I love the victorian decor of this place. It was built in the 1800s and you definitely feel a part of that era as you roam around the r hallways and rooms. I enjoyed their southern breakfast greatly ! I ordered the Brabant potato hash n eggs with biscuit and morhay sauce, peppers, onions and tomato relish. I enjoyed a nice hot cup of coffee and which it came in a kettle to serve myself. they are known for their chicken and waffle plate so I will definitely come back for another brunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was nice to have a room to ourselves.

Love the friendly service here and the excellent southern food here! The chef takes southern food up a notch! The fried chicken and mac & cheese are pure comfort food! The drinks are oh so good! Love that the building has lots of history and they have maintained that.

We love this place. The food is yummy, the service fantastic. Going tonight with friends as we saw they are all decorated! So it should be pretty! We came and totally enjoyed! Thank you Molly!

Took us too long to try this place. My new favorite restaurant in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area. Arrive just before 3 to learn their restaurant closes from 3-4pm, so my wife and I saddled up to the bar for some cocktails before an early dinner. Molly is my new favorite bartender holding down the fort in a deliciously cute bar area. The rest of the dining areas (and upstairs speakeasy) is a delight on the eyes as well. Though this isn't just my new favorite restaurant around because of Molly and the decor, but rather the food (of which we ordered far more items than we should) was delectable. Our served Cassandra as she kept our plates coming and coming throughout our meal. Will most certainly be back.

Some dining experiences are transformative. Once in a while you go to a restaurant where the food, the service and the decor all line up to take your breath away and you know you'll always remember it. The Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar was not just the best place I visited on a recent stay in the Port Orange/Daytona area, it's one of the best places I've eaten period and all I did was lunch. We stopped in without reservations but they found space for us outside on the front porch. It was right after Christmas and I have rarely seen a restaurant do it better. Cotton in the trees and bushes to simulate snow, classic Holiday decor everywhere you looked. Every detail was amazing! Inside was like stepping into 19th century home that was elegant and regal. The only thing better than the atmosphere was the food. Our Pork Belly Bruschetta was elegantly presented and just melted in your mouth. Salty, sweet, robust, just incredible and a great recommendation from our waiter. My wife and I split the Shrimp Po Boy along with a Chicken sandwich and there were both just next level compared to anytime we've had these before. If you're in the area, if you're within an hour, if you want to do a day trip, build it around the Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar. I can't wait to try their dinner. and bring others to enjoy this truly top-notch dining experience. This is what dining out should be. I highly recommend you give them a try.

I decided to take my colleagues here for an appreciation dinner of sorts. The service was stellar! Knowledgeable, friendly, gracious staff made my dining experience very memorable. I ordered a crab cake and it was tasty, although I might have preferred mine cooked more. I also ordered shrimp and grits. Again, it was tasty, but I wished the grits weren't drowning in the gravy. It was really too much gravy for my tastes. The antique dining room in this historic home was a unique environment in which to have dinner. Give this place a try!

Had a great experience here. Everything we ate was delicious. Such a great date place to go to. We had the green tomatoes with lobster. We had the three cheese grits. We had the pork belly and biscotti and we had the Villa Maria. Everything was fantastic.

My husband and I decided to finally try Rosa Villa for Christmas Eve. I made reservations several weeks ago, we arrived early but our table was ready for us which was on the front porch (I reserved outdoor dining). The restaurant was beautifully decorated and we were greeted by our server. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet as we checked out the menu. We heard how good their southern fried chicken was so of course we had to try. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles and my husband ordered the southern fried chicken which came with collard greens, mashed potatoes and gravy and he also ordered a side of Mac and cheese. Our food was delicious, the chicken crispy, juicy and the best flavor! My husband raved so much about the collard greens, he said best he's had. We definitely will be back! Perfect Christmas Eve dinner!!

Cute ambiance and atmosphere! I wish our server was a bit more attentive. We had to ask for the free bread, remind her to bring the vegetarian menu, and we didn't get a refill on our drinks. Still was very nice!

Do the still have all you can eat chicken on Mondays?

    Not that I know of

    A menu with prices?

No they don't post menu prices online but they are on the menu in the restaurant. I have noticed others say they are under new management so I can't confirm what the current price range is anymore. It was in the $30 range.

I am trying to make reservations for Sunday night but the phone line is not connected, is there another way to reach you for reservations?

I chose to sit outside (something I normally don't do) since it wasn't very humid. River Grille offers a diverse menu that mixes a bit of Cajun influence with southern cooking. I placed an order for the Bayou Hurricane, some gator bites, and Citrus Bourbon Salmon served with my choice of two sides (red beans & rice and garlic mashed potatoes). As I was enjoying my refreshing cocktail, the server brought out the gator bites. It was my first time trying them, and they were actually the best thing I've ever tasted. The Cajun remoulade complemented the texture of the alligator, which was fried perfectly and wasn't chewy. The deliciousness continued with the salmon. It was grilled nicely and topped with a tasty sweet citrus bourbon bbq sauce and onion strings. The red beans & rice was cooked to a soft consistency and the mashed potatoes was creamy and flavorful. I would describe my outdoor dining experience as pleasurable --that is, until a squirrel appeared and started going around the tables as if it were a regular patron. It was all smiles until the squirrel climbed up the chair, propped itself on the table, and looked straight at me as if to say, "Hey, you gonna eat the rest of that salmon?" I knew it meant me no harm, so I didn't freak out; however, I wasn't sharing my delicious salmon with it. I slowly grabbed my cocktail with one hand and the plate with the remains of salmon with the other hand as the squirrel scurried toward me. Luckily, two servers saw my predicament and came to shoo the squirrel away. Well, that killed my appetite. I asked for a container for the leftovers and ordered dessert to go. Don't get it twisted, I'm not deterred from coming back, it will just be indoors next time.

The hostess was friendly and immediately showed us to an inside table (at our request) Our waiter shall be nameless, cause everyone is allowed to have a bad day. We asked if the calamari or gator bites were better, he said the calamari suckedl. So gator bites it was. We had the stuffed flounder with hush puppies, jumbalaya, aforementioned gator bites and shrimp and grits. The beer was iced cold, which was appreciated on a very hot day. Iced tea and sodas are refilled at no charge. The food was underwhelming, and nothing stood out. I honestly wouldn't eat here again. We did walk down to the river behind the property after dinner. It was beautiful. You can feed the fish in the river for 25 cents. We also, watched squirrels yelling at each other, and saw a few cute lizards. If you're looking for a place to have a few drinks and take in the scenery, this might be a good stop for you.

The bowl was packed with so much incredible flavor and was super filling. Since I was dining alone, I grabbed a seat at the bar. The food wow the portions are humongous. I have to start with that. You definitely will not leave here hungry! The corn beef was fresh. I wished it had more onion and some bell pepper, but it was still great. I sampled the chicken salad and that was out of this world and the hamburger looked fantastic. As we were leaving, they had just put out muffins and cinnamon rolls. What a tremendous tease!
