It is a "Go to" Travel agency, at a reasonable and affordable price and they offer variety of great destinations (depending on your vacation budget) to visit, to relax, unwind and have fun! Helen Kogan and her team are very accommodating and very easy to work with. If they are not available when you call, and you leave a message, they will return your call as soon as they are able to. They will also help you the best possible way they can if you encounter issues regarding your trip or may have canceled your trip for unforeseen reason. They will try their best to get you as much credit you deserve and be able to rebook your trip later; noting that Helen and her team are always going to be there to provide assistance when you need them, providing the best customer service possible. As they have been in business for quite some time now, and they have seen majority of the places that they would recommend visiting, it is always good to hear about their honest input of certain resorts that you would want to visit just so you have an idea of what these places would offer. We have been booking "All inclusive" vacations with Travel Selections over the last 15+ years with no issues, but all great, fun family adventures, friendly, relaxing trips! We have also recommended this agency to a lot of our friends and family and they have been very happy with all the services they have provided over the years and they also had enjoyed all the trips they booked with Travel Selection!

I was trying to plan a vacation with my family, spending hours and days on those dozens of travel websites, with the all the pop-ups and the fine print, and the feeling of "i'm about to be scammed". I made one call to Travel Selection, told them roughly what I want, and how much I want to spend, and just like the various options were researched for me and presented to me. I chose one, and everything was done for me. Got a great deal to the DR, had a great time. Didn't have to worry about a thing, they even planned some of the entertainment during our stay. When we were returning: catastrophe! A series of canceled flights because of some far away storm! Angry crowds at the airport, no end in sight. I make one call, and they're on it! They rerouted us, didn't cost us anything and we got home almost around when we had planned to. THIS is why people use travel agents. I'm never wrecking two work weeks again to plan a one week trip again!! I've been using them ever since. Helen is the greatest travel agent--and i'm not exaggerating here--on the face of planet Earth!! She WILL go to bat for you, whether it's to find you that deal, to find you an urgent ticket when everyone says it can't be done, to get you out of a tough spot. Family treatment every time!

The downsides I'd say were that the resort wasn't NEARLY as nice as it had been pitched to me. The food was iffy, and my husband and I both got food poisoning (luckily after our wedding). The rooms were musty. And a lot of guests expressed that they could have gotten their hotels booked slightly cheaper than they did through Amy's team. We had our wedding in the Dominican Republic at Dreams Palm Beach FYI. And we loved the wedding coordinator on site (Virgilio) - he was fantastic, and the day itself was BEAUTIFUL and pretty perfect. Overall, the experience was a fun adventure, and my guests had the best time. We don't think we'd go back to this resort or maybe even DR in general, but it was very helpful having Amy's team there to help us along the way.

They were clear in explanations, had a very quick response time, and always sought out answers from the hotel quickly. They worked up until the very last minute with guests changing requests and really went above and beyond. They were able to get great rates and additional events for our group which we would not have been able to get working with the hotel directly. They helped me enormously during my wedding planning process and it was great peace of mind knowing the travel aspect was in good hands.

Don't let the name fool you, they do more than just honeymoons. They are a full fledged travel agency. The staff does go to many of the places the recommend so it's not just blind recommendations. We used them because with all the efforts going into the wedding, we didn't want to have to worry about the details about a honeymoon as well. We wanted to go to Hawaii and worked with Miriam Geiser. We did a 7 or 8 day trip to Oahu and Maui. Miriam helped gather the details for flights and hotels. We gave her a budget and she would stick to it. Honestly, if you're looking for a low budget type of trip, I would not use them, not because they can't work with you but being catered towards honeymoons and the like, they work with more high end hotels and services and have more experience with those places. They work with mostly 3+ star hotels. More like 4-5 star hotels though. Moonrings and Miriam did an amazing job with our honeymoon. We got detailed information and everything was set. All we had to do was follow their guide they gave us and we had a stress free honeymoon. They have some amazing recommendations on food and activities. A lot of the time, the staff has personally been there so they can vouch for it. Because we had such a great experience, we used them again when we visited Chicago. Being based out of Chicago, Miriam was able to give us a "bucket list" type of trip and give us a lot of good recommendations on food. Chicago is an amazing place. We had a great 3 day trip. If you're thinking of heading outside the US, they also have that covered too! As an anniversary/big trip, my wife and I wanted to go to Europe. We contacted Miriam again and they were able to give us another detailed trip to Italy and Spain. Miriam took care of the Italy portion and we worked with her colleague, Kevin, on the Spain side. Moonrings will let you talk with their experts for each city. They could have easily just had Miriam handle the whole thing and gather data for us about Spain, but they go the extra step to make sure they give you the best information they can. Not only is the itinerary detailed and spelled out, they also have your back when things aren't looking good... While in Rome, there happened to be a workers' strike, which would cause us to have to change our plans of visiting the Colosseum. Without us saying anything, Miriam had found out from her sources about this strike and went looking to see if she could get the tickets refunded or any alternatives. In Spain, we were not able to reconfirm a reseravation to a restaurant and the restaurant called Kevin. He told them to hold the table and emailed us to see if we were still going to make it. Because I got sick, I wasn't able to make the reservation, let him know, and he took care of it. Thanks Moonrings.

When planning our honeymoon we had no idea where to begin or even where we wanted to go. Miriam got to know us and what we look for in a perfect vacation. She planned us an action packed 14 day trip through Greece and Italy and took care of every plane, train and automobile along the way. You would think she was a local based on the amount of knowledge she had about each of our destinations. We will definitely be using Miriam and MoonRings again on our next vacation.

After graduating from college, I decided to take my dream vacation and go to Vietnam. However since I have never traveled to Asia before, I decided to play it safe and talk with a travel agent. I went to First Class Travel with high hopes but sadly had a very disappointed experience. I wanted to get an idea of how much a flight cost from Chicago to Da Nang. Hilariously, I was informed that it would cost at least $2,500 for a connected flight from Chicago to Seoul and Da Nang. Having again traveled most of my life, I knew that didn't make much sense. While the travel agent said that was my only option. I looked up an American airline flight from Chicago to Da Nang with a 1 hour stop in Tokyo for $1,500. This travel agency wanted me to spend $1,000 MORE. Not only that, they would not have even booked the flight unless I booked a resort or hotel while I was in Da Nang. They also added that it was my fault that the flight options weren't as open because of the dates that I took off. And that if it was them they would ask their employer to just chance the vacation dates that I requested months in advance to make this trip work. They also had to say "Well Vietnam is an odd place to go to. I don't know why you would want to go there." Not only is this inappropriate but it's none of their business why I want to go there. So I left First class travel and did my own research. Bought my own plane ticket $1,000 cheaper and did airbnb and got a lovely beach villa for $25 a day.I had a wonderful time on my dream vacation. My advice. There is not point going to a travel agency. All the information you need is online. If you need advice on travel, ask people who have traveled there. The best way to describe First Class travel is: If you want something done right do it yourself!
