I came in as a walk-in for a Pedi and Jay Jay kindly told me she was waiting on her appointment to show but if she didn't arrive in 15 minutes she will take care of me. The girl was a no show! If I could give zero stars I would, I made an appointment for 12pm today, I thought I would give this place a try seeing it's around the corner from my house. When I walked up to the store a rude woman came to the door and said yes, I said I'm here for my 12pm appointment, she tells me go wash your hands, which I do, then she says pick out your color, I go to reach for a color, and she literally slaps my hand away and tells me "don't touch" it was really off putting, I told her I would go somewhere else. Luckily French 4 you up the street was able to accommodate me, and they did a lovely job, I highly recommend them. They also massage your hands/feet during the manicure/pedicure so your money is worth the time you spend there. The massage chair during a pedicure is a plus. I came in for a mani-pedi at about 6:30pm on a weekday. The girl who took me did an excellent job and I enjoyed my relaxing massage and conversation. The nail tech was Maja or Maha, she's the one with the eyelash extensions on, short, I think middle eastern. Aside from excellent service, the reason even more so why I am so happy with my service is because by the time I left there it was 7:30/7:45pm. They close at 7pm. At no point during my service did the tech rush or make me feel like I needed to leave. Instead she stayed late with another woman that was there. For me, it's not just about the service, but also how customers are treated. She was smart and made thought provoking conversations and made me truly relax my mind. Never again will I step foot inside or recommend this nail salon to anyone. The owner JJ claims to be child friendly yet they just ruined my daughters birthday surprise with her godmother and refused to let her have the little pedicure experience because she was a few minutes late to the appointment. I've waited for my own appointments there yet they can refuse full service to a child for her birthday right in front of her and make her feel bad. The water experience takes about an additional 5 mins, this was just heartless. No excuse to treat a 5yr old this way. On top of it their air conditioning is broken and it's extremely humid outside. Only trust jj with my no chip. She knows how to take it off properly with out thinning your nail which I've experienced at other places.
