Mini-golf is not as popular as in New England - or people do not go often at night. I love that. We basically had the place to ourselves. This was a normal price ($8 pp). . . so 4 people was $32, not $75 (like at Smugglers Cove - that was a shocker!). We're from Hawai'i, so the theme was fun -- and the holes were tough! The giant snake is a fun photo-op, the man working here was incredibly friendly, and one hole had a water feature with the cutest little frog in there. Also, the golf balls are fun - zebra, soccer ball, 8-ball. . . nice spot. read more

Two words - OLD SCHOOL. Poly Putt isn't modern. They also don't charge twenty bucks to hit a golf ball. The course isn't extravagant, but it's fun. And this place has been around since, well before I was born probably, and I'm almost 50. The most noteworthy part about this course has nothing to do with golf. It has to do with squirrels. Yep..squirrels. A pair of them have the run of the place and generally run like bat shit around the grounds, including out into the parking lot and around your car. It's hysterical. This place is a little sketchy and infested with mosquitos and ants. We played the first five holes like normal and then flew through the last 13 and made it a free for all just to get out of there. $6 is cheap, but I guess you get what you paid for. :( We made it fun but we wouldn't go back. read more

Is this fancy- no. Is it new - no. What this place doesn't have is made up in the charm and value this place has. It's a truly classic *and challenging!* place to enjoy a session of mini golf. First, you can't beat the price. $6. No gimmicks like the gators, lights, fountains, or mountains. It's just plain old mini golf. Seriously just walking by made me think no way looks too easy and worn out. Wow was I wrong! My last visit to the area I golfed at nine different mini golfs. This was by far the most challenging and best priced one. You have to have quite an accurate shot to make the holes so don't let the appearance fool you - stop by and support this family run golf. I'd say Smugglers Cove is definitely a little bit better than this place with the more cleaner atmosphere and the amazing alligators but this place comes in a second favorite the staff here unfortunately aren't very friendly and it seems like they don't want to be working there. read more

This has to be absolutely the worst miniature golf course that we have ever been to. I absolutely hate having to talk bad about someone's business but I am afraid this one is so deserving. The lobby smelled so bad that we couldn't bare standing in there to get our clubs and pay. I don't know if it was the pets that they had in there or water damage but it was disgusting. The course was in terrible shape and the holes had no interesting features whatsoever. Some holes were just a straight putt to the hole. We all got bites on our legs and there were ants all over. The only good thing was the price at $6 but for what was offered even that was overpriced. read more

We had a great time here. Staff was friendly. Service was fast. Price was excellent! The 18 holes were challenging enough for putt-putt. My only cons are: Limited parking. and Course area was small, so if the group in front of you held things up, this would cause a little congestion. Good location, easy to find. This place is a snapshot of days long gone. So few are aware of its retro-fueled glory and long history! We used to have Gulf Golf on the beach and Goony Golf on 66th St in St. Pete. PP is the last of it's kind still in existence, so please understand and be kind! This joint is actually a piece of pop-culture history. Lee Koplin was the "guru" of these sort of concrete Animal/Fairy Tale/Tiki/Dinosuar mini golf courses. It's most certain he was involved in creating the large TIKI head and giant SNAKE statues here. Sadly, most other courses are gone now. Koplin's pinnacle of this sort of joint still remains in the FL Panhandle. If you are either a mini-golf or retro fan? Check it out... But here? The Giant walk-thru, retro MOAI head is worth the visit alone, just for the photo potentials, plus... Even better, PP's course is fun, well-kept, challenging, and still a bargain! Sure, there are more-polished "chain owned," and much more expensive mini-golfs a bit more North on the beach. Yet I still always find myself coming back here. Appreciate the old school "retro-ness" of this place, and you can enjoy. If you are looking for modern putt-putt with over-the top themed decor, this is not the place. If, however, you can appreciate simple holes that involve some complex putting angles, you can have fun here! At $6 per player, it is affordable, and they have some fun decorated balls that your kids will enjoy (or, if you are like me, that you dads will enjoy too). As everyone below said- a little dated mini golf place. Perfect for killing time and escaping drinking. Good 18 holes for $6- can't beat it. Angles and greens were pretty good. Not a top of the line course, but for the price you couldn't beat it. Bring some bug spray and dress light as at night the mosquitoes loved me as I was getting a little warm and sweaty. read more

Super fun! Not much parking and could be spruced up some but I like their hours and will definitely be back.

Liked our time at PolynesIan Putter very much. Some repairs are in the works due to Hurricane Ian, but it's like stepping back in time on St. Pete Beach, and I'm so glad the course is still there. The eighteen holes are challenging and fun, and for $6 a person the entertainment is so affordable. They may not have alligators to feed, but the squirrels do acrobatics in the palm trees! Three of us (ages 13-51) had lots of fun, $6 each seems like a decent price, and while the "greens" weren't spotless, they weren't ragged either. My wife and I were down in St.Pete Beach for a week for a wedding. This place was about a 15 minute walk from our hotel so not a big deal something different to do. It was attached to the lobby of a roach motel that looked like it had never been updated. All the wood in the place was rotted and looked like it was original. Yah the tiger right by the road was painted up all nice to draw you in. The price was right for the place cheap. I would not recommend taking children here or adults. read more

Basic designs but still challenging, and only $6 a person. Kind of nice in how it's "retro", but it's a bit TOO old--I don't think they've updated it since the Ford Administration. I'm a minigolf fan, and as such whenever I see random minigolf courses like this, I stop. This one? Boy am I glad I did. This course is like your favorite dive bar in minigolf form. Sure the greens arent immaculate and it has a little wear, but its familiar and you really dig the decor. What others see as flaws, I see as character and history. This is a course with background and history in the area, not a chain off a expressway, and it shows. Every time Ive been here the staff is great, and you're close enough to the beach to get a little bit of salt up your nostrils when the breeze hits just right. The giant Moai is a tiki lovers dream hole and perfect photo op, especially at dusk. The holes pose a challenge most of the time, and the wear of the course can add to that ocassionally. If you're looking for a course thats a little off the beaten path and a little rough around the edges while still being charming as hell, this is the place for you. read more

If you're looking for a dive of a mini golf place, you've found it. Relatively cheap, attached to a motel, and minimal on theming. We went here on a nice sunny day and had a fine time, most of the course is shaded by trees so it wasn't too hot. Pulling up I expected a run down course, but it's just fine. There are a few large theme pieces - a statue, a large snake, and a tiger - but the rest of the decorations are things you would find in somebody's garden. Most of the greens are relatively well kept, but there are a few spots where it's either coming up or worn out. I scored a par for the course, and that's what star rating they get. read more

Very well shaded! The prices here were as expected and I'm glad there is a putt putt place in St.Pete Beach, however I wish it were better cared for. At one green, there were shrubs that were filled with bees. Um, no thanks! Other greens were not aesthetically pleasing. This place rocks. Inexpensive. Nice people. Down to Earth. Yeah, there might be a beer can in the bushes every now and then -- but the staff can't be everywhere all the time. Went at about 11am on a Saturday morning while staying at a hotel close across the road. Went in 2 groups, and wanted to pay separately. The first group of 3 people paid, total was $18 and paid with a card with no issues. Second group was 2 people for $12 and they wouldn't accept a card because they didn't take cards for totals of less than $20. Wouldn't have had a problem with this if 1: they had a sign posted saying this or 2: if they had been polite about it. The staff was extremely rude and not accommodating at all. The course didn't look great anyways and there was no one there. Ended up leaving and going to Smugglers (I think that's the name) golf course about 7 miles away. MUCH better. So friendly and you can feed their alligators. Would recommend driving the extra 7 miles than going to this place. read more

This is a cute, fairly priced putt putt place. Was not crowded. Great for our young daughter who has a lot to learn about putt putt! Needs updating but was fun anyway and we finished in under an hour which was good for the young child! Nice staff. We would go back. read more

Let me start by saying that this place is completely run down, there are beer cans and cigarette butts in every bucket before each hole and the place is right by a pretty sketchy motel. But... It is still a fun course to play. It is a fairly easy 18 holes, so players of any skill level will have fun. The water by one of the holes is a shade of green that I have never seen before. We were amused with the very serious reviews of this place and decided we try it out. It's a hokey, low-grade course with few obstacles, and cheesy decorations. We LOVED it. You're in St. Pete Beach so you can't expect Myrtle Beach or Panama City-type putt-putt. It was a Thursday night so it wasn't too busy. The other people there were polite and well-mannered, no one was causing a raucous so it was good for a family. We would definitely go back; it was an inexpensive fun night out with the family on vacation. We had our three kids with us and weren't put off by the hotel next door and did not see beer cans everywhere. I wasn't surprised by the cigarettes though but was glad they were in cigarette butt cans rather than laying all over the ground. read more
