    Predatory Theft by Deception of a Disabled Boynton Beach Senior Citizen…read more We purchased our home in Boynton Beach through Joan Saqui of the Rucco Group in December 2018.  She said we needed a new roof or we may not clear inspection/have higher house insurance.  The house inspector never mentioned it but my husband was concerned. In March of 2020 - He called Joan and she sent her husband Steve Saqui to our home to pitch his roofing company (FHIA) (Florida Home Improvement Associates) to my husband Kevin - who was recovering from a cerebral hemorrhage stroke suffered in January 2020.  Steve sold Kev the "best hurricane roof ever" with a 50 year warranty.  Even better - His company worked with a government funded loan through YGRENE/PACE in which the roof cost was absorbed right into our mortgage and we would barely feel it throughout the course of our mortgage term.  He also said that the loan would be transferable to a new buyer in the event of a sale. He made no credit check and I was not included in the contract even though my name is on the deed.  He had an electronic tablet with him and had Kev docu-sign.  My husband who is 65 and just suffered a stroke had no business signing anything. In February 2021 - we were stunned to find our mortgage payment suddenly jump from 2600/month to 3775/month.  I asked Joan Saqui and she told me - Oh - Everyone in Boynton Beach had their taxes doubled this year.  Not the case. I did more research and found that our Non Ad Velorem jumped from $394 to $6,499 from 2019 to 2020,  The roof cost was $44820 at $1600 a square for 3300 sq feet for a 2900 sq foot house.  Then an 8.74 intertest charge for twenty years making the interest alone $48,088. MAKING THE ROOF COST $92,908.000 !!! In further research online - I found several class action suits against YGRENE and the contractors peddling this criminal and deceptive loan.  The loan is in fact a lien on our house that takes precedence to the bank debt and must be paid in full before any sale of the property.  In fact Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will not even fund a loan involving any property attached to a PACE loan.  This is an outrage and we were completely duped. My husband just had a third stroke this February (the week after we discovered the truth about this loan) and was hospitalized for over three months.  He has a good pension but his pension dies with him - leaving me only his social security (when I turn 60) and life insurance policy.  This loan scam has us paralyzed - and when my husband passes I will be faced with no other choice but to be foreclosed upon since I have no means to downsize and pay off this ridiculous lien. We were deceived and lied to.  This type of loan is being outlawed in counties in CA and FL and the list of victims is growing to 62k. The stress of this travesty brought on my husband's massive cerebral stroke this past Feb 12th and led to being hospitalized for over three months - ventilator, feeding tube and brain damage. I had to spend over 10k to an elder care lawyer (Mark Shalloway) to attempt to move him from Medicare over to Medicaid in the expectation that he would never return home and be permanently hospitalized. By the grace of God - He recovered and is back home with us finally,  But I lost all my money and the stress of our precarious financial situation now still remains and is impairing his recovery. I have also written to the Florida Attorney General, Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Marco Rubio, Boynton Beach Mayor Steven Grant, the Boynton Beach City Council, WPBF and The Palm Beach Post.     Stay away from Signature International Realty in Boca Raton Florida…read more The biggest deceitful company. Their 2 realtors Barbara Gillis and Tony Zaks are the worst con artists A very arrogant and dishonest Broker, Ben Schachter we ever dealt with in our 74 years. If you are deluded by his Signature Realty, like I was cheated, you will never win in the court. Ben Schachter said there is no chance for us to win, since he had a lot of money, power and connections. He has a very skillful lawyer Kristen Haven, who is one of his business partners. We wanted to rent an apartment in Century Village, Boca Raton (We live in Chicago) at wintertime for 3 months to see how we like it. We planned to buy an apartment out there. Thanks G-d they cheated us early and we did not lose all the money. We gave them a deposit $1900, and they demanded $4500 prior arrival. We asked them to send us photos, which they did. Signature Realty Realtors concealed that the apartment did not have a queen bed for 2 people just a twin bed for one person. And there was no shower, just a specially handicapped bath. They said to us that the apartment was dirty, but they would take care of that. Therefore we asked them for a photo prior sending them $4500. By the photo we discovered that there was no standing shower and no queen bed for 2 people. We sent them a lot of email requesting to answer us if there was a shower to take and queen bed for 2 people to sleep and we never got a response from Ben Schachter, Barbara Gillis, Toni Zaks, the crooked realtors who promised to inspect the premises before we would send them $4500. The property owner and listing agent also never responded, since they did not have a positive answer. Therefore, we did not buy airline tickets and did not ship our car to Florida. We asked them to return our $1900 deposit back. They ignored, and we filed a small claim court in Broward County. We were sure that we had all the proof and all the e-mails, that we sent them. And they did not have any proof, given to us. The only "proof" Signature had is a handwritten notice from a listing agent (forged one day prior court) stating that there always had been a queen bad for 2 people. The court took place a half year later. That crooked realtor never responded to us about queen size bed, because there was none. 4 people, including 2 realtors that deluded me, arrogant Signature Owner, Ben Shechter and his business partner, an attorney Kristen Javen. Kristen did counter claim suing us for 2 realtors commissions, her attorney fees despite her being a business partner Of Signature Internatioanl. So, we lost $5500 besides $1900 deposit taken from us. The judge did not want to listen what we had to say. So Mr. Ben Schachter was right when he said that no one can win against him, since he had a lot of money, connections and power. When we tried to negotiate the amount with Ben Schachter, he shouted: " Didn't you suffer enoigh from me? You want more?" Yes, we suffered a lot. Besides money lost, we lost the whole winter vacation (because it was too late to find another apartment) and we could not but a property there because next year prices became untoucheable. So Let Public Beware. To deal with Signature International company is very dangerous!

    I am writing this review after one of the most stressful and traumatic experience that I have ever…read moreencountered with two human beings and these are two realtors that are currently married and employed by signature International in Delray Beach. The names of these realtors are Sharon Speer and Ewart Speer who are the most abusive, combative, aggressive and frightening low life's I have ever encountered in my LIFE. I was lied to and deceived by Ewart one year ago when I signed a lease where I had moved out of state and was corresponding via text. At this time he was always late in responding and added broker fees on at the time of lease execution that he had never mentioned, but at that time I had no choice to argue as my animals and furniture were in front of the apartment and I had no where to go. I guess you could say that I was bullied into it. He was awful then, but my newest encounter is criminal and he brought his wife Sharon Speer to the condo to help him bully, harass , intimidate and abuse me. Today they both arrived to drop off some paperwork for the new owner and I was to hand them the cable equipment. They showed up 2 hours late and banged on my door with an object of some kind where I nearly fell off of my chair with fear. When I opened the door I was called some x rated names and when I went to shut the door Ms. Speer tried to force the door open and was trying to hit me! I can only surmise that they were upset that I complained about Mr. Speer a year ago to his previous employer that he was less than honest and to make matters worse for him he had to see me again. He was not happy and she was no less than a pitbull ready for a fight. I have spoken to several of the managing partners in each firm and am now getting legal advice on how to keep them away from me since Sharon threatened my life. Her words were, "I will get you, I know where you are." AS she finally left while screaming at me , she proceeded to take pictures of my car. Looks like a restraining order will be in order. We will be writing to the National Realtors Association as well. These animals need to be barred from the industry. Run from these people. Do not risk your life with these menaces to society.
