As with most beach towns, there is usually some kind of pub/tavern for people watching (or a night of serious drinking if that's your jam). This place is right along Flagler Avenue and not too far from the beach. We went on a quiet evening and sat outside on the patio. Inside was live music and lots of chatting patrons so we opted for the quiet outdoors. My sense was this place can get pretty lively. The server was friendly, easy-going, and attentive without being annoying. The key lime margarita was delicious--creamy and bright citrus hits. The fried haddock was well done- not greasy, a good size piece of fish, a yummy tartar sauce, and really good fries. The black grouper was solid too. Good size piece of fish, grilled such that it was still juicy and yummy, and the bun was good too. Keep in mind that this place can get really busy during the weekends and especially weekends in the summer. Definitely worth stopping in! If I could give this place a 100 star rating I would! I went tonight with my family for my sister's birthday and genuinely it made our night, from the lovely hostess Katie to our waitress Nicole and our bartender Connor (shout out to the other Conner for being cool as heck). The food was absolutely amazing, I got the sweet and smoky scallops and those were genuinely some of the best scallops I've ever had. Thanksgiving Day lunch at Flagler Tavern today. We had French onion soup, the Au Jus sandwich, a patty melt with Caesar salad and the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Other than the patty melt, which could have been cooked more and served hotter, everything was delicious. Our sever was fantastic! So fun and definitely added to our dining experience. The service was incredibly slow for a Sunday night. However, our waitress was very kind when she did finally address us. We ordered a fish tacos and the fish dip. The fish dip was so incredibly garlicky that we had to send it back. I had the Baja fish tacos and they were flavorless. Also, the tortillas were very hard and were very chewy. Went to dinner the other night at Flagler. It was chilly for FL but the patio was awesome with the heaters. Drinks were amazing! I got the passion piña colada and my friend got the plain. Another friend got the fish bowl - very fun! I got the stuffed shrimp with a Cesar salad and mashed potatoes. The stuffed shrimp were filled with crab meat. The dish was very dry and honestly the crab meat did not taste good at all. I hope this was a one off because every other time I have been here it was great. read more

We came for the burger. It was as ridiculous as it sounds. We split it, and still didn't finish it. And while it was great, we asked for it medium and was easily well done, there was NO pink in the burger anywhere. It wasn't a hockey puck tough because it's 30% bacon and stuffed with cheese, but it wasn't remotely medium. And the service while very friendly and kind was SLOOOOOOOW. One burger and two drinks shouldn't be a 2 hour meal. But it was and it was nice to sit there with my wife and catch up and thankfully we had nowhere else to be, but there were a LOT of people waiting for tables outside so maybe they should turn them around faster?
