This is the shop that my mother is a regular at, so of course I had to give an updated review due to the controversy among states on Tik Tok talking about Chicago brows give angry bird because they certainly do not. Especially not on me love. Anyway, immediate service as soon as we entered. I received a brow wax, and tint for $26 which I thought was reasonable considering it lasts for about a month. Ive only gotten my brows done here once where I got black, but this time I wanted a lighter color for the spring, and to match my voluminous brown hair of course. Kyi... I went yesterday 03/11/26 to get a fill and a pedicure. The man older guy wearing a skull cap did my feet. Rough he kept squirmy big toe which was already hurting then he kept pushing my feet down. I wasn't moving my foot at all. I didn't say a word. When someone came through the door or Boos man was talking he looking over there then started filing my skin on another toe because he's being nosey. It was a lady next to use older she started on a custom that had just came in he started talking to her in their language next thing I know she is sitting in front of me polishing my toes. WTF... She did two toes and he took over. Now, I started watching him because normally I let whomever do their job not watching everything. His hands were shaking so bad,he wiped access polish from around my toe not once,twice multiple times. Due to him shaking (hands). Then the lady that did my nails. Didn't put the acrylic all the way on the side of some nails. Cuticles flooded with polish. A freaking mess. 2022 they had a lot of people working and knew what they were doing. There's a lot to unpack here. I went to get a mani pedi no chip mani. They do not take appointments but I was already there cause I live close by so I waited half an hour. This nail salon is very big and very busy from what it seems. Sooo as soon as I get there, a fist fight starts between the tech and a client. Wild. I get the mani first I can't remember what he said about why. Lots of cute mood nail polish which is what I came for. Though I'm upset right now cause it's already chipping and it's been 3 days. The pedi wasn't super relaxing and they switched techs on me in the middle of it. Toes look cute though. It cost 59 before tip. Cash tip only * Honestly it wasn't worth the price. Maybe don't go. ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL. My mother went here to get a pedicure. She is a singer (52) and had a show so she wanted to get her toes done, but one of the employees spoke to her and from what my mother could understand from the employee's english, she was going to do her eyebrows, and then asked if she would want to do lash extensions. my mother who never spends money on experiences or luxuries for herself decided to say yes. the woman taped her eyelid up, and proceeded to apply the eyelash extensions. Then they sent her home without the pedicure she originally went here for. I just visited her (i am 21) and immediately asked where she had had her eyelashes done. she told me she had no idea they were going to look this bad, and she couldn't get them off. she had no previous experience of getting actual professional lash extensions, and therefore didn't know what good lash extensions should look like. i do. these lashes were absurd. half the length of the lashes was pure glue, the glue was stuck to the entirety of the skin on her lash line. i immediately went to get lash adhesive remover, and tried to remove the lashes. this remover has worked every time i have ever removed my actual professional lash extensions, but because i don't know what glue the "lash tech" used, and there was so much of it, it was doing absolutely nothing. we let it sit for 10 minutes and still nothing. she was in extreme discomfort and just wanted them off. i did some extensive google searching and we decided to try olive oil, which after an hour of massaging the olive oil into her eyelids and picking and pulling at the extensions, we were finally able to take these monstrosities off of her eyes. i have attached images of what some of the pieces of the extensions looked like once we had gotten them off. because the glue was so strong and thick it tore out many of her natural eyelashes. The worst part of this is that she blamed herself for being vain and accepting the offer. This facility should not offer a service they have absolutely no business doing. i have literally never written a review about any business good or bad, but my poor mother should never have had to go through this and i will not sit by and stay silent about it. DO NOT COME HERE FOR EYELASHES. The staff butchered my mother's eyelashes and her lash line because they do not know how to properly apply extensions and the level of unprofessional treatment is negligent if not criminal. i genuinely hope nobody else ever pays these people for eyelash extensions or anything honestly. Educate your staff or don't offer the service. read more

I came with my service dog and I was told the wait would be an hour. I said okay I will wait outside. The wait ended up being an hour and 45 minutes. Which I was okay with because I heard that this place did great nails. I brought my service dog in cuz I was feeling a little weak, they had an issue with it. It took five customers to convince them that I needed my dog and they couldn't do that. So that started us off on the wrong foot. I was getting a new set and a pedicure. When I explained that I wanted long nails and ask questions about the different types of application such as gel ombre acrylic the difference in nail polish and what not they seem like that was an issue and I should have known prior to coming in. Because there was a translation issue that also pissed off the guy doing my nails. I told him I didn't like the nail paint job that he was doing and that set him off on a tangent and his language to which someone else came and finished my nails. When I went to get a pedicure everything was okay but it felt rushed. I realized it was almost closing time. I did not like my new set the paint looked clumpy and it looked like an amateur did it. I don't know what everyone is raving about. I definitely won't be coming back. Last, I didn't have enough money in my wallet and so when I told them I need to get some money from my husband in the car they acted as if I was going to run and not pay. They told me that I had 2 minutes or they would call the police. I told him he can hold my wallet. The guy stood up and watched me out the window and I walked. I went in the morning on a Tuesday. I stepped in and immediately serviced with a $58 dollar pedicure. It was worth spending on myself. The bubbling warm water. hot stones, scrapping away the callouses and dead skin from my feet, deep message of my legs and feet, removal of cuticles and the skin growth under my nails, sinking and tied my feet in warm paraffin, and I wish I got the name of the fruit punch smelling lotion on my feet and legs. Plus, while my feet and legs were getting done, I had the luxury of a full back message in their thick and comfortable chairs. I've been going here since it opened and because it's close and convenient. The staff are usually cool and friendly except when it might be a busy day and I totally get it. I usually get my eyebrows and lashes done by mia but won't forget to mention Bella and Amy are also good. I haven't been disappointed at all. UT did my nails and let me just say....the 50 min drive there is WELL WORTH IT!!!! I'm 35, been getting my nails done since I was 16 and this was the best full set I have EVER had! The pedicure is in my top 5. Not the best I've ever had but still worth the price! See you guys Monday!!!! read more
