He did not leave a trace - no messy stuff left behind, no cleaning necessary, mindful not to scuff walls/respectful of property. He is very polite and reasonably priced. Flooding immediately from the garage door. They refuse to fix it because Anne Arundel County installed the grate in front of the garage door, with a drain pipe leading to a sump pump just inside the garage. After 6 years of floods, I finally recognized the problem: Action had removed the drain pipe and replaced it with drain tile that cannot handle heavier rains, causing the grate to overflow and flood the garage. Action never documented their visits, so this summer I tried something different: I made an appointment saying I had additional work, not warranty work, done. When the inspector showed up, I let HIM identify the problem, pointing out the issue was the drain tile that replaced the County's pipe can't handle the load. The inspector then refused to honor the warranty--again--but offered to have an Action foreman and crew come out and "fix my problem" for $1,000 cash. Still nothing in writing. Wondering how "corporate" was implicated (was this unofficial policy--avoiding honoring Lifetime Guarantees, potentially saving tens of thousands in repeat work?, or would the owners be upset that its employees were performing unpermitted and unauthorized work for untaxed income?). I received a text with the name of the foreman coming on the weekend and waited. They arrived in company trucks and uniforms. I took pictures and told them to leave. I went to the police station and tried to file a complaint but they said to report it to the MHIC first. I did and, again, waited. Today, the MHIC rejected the complaint as being 3 years past the original work. Time to file that police complaint and hire an attorney. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Turns out it is Saleiro, who was calling to schedule an appointment with me...so why not leave a message?! (this should have been my first clue of problems.) We make an appointment for the next day at 1:00pm to review the scope of work and a plan for additional work for an extra patio and outdoor kitchen area. I take a late lunch and leave work to meet him at 1pm at my house. By 2:00, no one has shown up. No one has had the courtesy to call me. I call and ask what happened (voice mail), and to call me back. I go back to work. Still no call. Sunday afternoon he leaves a voice-mail that he can come by that night and discuss the work, and can begin work on Monday am. By this point I have decided I want nothing to do with them so do not return the call, as we are out and involved in family plans all of Sunday afternoon and evening. Through Yelp, Metavision LLC was a company that promptly inquired about our situation and offered to come and give a free estimate. The gentleman I spoke with, Brian, was very knowledgeable and professional. He came and assessed the situation and assured they would be able to resolve our leak issues. He had to check his schedule and let me know when they would be able to come for the repair. Communication was consistent by phone or text and they were able to come within 3 days. I received the invoice for the work and the amount was reasonably priced compared to the average price for the work we needed done. The day of the replacement, we were in communication before arrival, during service, and after the work was done. Brian was actually very respectful and personable. He was able to answer any questions we had and offered to assist us further if any more problems occurred. I am happy we chose this business for our repair. They are new to Yelp with not a lot of reviews but have been doing business for over a decade. Black Owned Business too, which I am glad to see as this isn't as common in this industry. I am satisfied with their service and highly recommend them if you need any exterior plumbing repairs!
