Daniel was such a terrific Host and modeled open and friendly body language that made me very comfortable to ask him questions about the current Capriotti's specials! I love how Daniel guided me to the Pick 2 Duo Section of the Menu when I told him I was interested in Soup, Salad, and Sandwiches for the afternoon. I decided to order 2 Duos, one with a Balsamic Chicken Salad and Tuna Sandwich and the other with a Bobbie and Chicken Noodle Soup! While preparing my meals Daniel and Levi were so friendly, inclusive, and focused on hustling efficiently together as a Team! When Firehouse Subs closed in Riverside I wasn't too distraught, but then I noticed this chain had quietly appeared. The opportunity to try them came one Saturday at the Eastvale location. There were a lot of customers inside when I entered, but I quickly discovered they were waiting for their orders to arrive, and wait I did as well. After 15 minutes I get figity and antsy. The issue it seemed was not employees slacking off, there were only two working, and clearly they needed a second dedicated cook to get walk-in, online, and delivery orders made in a timely manner. As for options, I'm pretty excited to try more on the menu, hot and cold sandwiches, all made to order. The four size options is another plus, and why I am giving four stars. The other is how excellent the pastrami sandwich was when it finally appeared. I was pretty hungry, but it was so good, from the portions to the bread, it's better than Jersey Mike's in many respects. I got the second smaller size from the bottom of the list, and if I was hungrier, I'd aim for the third size up. Their large size is larger than the competition, so maybe share it with someone to offset cost and quantity. A coworker and I stopped in for lunch and were immediately, and enthusiastically, greeted by a wonderful young woman working the order counter/register. We ordered our food and she seemed to really go above and beyond for "just a sandwich shop". I ordered a medium Classic Cheese Steak ($14.99) and my buddy ordered a small Veggie Chicken Cheese Steak ($11.99). We both added the optional spicy red peppers (sweet peppers also available), which took the sandwiches to another level of delicious! We also tried a medium order of their Naked Fries ($3.99), which were thin and crispy flat fries; again, very tasty. We've been to other Capriotti's locations in Vegas plenty of times and have never had to wait anywhere close to this long. We also noticed several people with online pickup orders waiting 15+ minutes, so it doesn't seem like the delays were just with walk-in orders. It was my first time here and the customer service was great from start to finish. The place was clean and inviting, definitely a place I would come and have lunch again. The person that was helping me at the register took the time and was patient to help me pick out a sandwich I would like. They gave me free fries for signing up for the rewards program, and they're also phenomenal but it was too much food over all for me! Okay not great. I came here because of the Turkey Cole sandwich. It's basically a turkey Reuben: turkey, provolone, coleslaw, thousand island dressing. Taste wise it's not bad but a more traditional turkey Reuben comes with grilled bread (like a grilled cheese) and this is served as a sub sandwich. Trying this sandwich made me realize you have to eat that kind of sandwich hot/warm. The sandwich wasn't necessarily bad I just don't think I care for the preparation of it. I also got a side of fries and those were awful. They were not hot or warm and they tasted like they had been sitting for a minute. I purchased 8 sandwiches for my family online. We were told on the online site if we signed up for rewards, we would qualify for a free medium sandwich. Apparently, we did not register correctly as we did not get the free sandwich. The online clock said to come pick up. We went to the shop and the person at the register told us, "oh we have been busy and haven't even started your order." We asked about the free sandwich "oh that's only online " with a shrug. Capriotti's is a solid spot for sandwiches. I never would have guessed that some place in Eastvale would have sandwiches this good. My friends had been hyping this place up so finally getting to try it was awesome. I split a large Bobbie with my friend and it was really good. I didn't even know what it was until I took the first bite lmao but holy shit, it was definitely the most interesting sandwich I've had in my life. Though it was good, I felt like I wanted to try something else so I bought a small Cheesesteak and that was delicious. Every bite was sooo good. I highly recommend either of these two sandwiches. It might have been because the place was empty but the service was fairly quick and the workers were cool about making our food though it looked like they were trying to clean up. Not sure I would order from here again. Fam and I decided to try somewhere new and we were all pretty disappointed.. our order consisted of a hot bobbie, a regular turkey, pastrami fries, regular cheesesteak & chicken bacon ranch sandwiches. The 'hand pulled' turkey that comes in the sandwiches can be hit or miss. Some pieces were very hard and crunchy and others were pretty stuck together. You can tell it's real turkey though because it was lacking flavor as real turkey does. A few of the most important parts on the regular turkey sandwich were missing though; no oil, vinegar, or mayo. It was very... VERY dry. Hot bobbie was split between two people to try & I think the mayo on the sandwich kills the whole "leftovers" vibe. The stuffing on this sandwich was really good though. The cheesesteak & chicken bacon ranch were untouched for the night as we were not thrilled with the main sandwiches we wanted from here. The pastrami fries were tasty. I think next time I would omit the Russian dressing and sub for mustard or something. Did not love the sweetness from the Russian dressing. They're somewhat expensive BUT you do get a good amount in comparison to other sandwich shops around. (Fries excluded here, small portion for how much they cost) I probably won't come back here. Dang Instagram and their targeted ads got me AGAIN! I saw an ad for these delicious looking sandwiches and thought it's probably in New York or some other far away city. So I hit the order button and turns out there's one in Eastvale. Bookmarked. Located in a strip mall at the extreme end of Eastvale (practically Chino), Capriotti's is pretty easy to find. Parking, less so. We walked in and were greeted by staff immediately. I went with a medium NY Chopped Cheese and the kiddo went with the Hot Bobbie. There are four sizes so picking which is which was kind of different at first lol. The sandwiches came out pretty quickly and we dug in. I don't know if this is what an authentic Chopped Cheese is to a New Yorker but it was a damn tasty sandwich. The kiddo really enjoyed the Hot Bobbie. It's Thanksgiving dinner on a sandwich. Lemme tell ya, next time I will probably go small as the sandwiches are extremely filling. The kiddo has a pretty hearty appetite and she could only finish half. Capriotti's is pretty out of the way for me, but if I was in the area or if they had a limited time sandwich I'd have to try I'd absolutely go again. The food was delicious and filling.
