We went to the Polynesian Fire Luau tonight and had a good time overall, but there are definitely a few things they could improve. The waiting area before the show was packed and really warm. They had a couple fans going, but a few others weren't even turned on, and there weren't enough seats for how many people were crammed in there. It made the wait feel longer and kind of uncomfortable. The show was listed as starting at 8 PM, but that's actually when they started letting people in. Every family was stopped for a photo at the entrance, which slowed everything down. I did appreciate that seats were pre-assigned, so you didn't have to fight the crowd or rush to grab a spot. That part was smooth. Once you're seated, you head to the buffet. The food was okay--not amazing, but not bad either. You're seated with your group or with other guests, depending on your party size, which can be hit or miss. The show itself started off a little slow with mellow music and pacing, but it really picked up toward the end. The finale was awesome--high energy, great performances, and definitely the highlight of the night. Dinner at 8 PM is already pretty late, and with the delays getting in, the whole evening ran long. If they streamlined the check-in and photo process, it would make a big difference. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. The show was worth it, especially the ending, but they could definitely tighten up the logistics to make the experience smoother.

The show was wonderful. There are some very talented people in the show. The fire part of the show was amazing. Unfortunately the food was absolutely awful. The pulled pork was like soup and very fatty. The chicken had some kind of weird texture to it. Not sure what was up with that. The vegetables were overcooked. And it was utterly chaos and way too many people trying to get to the buffet line and back to their seats. The tables were so close together that one person had to sit down in order for another one to pass . I'm glad there wasn't an emergency.

Polynesian Fire Luau had a small pop up bar experience for Elvis. What a home run!!!! This place is themed extraordinary. We need to return for the dinner show.

If you're going for the food you'll probably be a bit disappointed. If you're going for the show then it's a good mix of fire, dancing, audience participation and of course some comedic moments from the onstage performers. It's a buffet that also includes soft drinks and slices of cake for dessert. If you get there early there's a waiting area with a full bar and a couple of bartenders. Then they start letting folks in, stopping groups/couples for the obligatory photo opportunity and then escort you to your assigned seats. Once inside you belly up to the buffet and bring it back to your seats. We splurged the extra $10 per seat to sit up front, which was nice, because most folks did not so they were seated about 15 feet behind us. Regardless, I don't think you'll find a bad view no matter where you sit. Anyway, fun show, food was OK, bar is open before and during the show.

Such an amazing experience and fun time with the family. The entertainers were definitely entertaining and hilaruous!! I had such a great time and it was worth the pay. The food was great, it might have just needed a little bit of salt but other than that it was very delicious. My kids enjoyed it and so did my parents so it was perfect for all ages. I might make this an annual experience

Awesome venue, great show, but they are extremely disrespectful to their patrons. Very disorganized with getting in line, photos, seating. The food is absolute garbage. It's basically a hospital cafeteria spread. Everything was pretty much cold on the buffet because they put it in the warmers like 10 minutes before they open the door so nothing has time to heat. Very unprofessional, disorganized, disrespectful to patrons and we won't be back. The photographer got combative with our group because we didn't want to wait in line for a photo, we wanted to be seated. Doors opened at 4, they had people waiting in like a lobby area, they had over an hour to do photos, just disorganized. Just not an enjoyable experience. Maybe the one in Orlando is better, but Daytona needs work. It's not worth the price.

Had a good time at the Polynesian Fire Luau last night! The dinner show was very entertaining with a kitschy good tiki vibe! Very talented dancers, singers, and musicians. Ori Tahiti dancers and drums were amazing, along with the fire dances. Buffet was surprisingly good - the chicken and fish were tops at our table. Bartenders knew what they were doing and the drinks were spot-on! Recommended for couples and families of all ages.

Ordered: Adult Seating (~$55/person on Viator) Aya's take: If you find yourself in Daytona Beach, do yourself a favor and book the Polynesian Fire Luau. You get a fun dining experience and knife throwing fire luau show for ~$55. Parking was pretty easy as there was plenty of street parking available. We were warmly greeted, received our leis, took a group photo, and directed to our assigned seats. We arrived at 6pm, right when the buffet was opening! If you arrive ahead of time, you can enjoy the bar and get situated while waiting. The show was getting started around 6:20pm and went through 8pm. The energy of the performers was incredible, the food was fresh and pretty solid, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Highly highly recommend!

This was an absolutely fun show and experience to take the family to. Very entertaining and the performers are very funny so it's a good laugh too. A couple things to note (from the eyes of parents with two little kids so keep that in mind). The show was a little on the long side which is usually great but the real fire part doesn't happen to the very end. They throw in a couple fire twirling/juggling acts in the middle but that's it until the end. So my kids (2 and 4) were getting a little antsy but did have fun dancing to the music and watching the performers. Second note is the food was very lackluster. It was not bad, but generally not very flavorful or anything to write home about. Overall it was a great show and I would recommend checking it out if you're looking for a different night out!

MY RATING SYSTEM 5/4 = Exceeds expectations 3 = Meets expectations 2/1 = Does not meet expectations OVERALL POINTS RATING 1 - 5 1. AMBIANCE = 4 The waiting area/bar is small. People waited outside. Large table seating. so enough room for people to sit. We sat with new people and chatted. The dining area has some single seating for two and long tables for bigger groups. Lighting is adequate. Entertainment was high energy Drum beating gets loud and long. Consider ear protection. The fire act is good but if sensitive to post smell of accelerant that could be bothersome. The team brings humour where they can. Audience engagement but not embrassing. 2. FOOD/DRIINKS = 3 Normal high prices. They do add a automatic 20% tip to drink orders. No choice to do less. At the end of show ask to leave tip for those collecting dishes. another is put out for the entertainers. I enjoyed the food buffet style. Some have stated not favorable etc. I found it to be decent. Come with an appetite as it is all you can eat. 3. SERVICE = 5 Team stayed on top of food and collecting dishes after. Bartender was efficent. 4. BATHROOM = 5 Clean and maintained. 5. PRICING = 3 Tipping at each juncture. Mandotory for Alcohol 20%. Price of show with tax and fees for two was $112.00. Plus tipping points. From what I could tell paying the extra $10 for premium seating would not be worth it. 6. POINTS 20 out 25. For us it exceeded expectations. We would consider it again 20 to 25 = Exceeds expectations. 10 to 19 = Meets expectations. 0 to 9 = Does not meet expections.

Very nice luau in Daytona something different to do there beautifully decorated. The people were very kind. The buffet was very nice. Service was good. Definitely would recommend especially if you have kids. They would love the fire show and all the hula dancing.

Our party ended up being 20 of us and we were able to share a unique link for purchasing tickets so our party was all linked together as one party. When we first boarded, there really wasn't any direction as to what to do or what we could do so we just sat down at our table and waited for someone. We weren't sure if we could or should go to the bar to order drinks or if we could walk around before dinner. It took a while (10+ minutes) for anyone to approach our table.) Once someone approached our table we ordered drinks and then walked around the boat. We went to the top deck to take some photos and watch the sunset before dinner started. Once dinner started we were able to go the buffet as munch as we wished. Since it was Italian night they had all Italian dishes, none of the dishes really stood out but nothing was bad. It was good, but not like wow! While eating they started pouring our wine samples. We got two red and two white samples and a sommelier talked us through each sample. After the first two samples they gave us a break to walk around, go to the bathroom, etc. I would have preferred a shorter break in the middle of dinner and more time in the beginning so that we could spend more time on the deck while the sun set. Tickets for this event were $65 and in my opinion it was worth it. We had a great time and it was something I could check of my bucket list!

My newly created memory is so dear to me now. Just starting from the entry of the shop to pick up tickets. The staff was so bubbly with smiles and welcoming energy to assist you once you came in. Then after receiving our tickets we got to walk around a bit to enjoy the breeze. Now 15 minutes before our sail time they started guiding everyone to their designated tables. Once we were seated we were informed of all our important safety information while aboard and locations of the restrooms. Then our server came over to take our drinks. Our table was filled with charcuterie boards with fruit and cheese with sweet tea, watermelon tea, and water available within arms reach. We had a live performance throughout the interior time. They even sung requested songs. I enjoyed watching all of the other married couples get up and dance. My husband even got me to get a dance floor for one of the songs. Lol I was so nervous but I really enjoyed it. Once the food started rolling in we started with a house salad and bread. Then we got up and walked around the ship. We took photos and watched the sunset. It was so peaceful with amazing songs playing softly in the background. Once they announced dinner was being served we headed down to our table. Now about my Savory Herb Roasted Half Chicken with a White Wine Supreme Chicken Sauce.I chef's kiss for sure. I picked mashed potatoes and corn for my sides. Anyone who knows me know I love me some corn. Lol the chicken was so juicy all the way through. Flavor was perfect from the white meat to the dark meat parts. I was so stuffed you could probably roll me off the ship afterwards. Lol I enjoyed being able to try two virgin mocktails with a carrot cake that surprised me. The dessert was so tasty and fluffy. I could barely finish it. if ypu have not given this experience a try I highly recommend it. Thank you to the captain and staff on board you guys did amazing!!

We love what they did to the place. Service: the staff is very tentative and made sure you feel like a VIP. As soon as you walked through the door, you are greeted with friendly smiles and guide you through their setup and tables. Staff explains what to expect and what they have to provide. They walk around and make sure tables are cleared and questions answered. They were great. Entertainment: this is where they excelled. The show was awesome. It was funny, flashy, and educational. We loved how they interacted with the audience through the shows. They made sure the audience participated and enjoyed the experience. However, the only downfall is the flashes of lights. When we got our food, most were almost out and what was there were soggy or dried. And we were there probably 15 minutes after it opened. However, the script no fault of the actors was so poorly written and very disjointed. The script did not flow at all it did not make any rhyme or reason and it did not truly reflect the characterization what was good TV in the 60s. The script depiction of the 1960s television shows really was so poorly developed that the actors couldn't even develop their character appropriately. The actors gave it their all some of them had some beautiful singing voices so they cannot be held accountable for the poor writing. I also think that selecting a cast you want to find somebody who more resembles the character they portrayed and this particular production no one was like the characters from the shows. The food well, this is my second time at this dinner Theatre and this is the second time the food was far from par as I'm trying to be very nice describing it. It's sorta like Cheers, it's nice to go someplace where they always know your name, have a bright, warm smile for you, and provide an enjoyable afternoon of entertainment. We like the atmosphere.

If you like dinner shows, just come and check the box off! Fun show with audience participation!…read more The pirate theme is well done and everyone stays in pirate character really well. All the drinks have pirate names. They have a stuff the pirate area to make pirate stuffie toys, a gold mining area, display of pirate weapons, and bunch of other stuff to look at and play with. The show floor is smaller than a other themed shows. So audiences are smaller and character interaction is more frequent. The theme was right. Some of the lighting was a big dated but works perfectly fine just the a/v guy in me being critical of stuff no one notices. Lol At the start they took some volunteers to help with the show. This is a great time to volunteer random people and pretend you know them. Like saying "pick my aunt, pick my aunt!" I didn't know that lady, however, she will alway remember the good looking drunk guy who volunteered her on stage to make family photos and memories. The actor's all did a good job. They all seemed to be having fun. Which is a great thing for this type of show! They did a good job trying to keep the kids involved. The storyline, well its not Disney they server alcohol. So, I'm not really sure what the story was. I can tell you there was a mermaid, sword fighting, rope swing, and overall talent that makes me wonder how i failed at life. However, these poor souls are out at sea 7 days a week. Let's cut them a break and say awesome job matey! The food, Can't complain. Did come here for a 5 star food experience. As a matter of fact. 20min after sitting thw food was even a priority anymore. Haha. I got the chicken. It was half an entire chicken. Like a walmart side hot rotisserie chicken. The bones pulled right out. The smashed potatoes were made in front of me by a 7ft tall pirate build like a greek god who made eye contact while smashing these potatoes with his fist.... is how good they tasted. Would I come here again? Well, probably not but as a group yeah! All these dinner shows are fun stuff. Like, this shouldn't have been this fun. I think, id like to start a campaign of going to dinner shows dressed up like horror movie chatters. Go! Have a good time! Don't second guess it. Most of the 1 star reveiws are people who wanted a hologram show, that smells like Dinsey world, while being served by Jack Sparrow himself. Great experience! Trust me, we all wasted more on less.

Decided to check out the Pirates dinner while we were in the area, and it was super convenient…read moresince we could literally see it from our hotel. I had been to the Anaheim one as a kid and this was my guy's first time. We both love pirates, so of course we showed up in full character. Ambiance: 10/10 This place absolutely nails the vibe. There's a giant pirate ship outside, and once you walk in it really feels like you stepped into a pirate world. Ships, cannons, anchors, even little village style details. I loved everything about it. Service: 8/10 The staff were friendly, in costume, and a lot of them stayed in character which made it more fun. My only issue was with our server. She brought the wrong dessert and I could not get her attention to save my life. I get that it's busy, but she just wasn't very attentive overall. Food: 6/10 Food was fine. Nothing bad, just nothing memorable. We stuck with the basic meal, chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, and ended up with a brownie instead of the cheesecake. It did the job while we watched the show. Show: 5/10 When I went to the Anaheim one as a kid I thought it was amazing. Coming back as an adult, this one made me realize it's very much geared toward kids. Which makes sense, but it definitely changes the experience. Also, I am not a fan of shows that make you clap constantly. This is one of those. Like please, let me enjoy the performance and I will clap when it feels right. Not after every single thing. That said, the acrobatics were really cool and probably my favorite part. I wish there was more of that. But being so close to all the theme parks, I get why they lean into entertaining kids. Overall, if you love pirates it's worth checking out at least once. And if you have kids who like interactive shows, they will absolutely love it. Definitely one of those places that can create core memories.
