I had a bad experience I bought a whole chicken. The seasoning is still there, but their beans had a bay leaf in them so I had to fish out the big Bay Leaf out from the charro beans. Another thing that they gave me two green salsa and they were already sour their service has dropped since five years ago. I'm not sure if they keep changing Staff but when it comes to making the beans or the rice, it always has a different taste to it. They're not being consistent. read more

Parking: I think it took over what appears to be an old Wendy's location - so there is free parking all around the building. Interior: Fairly clean with a hole-in-the-hole vibe. Service: You order the food up front and they bring the food to you. However, you are expected to clean up after yourself and put your trash away afterwards since there is no waitstaff. Food: This place is known for their wood-fired rotisserie chicken and it's definitely worth it - moist and flavorful throughout. Also ordered tacos - chicken, barbacoa, and carne asada. Carne asada was my favorite. The barbacoa was greasy and oily. The chicken was okay. The free side of roasted onions, roasted jalapeño, charro beans, and rice paired well with the meal. The best part was the salsa bar! They offer cilantro, fresh onions, pico de gallo, pickled onions, limes, and 7 different types of salsa. Yum! I Ordered a full chicken and it came with rice and beans and 2 small packs of tortillas and red and green salsa. My first time trying this place and I gotta say I was amazed by the food. The chicken nice and juicy! Full of seasoning also the rice and beans were delicious and full of flavor. The service was also great no complaints there. This has become our go to place for rotisserie chicken and ribs! You can watch the chicken spinning and flames kissing them as the chicken renders giving everything cooking such a wonderful flavor. As for the ribs, same method of cooking and so delicious that we no longer go to a BBQ joint for our ribs. Everything comes with grilled onions, a roasted serrano pepper and charro beans and rice. Stumbled upon this restaurant to satisfy my taco craving and wow, this place definitely did its job. My husband and I ordered three plates: flauta plate (5 flautas) opcion personal (personal chicken plate- 3 pieces of chicken), and a taco plate (5 tacos). Each plate came with sides. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. We had some leftovers that were great to enjoy at home. My favorite was their pastor taco. When we go back, we're planning on getting a lot of pastor tacos and maybe try out a new plate. read more

This is true wood fired chicken at it's finest (cooked inside just behind the counter). I was introduced to this place by a co-worker who bought my lunch here a few weeks ago. I had to go back again for the chicken plate with beans and rice. Chicken was served over a bed of roasted sweet onions with a roasted pepper that will set you on fire. Side salsas and pico were all fresh and very tasty. I didn't want to eat all of my lunch so I could save some for a snack at home. The only thing I miss that's not available here is iced tea. Chicken was great but the service was underwhelming and left a bad taste. We were there for pickup and they wouldn't let us pick which salsas we wanted to-go. Ended up charging us $1.25 extra for the ones we wanted. Its silly - you just lost a paying customer for 5c of salsas. Just let customers pick the ones they want or give them a couple of empty ones to help themselves. I am willing to move up the stars if management listens to feedback read more

First place in TX that deserves 5 stars (I've tried around 25 "mexican" places, around the State). The price is pretty decent. This review is for the Garland location. For the location in Arlington, they deserve 3.5 stars, there is some room for improvement. I went back to this place in Garland (yesterday Feb. 04, 2020), they charged me 2.50 for a Water Cup, plain water cup; when complained, I was told that they must charge for it, since it was filtered water. read more
