ago I visited again when I decided to do takeout for my family. When we arrived, Tomasz, looking exhausted, told us that he got wiped out- everything sold out. But then he did the most amazing thing, he asked us what we wanted and went in the back and started cooking. We got pierogis, hunters stew, kielbasa, amongst other things. Absolutely delicious!
