I have been going to the polished bar since they opened years ago. Mary is the BEST NAIL TECH! Very detailed, kind and not pushy at all. She always does a great job. I've actually had a great experience with all of the nail artists and the owner/manager is very attentive and hands on as well. There was an instance I went out to my car and messed up my pedicure, I went back inside and asked for the polish to touch up myself but they took great care of me and fixed it on the spot, no questions asked! This was the first time I had been to this nail salon. I had made appointments for myself and for a friend. My appointment was for a full set and pedi, while hers was for a regular mani/pedi and a brow wax. This salon has the most non-gel and gel selection I have seen in quite some time. The color range is amazing, and they even have chrome colors. I went with three different gel colors for my nails and a OPI pink for my pedi. I love how my nails came out! They look amazing. Cindy took a lot of time shaping and filing and they look great. My friends mani and pedi also came out great! Ask, her eyebrow shaping was amazing. They serve complimentary drinks and have varying levels of pedicures depending on what your needs may be. If you are looking for a place that is local and do a great job, this is the place for you. I have a hard time finding and recommending a place, but this one I would. My only complaint was the wait time. I probably only had 5 pedicures my whole life and the last time I got fake nails I was 18 years old. I go to a specific salon, but I found Polished Bar on ClassPass and decided to go for it in between my vacation nails. I was pleasantly surprised. They were packed on Wednesday at 3pm. I got a gel mani and regular pedi, both really well done. I'm on week 3 and think they'll last up to 4 weeks! The only note I have is how slippery the floor is! This is long overdue as I've been coming here for about two months. Amazing nail shop and I am now a loyal customer. I've been going to Mia for the last few times but May also does excellent work too. Mia is such a perfectionist which I love. She perfects the shape of my nails and she is so detailed with my designs. I usually get some type of bling on several of my nails. Let me tell you, not once has a stone fallen off! Nor does the gel fade or chip! I can go three weeks or longer and still get compliments on my nails. It is pricey but the cheap comes out expensive. What is the point of making an appointment here?!!! Made an appointment for dip and a pedicure at 3:00. They started my nails at 3:47. Nails were finished then had to wait until after 5:10 for them To start my pedicure. I would have left but I was leaving on vacation. There were sooo many unhappy customers who had appointments. They kept apologizing saying they were so busy. I understand it is a Saturday and Covid was challenging so I tried to be patient. Maybe if they had designated technicians for walk ins and designated technicians for appointments things would run more smoothly. The staff was very friendly and tried hard to do a good job. My sister and I went to polished bar for pedicures and literally both ended up with infections, which has made us both question the cleanliness of the tools used at polished bar. Overall service here is perfectly fine, and all of the nails techs working there are nice, but having to worry about infections when you're paying a premium price for this service is off putting. I went in the other day because my toddler son had a ingrown nail in his toe and eve to one there was just the sweetest and warmest of welcoming and trying to complete the job the lady was able to get most of it out and she was so calm And sweet ! If I could leave zero stars I would. I just left this place and I have never been treated with so much attitude because I didn't want gel. The lady then threw a tantrum and made me get up without helping move any of the stuff to pick a color barefoot from the wall after she had already cleaned my feet. They then proceeded to clearly talk poorly about me while I sat there. Never again. It was also $72 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure with nothing special. I wouldn't go back. I've been few times and it gets worse each time. I asked the lady to buff thinner multiple times and has to ask her to even out the acrylic a few times because she wanted to just leave it. I asked her nicely each time, not to be rude. But she never asked if it was okay. Only for length and after she was just gonna start painting it, and I had to stop her to thin some nails and even some nails out. She didn't clean my cuticles or push back my cuticles, and was rushy. She was with me for an hour and the owner walked by and did his walk and told her to take the next customer (I assume before he pointed to the girl in front of me, and she looked over at the girl who was waiting). The nails are bulky, bumpy, edges aren't clean. I asked her few times to clean it up, but I knew she didn't care. I paid $50 for these and I tipped her, but yea... i think they try to be great with drinks each time I get there, champagne and sodas, but they just have mediocre skilled technicians. read more

I walked out once after making an appointment to get my nails and toes done and an hour after they finished my nails they wanted to do my pedicure! Not acceptable! Updated review: I came here recently and maybe it was just an off day but I wasn't that satisfied. The owner immediately contacted me, went above and beyond to make sure I had the nails i wanted when I walked out. I am floored by their customer service, how kind some of the artists are, and genuinely the owners interest in her customers happiness. I will def be coming back and sending all of my friends and co workers there. Wow seriously. Came today 2/7/20 and was severely disappointed again. I gave them an hour for a pedicure and if they were taking their sweet time because they were doing a good job, I wouldn't have minded. The girl who was doing my nails did the worst "massage." She kept stopping , chatting with her friends, staring off into space, and hardly touched me. Her parafin wax never even touched the souls of my feet... it was so underwhelming. Form start to finish. I just finished and touched the bottom of my feet. It hasn't even been 5 minutes and the sound of my feet are rough after a supposed callous treatment. Really upset yet again. I got my acrylics done here, a fresh set and two of my nails fell of in the first 3 days of having them on. I have never had my acrylics fall of even when i'm my 6th refill and this is a fresh set. I understand maybe one acrylic with added pressure, but for two to fall off when i was just getting the excess acrylic out from under by nails is absurd. I wish I had a better overall experience here. After all the great and highly rated reviews on Yelp, I definitely had higher expectations. I had an appointment and was seen pretty quickly. The workers seemed to be staring and whispering at me for some odd reason - I definitely felt uncomfortable and a bit weird. The lady who did my nails, I wish I remembered her name, but she seemed to be doing a pretty good job. She even seemed like the go-to person in the salon because all of the workers were asking her questions when they didn't know what to say to the person they were working on. When I was done, the manicurist seemed to rush me to move out of my seat so she could rush the next person in the chair - I eventually realized that she knew the next person and wanted to hurry and work on her nails. RUDE. I get it, you need to work on as many people to make money, but its also one of the reasons they just lost a customer. By the time I got home I inspected my nails, like I normally do, the ends were crooked on each nail. By day 2, the top coat (clear gel) was peeling off - this is why I HATE when manicurists put gel on top of dipping powder... I also realized that the manicurist didn't completely remove the previous dipping powder on my nails so you could see a dark purple underneath my current dipping powder. Then to top it off, only a week and a half later, the dipping powder starting lifting from my nails! One of the main reasons I switched to dipping powder is because it sticks to your nails and doesn't lift. I have never experienced this before. I figured that I went to a place that cost me $45 for a manicure, they'd last longer or stay decent looking after a few weeks. I've honestly had better experiences at places that have costed me much less. I guess it's time to find yet ANOTHER nail salon.... read more

I've come here a few times in the last year and haven't always been happy with my gel or my dip powder but it's close and convenient so I haven't taken the time to find a new place. I won't be returning after my last visit. I asked for dip powder and the gentleman that helped me, Tuan, did not do a good job and even asked me at the end of my appointment what I would do if he told me he didn't like my nails and wanted to remove them and start all over. I was on my lunch break and that was not a possibility. Several nails chipped a day later and I had to file them down to get them down myself so they would look presentable. He cut my fingers in two places while using the drill machine. I would have stayed to have them redone, but my experience with the nail tech was uncomfortable. He was very conversational and shared very personal details about his life and marriage and women that were interested in him. He also bizarrely offered for me to drink directly from his own coffee when I first sat down with him. Overall, it was a poor manicure, and it was an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. I did also receive a gel pedicure from a nail tech named Kim, and she was very nice and my toes look lovely. read more

I really enjoy coming here when I'm able to. It's relatively easy to make a same-day appointment. I've never had a bad manicure here before and I've been coming here on and off for months. Their pricing is reasonable as well. I did have one poor experience with a pedicure though. There was a gentleman there that seemed sort of new and he was sweet but his paint job was kind of sloppy. That being said he did give me a great foot massage and scrubbed all of the calluses off of my feet unlike any other nail tech ever has, so shoutout to him. I did tell the manager I was not happy with the pedicure and he agreed with me and had a different tech repaint them for me.
