I was extremely satisfied with my experience at this shop! At first, I was nervous. Someone recommended this location to me; I am a woman; I JUST know how to drive a car. Once I walked in, every level of nervousness in my body decreased. All of the men that work there are professional and well mannered. Angelo; immediately greeted me and remembered that I had spoken to him on the phone about the issue. He helped me with an electrical problem involving my headlights! He called me over and explained all of the steps needed to fix the problem. I am truly grateful that he did because I felt valued and appreciated. Even though my mechanical and electrical knowledge on cars is minimal, I am always looking to learn. He did not treat me differently because I am a woman; which I loved! I recently brought my 2004 Toyota here to fix an electrical problem which I thought I would never be able to get fixed. I had heard of Hipolito and his shop before since he is practically a Hunts Point institution at this point (been there for at least 30 years) and is THE MAN to go to in Hunts Point for electrical car problems. I definitely did not regret my decision. He fixed the problem and by the next business day called me to pick up my car. His rate for completing the job was extremely competitive and my car problem was fixed. Hipolito and his staff did not disappoint and I would recommend them to any one having electrical car problems. I just had my car fixed at Hipolito; I had dashboard indicators that weren't working, and my hazard lights weren't working either. I was afraid that the estimate to fix all that would be more than the car was worth. But when the job was done, the price was extremely reasonable, and now I have things working in my car that haven't worked in so long, I forgot they ever did work. My dashboard indicators work properly; I get a tone when my lights are left on, the hazard lights work, the power outlet that had never worked since I bought the car a year ago now works...I am extremely happy, and as I said, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely go back for any electrical problems that might pop up in the future, whether in this car or my next one. read more
