This deal is to encourage you to order on the mobile app or online at PandaExpress.com If you're unable to place your order online an employee from Panda Express should help you. When you place your order online you select a time to come pick it up. They will take your name on the order and the model of your car you arrived in, and bring out your food when it is finished being made in the kitchen. My favorite thing to get is a bowl of fried rice and sweet fire chicken breast. When this COVID-19 pandemic dials down and things go back to normal we will be able to open our door and give you lovely customers samples again! Thank you for being patient with your Essential Workers.

I ordered the Big plate so I would have leftovers for my lunch-I started with the Chow Mein, the employee said he would have more coming up, as the one in the bowl had more cabbage than noodles. I said that was fine by me, I love cabbage. Then I got the mushroom chicken, which is one of my favorites and orange chicken since they had just put out a fresh batch. My last option I ordered the teriyaki chicken(my dog's favorite) so I could share with him at home. I also ordered the crab Rangoon which is another favorite. The restaurant was overall clean and the employees were friendly. Panda has become one of my favorite restaurants as of lately. Download the app so you can earn points, I also use it to order online when I just want to pickup and go.

I'm a big fan of this restaurant, so I was excited to see if there were any differences in the service or atmosphere since this was my first time visiting a location in another state. As soon as I looked at the menu, I knew exactly what I wanted. They had these new campfire meals that looked so good! I wanted the one with the beef, carrots, potatoes, and corn. When our server came over, I tried to place my order, but she asked if it was 11:00 a.m. yet. Her response caught me off guard because I honestly didn't know what time it was. I checked my phone and saw it was only 10:40. She then asked what I'd like instead, so I told her I needed another minute to look over the menu. I understand the campfire meals weren't available until 11:00, but I feel like the situation could have been handled a little more warmly. It made the interaction feel a bit awkward, and for a moment I considered waiting the extra 20 minutes because I had my heart set on trying one of the new menu items. Since it was my dad's birthday, though, I didn't want to hold everyone up, so I ordered the Momma's French Toast Breakfast with eggs and bacon instead. The food was good, and overall I had a pleasant visit. As always, the gift shop was full of cute items, although I didn't end up buying anything this time. My only real complaint was the service. I always appreciate friendly, welcoming customer service, and this visit just felt a little lacking in that department.

It helps that it is just a couple blocks away from work, it's easy to get a consensus among co-workers as a place to go for lunch, and it has had good and consistent food that comes out pretty speedy. I know that the menu is filled with diverse items, but I keep gravitating to the same lunch item over and over -- 1 taco, 1 burrito, and refried beans. It's not an exciting lunch, but it's remarkably affordable (~$6!) and it is very filling. El Centenario also plys you with heaping baskets of tortilla chips and salsa. My recommendation -- request the salsa picante. It's a spicy ranchera-style sauce, it has a rather spicy pepper bite, but I've gotten to the point that I will eat chips with it spooned over the top, while one of my coworkers mixes some of the spicy salsa into her bowl of regular salsa. I won't say that El Centenario is the most authentic Mexican restaurant, but it does fit solidly into the current concepts for TexMex / Mexican that is run and staffed by Latin-Americans. Considering some of the other "Mexican" food in Topeka, it's about as authentic as you are going to get without heading over to the taquerias on the east side.
