Horrible customer service. Been coming here for years and showed support during the COVID times when they had guest eating outside. I remember talking to servers saying they may close. You'd think they'd treat their paying customers better but nope. Came in for an Apple crisp pie, the young lady helping me seemed a little slow but that's ok, she said they were out so I ordered a regular apple pie and a cold brew. They were steady not extremely busy but were still kind of struggling and while I stood there, waiting, another customer came in and ordered a Apple crisp, the short bald Hispanic manager went to the back and brought out one for the customer so of course I wanted one too since hello that's what I originally asked for, the manager gave me attitude saying they just came out, look, I don't care if a pie fairy just popped it out of her behind, the young lady knew what I initially wanted and in that moment could have been like oh ok yeah we do have it, why she didn't bother to go look in the back to begin with is beyond me. Anyway it ended up working out for me because a got a warm Apple crisp pie 50 percent off since I had already paid for the pre boxed apple pie which I'm thinking were on sale since they were made who knows when for Thanksgiving. Polly's never disappoints. You are always welcomed by friendly staff. Seated quickly and sipping on their awesome mango ice tea. Food is delicious although seems like the portions have gotten smaller. I got their 1/4 Polly's tuna and salad. Sandwich 1/4 (half) was tiny. Could have eaten 3 of them. Oh well. I've been to Polly's several times, but just to order/purchase pies for the holidays. We had to wait 10 minutes for a booth to open up for seating which we didn't mind. The restaurant looked clean and the staff were very attentive. This was my first time eating here and we ordered from the breakfast menu. The Turkey sausage, crispy bacon were delicious. My mom and I split the pancake breakfast and it was definitely enough for two people. If I'm ever in the Norco area again I would definitely come back here for breakfast. read more

I love coming to this Polly Pies location because the quality of their food and friendly staff make it a nice dining experience. There is another Polly Pies location on OC that has a different vibe which is the reason why I tend to go to this Norco location. I love how their pies are baked fresh daily in the morning and there is a wide selection to choose from. I used to make the mistake of coming here early in the morning and I had to wait up to 60 minutes to get a table. Today I came a little bit after lunch and there was not much of a wait. Our server Selena was pretty good. She recommended a few different types of pies to choose from and recommended some of their new holiday menu items.I ordered the country fried steak with potatoes and eggs today and it was delicious. Are there are two QR codes that you can scan on the menu. Unfortunately the dessert menu had fewer pie options so we opted for the banberry pie instead. It was very tasty with a nice creamy banana custard and fresh strawberries on top. Overall dining experience was very good. One less star because we notice upon leaving the restaurant that there were other flavors of pie that we could have ordered from. There were flavors such as pumpkin Maple crust pie, sunnylicious (cream cheese pie with a lemon mixture), chocolate cream, and chocolate silk pie. I'd like to start off by saying it's thanksgiving, and I understand the importance of people's time especially on holidays. I called in asking if there were still pies available at 1:51 PM. The lady (I'm assuming the manager) told me they did, and that I should get there "quickly" because they were "closing soon". I asked what time they closed, and she stated they actually closed at 1 but "they decided to stay open a little longer, so to get here quickly." I was grateful for this gesture so I rushed out the door immediately. I told her I would be there in 10 min but I arrived in 15 due to unforeseen traffic. When I ran to the door, it was locked and they told me was closed lol. 1. Next time, just give a direct time for when you're closing and don't waste people's time. I literally ran out of my house after hung up the phone just so I can get a pie on thanksgiving. 2. Change your Yelp time. I saw 2 more families try to walk in after me. You're a well established enough company to change your holiday schedule on Yelp. 3. I understand I was 5 min late, but respect other people's time as much as you would like your time respected. I'm currently eating at Polly's Pies in Norco. I really love Polly's Pies. It's like a Marie Calendar's. It's like going to grandma's house to eat delicious comfort food in a homey interior. The Norco Polly's is super cute. This visit is a disaster. My service is so bad that I stopped eating my meal to start writing this review. The server, Danielle, is terrible!!! She has a bad attitude, no server-sense, doesn't listen, and is completely inattentive! She brought pitchers to refill my drink cups. I asked her for a cup of ice because there was hardly any ice in the pitchers, it was all melted down so there was barely any. She said, "There's ice in there. Do you want more ice?" What's odd, is that Instead of just refilling my cups from the pitchers, and then bringing a cup or two of ice as requested, she took the pitchers away without refilling them. Instead of coming back with an ice water and an iced-tea, Danielle returned with one partially filled cup of iced-tea. She never brought the cup of ice that I initially requested. After dropping my food, she never returned to see how it was. She did finally make an appearance when I was finished eating. The turkey dinner was supposed to receive cranberry sauce, it was missing. The chicken pot pie meal did receive its cranberry sauce. I asked her about the missing sauce. She said, "That one has it! (meaning the chicken pot pie dinner) I could have put more. I mean I could of put more. I can bring more if you want to eat it with your dinner." (I thought to myself... the dinner includes cranberry sauce so why wouldn't you serve it? Also, why wouldn't you just say, I'm sorry. I forgot it. Let me go get it and I'll be right back? The same thing with the ice.) To finish my meal, she brought a couple of boxes and dropped the check. She never asked if I was finished or wanted anything else. No thank you or thanks for coming-in. Danielle forgot that the Chicken Pot Pie meal included a slice of pie, and forgot that I wanted to order a meal to-go (which I told her when I initially ordered.) She wasn't busy so I don't understand her irritated attitude or her inattentiveness. After sitting, waiting a long while for Danielle to come to my table, I finally had to get the help of another employee. A lovely lady with red hair pulled back into a ponytail and wearing glasses. She was so nice and helpful. She took my to-go order, brought boxes, and informed Danielle about my missing pie. Danielle appeared with my drink refills and a pie menu. Then, she brought another check that charged me for the pie slice but didn't charge me for the to-go meal. If I were dishonest, I could have just paid for the pie slice and not mentioned the Salisbury Steak. But God is always watching and I always want to do the right thing. Once more, I had to get the nice lady, whose name is Carol, to help me. She got the check corrected. Another person brought out the to-go meal. What should have been an enjoyable 50 minute dining experience, turned into an hour and forty-five minutes of mistakes from an inattentive, forgetful, and uncaring server with an irritated attitude. I understand that we all have problems. We all make mistakes. One, or two mistakes I can overlook. But many mistakes with a bad attitude is NOT ok! If you're trying to get off the clock, and want to do your side-work instead of taking care of your guests, then ask a co-worker to help you or transfer the table to a server who is actually on the floor. Danielle ruined my meal by not listening, not paying attention, not being friendly, not caring about the experience that my hard-earned money was buying, and wasting my time. Where was the manager? Why didn't the manager visit the dining room to check on tables?? I'm sure glad Carol was there to help me. Otherwise, I'd probably still be sitting here. Make Carol a server! She has a sense of helpfulness and awareness, and most importantly, she's friendly and caring. read more

The food is always great! We always get the fresh peach pie every August. We went to the Corona store, but they didn't have any peach pie left. So I wrote the company. They were generous about giving me a coupon for a pie. I went to the Hemet one and got my pie! They had at least 5 in the case. So call first. We don't luve close to either one, but worth the drive. I was disappointed at the corona store for not having any at 3-4 pm in the afternoon. But Pollys made it right! Just call first to make sure instead of driving so far! read more

I've always loved coming here any time of the day to eat. I had a birthday reward to use and thought this was the perfect time to go. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I will say it looked really pitiful in the container. They could have given more vegetables then this. The chicken dinner also said it came with a spicy honey butter, which I was excited about but asked for it on the side just in case. So imagine my disappointment when I made it home with no spicy honey butter for my chicken. I also wished I would have known that the chicken would be placed on top of the potatoes. The meal as a whole was good. Still wish I had the spicy honey butter though. I did get my food to go, but the restaurant was pretty quiet and the hostess that helped me was very sweet. This place is in the cut, and you probably wouldn't even know it was there, if weren't for the tall sign, that you can see from the freeway. I stopped in to get my free pie slice and coffee! They had a few pie choices on display in the case, and some other ones on a pie rack behind the display case. I tried the strawberry banana pie.....which was "OK" tasting. I came here once before a few months ago to try a Pie, it was Strawberry/ Banana which was absolutely delicious, so I decided to come get a pie for Father's Day , I got Banana cream pie , I was so disappointed , it was just blah , no flavor at all , almost as if it was old or not even flavored , I had a slice and ended up throwing the whole pie away , it really wasn't worth eating , not to mention it was $17 and change . After church, we visited Polly's Bakery with our family. One of our children has autism, and it's important for us to be seated in a quieter, less central area. We kindly explained this to the manager and requested a different table, but our request was denied. Unfortunately, we had to leave as this made it challenging for us to enjoy our visit. I decided to eat here before 4th of July holiday so I made my weekly visit today, was just here last week Wednesday. I'm a creature of habit and always order the same thing at each visit with a strawberry lemonade to drink. My 4 children also order the same drink, been coming here once a week for the last 2 years with the family spending about $200 with each visit. Today I was told there's no refills with the strawberry lemonade. So when I was paying my bill I brought it up to the female senior manager and showed her in the menu it did not say no refills, she stated that the whole beverage section had no refills which no where on the menu it stated it. I paid my bill and sat in my car and called a few other locations and asked about the no strawberry lemonade refills, they all said wasn't true and Norco location is the only one not refilling it. With that said they lost a weekly loyal customer. As much as they charge for that drink with barely enough syrup or strawberries. I'll now stop coming here and will go to Cowgirls or Bobs Big Boys for our strawberry lemonade cravings. read more

The staff have told me two years in a row to check in July and I almost missed this special once a year pie again this year! They have them now! Go now! Went to Polly's Pies just to purchase a rhubarb pie. They only had strawberry -rhubarb which I never had before. The person who helped me at the register was very helpful and personable. I don't have any complaints about the customer service. I was so looking forward to this pie. Been craving rhubarb for weeks! To my disappointment, a very large diameter portion of the pie was pretty raw. Towards the edges of the pie was cooked and tasted pretty good. The filling was tasty. It's just unfortunate that I had fish through to look for cooked parts to eat and throw out a lot of the pie. Excellent service and the food was really good too. I went in over the weekend and I had my dog with me. The manager made an exception and allowed us to sit outside and eat with our dog. The service was on point we got served immediately. The food was really good. My husband got the wedge salad and it was amazing. The outside seating was really comfortable. After a few years of not being able to come, finally we are here. Let me start with let you know that I have worked for Pollys for many years, and before I work for them, I was a customer. The food was not great, was expectacular, the menu was amazing, etc. They had very interesting plates. A few of my favorites were : 1: Kona It was vegetables such as broccoli, celery, peas, carrots, pineapple, etc. With teriyaki sauce and squares of sirloin steak. 2: Asian noodles chiken salad Two different dressing Sam Choi dressing was for the lettuce only Asian dressing ( sesame oil ) was for the noodles and convination of vegetables broccoli, celery, peas, and carrots,only Lettuce was placed on the bowl first, and then the noodles and then on top of the noodles wontons, mandarins, nuts, etc. 3: Kalua pork 4: Macadamia nut fish 5: BBQ Ribs 6: Rotisserie Chiken 7: Chili's ( beans) 8: Dinner rolls Anyway, all that is long gone. The server that helped us out is being here for 16 years, and we told her that we also worked here and we shared our thoughts and memories at the same time we ask here for all the missing good items on the menu and she told us that the company changed after the original owners passed and the sons didn't have any interest on the business that today is a corporation that manages the business for the family but all the stuff that one time was great to work for the company and was very good as far as the menu is gone. Going back to today visit Asian salad 5 out of 10 No flavor on the dressing, the cucumber and the Mango just dosen't blend with the rest of the flavors. Pollyburger 9 out of 10 The bread this time was not so good, but the flavor is as always. Pollymelt 8 out of 10 Flavor great, but the bread had too much grease. Pies. BLANDEST. FOOD. EVER. Ordered the creamy caliente pasta and it seriously tasted like boiled pasta with cheese and bell peppers. Loaded mac and cheese was ok but again, flavorless.
