art setup that was taken by the hurricane

Was just here the other day to roller skate the pier with some friends and grab some food on the rooftop tiki. Have been coming here since the inverted pyramid. Nobody likes the new design. I am ok with it. Better than nothing being here at all. Love to do all kinds of stuff here. Fishing at the end of the pier is great. Bait shop right there and water for cleaning up. All the restaurants and bars have great food and drinks with spectacular views. The splash pad before the pier is great for families and kids. Also a beach, ice cream. Sometimes live music and a movie theater setup. Movement Mondays from 7-9pm is a free even as well and a blast. If you haven't been here, I genuinely feel sorry for you and hope you make it soon.

I should have taken more photos mine do no justice. This pier is a must it's my favorite pier. It had eveything so cool. I've never seen a trolly on a bridge to take you back and fourth from one end to the other. They have a splash pad on the pier and little spot for you to walk to the sand and beach water to swim. They have a children's museum on the pier. The have a bar on the pier. It's big and beautiful the weekend they have vendors that's when we went. But must go. Parking is paid and we parked a couple blocks away to pay for street parking a lot cheaper

This is an awesome place to get some fresh air, put some steps on, and check-out some cool places to go and restaurants. The St, Petersburg Pier tram makes pick ups at the very end of the pier and at the very beginning of the pier. On our visit, the tram was clutch as it was extremely hot and I was already at my daily max steps, so it was a nice service to take advantage of. There are not many trees, other canopy, or sun shades to provide protection from the sun so definitely a big hat and sunscreen to protect yourself is in order. Also, definitely take along some water for hydration. Once we arrived at the end of the pier, we took the elevator from the Gift Shop to the fifth or top level, which was a bar with live entertainment. There were awesome views of the marina, the Airport, the St. Petersburg skyline as well as The Vinoy hotel. The SP Pier is a 'must-see' point-of-interest, and I would recommend a visit in the morning hours or evening when it's cooler and the sun is less intense. On our several visits to the pier during our stay, we always experienced a nice wind and lots of friendly dogs everywhere.

The St Pete Pier has so much to offer, for crowds of all ages, all throughout the day! First, you can really get your steps in here- the entirety of the Pier has to be at least 1 mile long. But they also have a tram you can take if you don't or can't do the walking. There's a splash park for the kids and a playground, vendor booths with a fun and unique variety of knick knacks, and even an aquatic museum. Of course, there's eats too for all the goodies. Perry's Porch is a new edition at the start of the Pier- you need a reservation a few weeks in advance for that one. At the end of the pier Teak and Pier Teaki. Teak is a sit down restaurant on the second floor and Pier Teaki is the rooftop bar- that place is so cool and also serves food but it fills up real fast. It offers a stunning view of the St Pete skyline, especially at night. And in between there's also a concessions. There's tons of seating all around, and even a tiny beach right along the water. There is water so you don't get dehydrated and even free sunscreen. They host many events & festivals in the area too and it's a great place to hang out.

This Pier has been around for 5 years. I can't believe it. I remember when it first opened. I looked up the date and it was July 6, 2020. This month they have had celebrations all month. The drone show this past weekend(Sunday, July 27, 2025 was suppose to be the finale. It stormed, not a surprise. Florida in July. The drone show didn't happen even though it stopped raining, and they let people know at 10:20 after people were waiting around and they last said it would be at 9:30. Communication is the key. But nonetheless, St, Pier is an awesome space to enjoy views of St. Pete. I didn't love it at first, but I do now. You can walk, or take the tram which is free and take it to the Pier, and at the Pier, there's the Tiki bar with great views, a restaurant Teak, a coffee and ice cream shop, a store, & a small museum. And the views with all different levels and angles is really cool. You can park by Doc Fords restaurant which is covered and Park Mobile metered(currently under $3 per hour(I was surprised the cost wasn't more) or there is parking by the street all metered. If you don't want to pay to park, there are free two hour spots by Vinoy hotel and you can walk. The parking attendants chalk your tires so they know how long you been there and will definitely ticket if it's after two hours. There are street vendors and festivals that happen here. It's a great spot. Don't forget to bring your pup or your bird.

I absolutely love the St. Pete Pier. The views are stunning and there is so much to do, whether you are interested in grabbing a bite to eat, going for a walk, or shopping around. The tram is a nice touch for those who want to take a small joyride or simply take a break from walking around. There is also a large splash pad area and playground for kids, so this makes for a perfect spot for families, too. As someone who appreciates wildlife conservation, I always enjoy looking around the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center. I look forward to trying out some of the dining spots on the pier (like you can't go wrong with a bite to eat and amazing waterfront views, right??). This is the perfect spot to get your vitamin D in and enjoy some relaxing time outside with friends and family.

I was told this is one of the most visited piers in Florida and now I know why...because it is gorgeous especially at night!!! It made me want to moved out of Orlando straight to St. Petersburg. Walking on the pier at night is like magical! I loved the reflection of the buildings and their lights in the water, so colorful. The restaurant at the end of the pier was amazing! It's a 3 story building offering 3 different venues. Pier Teaki is a rooftop bar which has an amazing patio with great outdoor seating and an amazing view towards the ocean. Next is Teak, a nautical casual dining restaurant with a 360 degree waterfront view and a great indoor seating and decor. And last is Driftwood Cafe which serves delightful artisanal coffee and delicious treats. And the pizza served at Stone Fired Pizza is one of the best!

Soaking up the sunshine and waterfront vibes at the St. Pete Pier! From watching the sailboats on the bay to the skaters doing their thing, it's a beautiful spot to people-watch and just enjoy the day. St. Pete really knows how to do a waterfront area right. I can't get over the gorgeous views, the calm bay waters, and all the happy people walking by. The entire area is so well-designed for a day of fun and relaxation. Where the bay meets the shore and the sunshine is bright Sailboats pass by with a graceful, white sail On the pier, life's simple, a beautiful tale #StPetePier #StPetersburgFL #FloridaLife #SunshineCity #WaterfrontViews

We came here October 2024 In the afternoon. We had limited time so we just did a quick walk through. On the way out to the pier they had some music a DJ playing and then also a guy singing. They have a little trolley that will take you out there but we didn't have time to wait for it so we walked It was a bit hot but we survived. They have a little aquarium that you can go to for a fee it's more geared for children. Then we made it to the top bar which is the hotspot and they had a DJ and some Halloween decorations. We were so hot I just grabbed some ice water and then we headed back. The view on the back of the pier is very beautiful. They also have a gift shop. They have stairs and elevators. You will have to pay to park. I would say try to get as close to the pier as you can and park in the metered parking area. A good way to spend an hour or two.

St. Petersburg Pier has so much to offer: waterfront, marina, park, beach, restaurant, views, etc. I had a great day visiting a friend and took advantage of everything. And since it is right off the city, you can walk into town. Great locals spot.

Guitar players on the pier, live music at the restaurants, clean environment, bunnies hopping around enjoying their best life, what more could you ask for?

    Sharyll H.

Great place to hangout, people watch and exercise. Sitting areas are aplenty. Benches, table/chairs, umbrella/chairs and lots of green space for a blanket. The trolley is great for if you can't walk the whole way or just get too tired after walking to the end. The views are amazing over the bay.

Where do you park is it free?

We parked in the attached lot. It's a pay by plate setup. Was reasonable.

    Restaurants on thy pier?

There is a tiki bar on the pier that serves drinks and food. Doc Fords is at the entrance to the pier and there are a ton of other restaurants surrounding the pier.

The place has been around forever so there's a bit of history to it and a ton of different plants throughout, which keeps it interesting as you go. They had a scavenger hunt going on which made it more fun than I expected, and my favorite part was easily the huge koi fish. I didn't realize how big they get until seeing them up close. Also got a nice discount on Groupon so that was a win. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and want something low key.

Sunken Gardens is an absolutely beautiful place to spend a few hours wandering around. One thing we…read morereally appreciated was how much shade there is throughout the gardens. In Florida, that's a huge bonus! But it's not just shade for the sake of shade, it's provided by some truly stunning trees that are worth admiring in their own right. The gardens are filled with gorgeous plants, flowers, and tropical scenery, making it a relaxing place to explore. I can also see why people choose to get married here. If it's within your budget, it would make for a spectacular wedding venue. One of our favourite parts was seeing the animals. I absolutely love flamingos, so I could have stood there watching them for ages. They offer a flamingo encounter where you can get up close and feed them, but unfortunately we had just missed it. Next time, that's definitely something I'd like to do. We also enjoyed seeing the other birds and, of course, the turtles throughout the gardens. My only minor criticism is that I wish there were a few more animals to see. But honestly, that's a pretty unfair complaint because at the end of the day, this is a botanical garden, not a zoo. Overall, it's a peaceful, beautiful attraction that's well worth visiting if you're in St. Petersburg. For more travel, food, and attraction reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

I once worked near here, actually at a few places, all walking distance, and this is the post office I would use. I can't comment on how it functions as a post office now, but as a bit of "local flavor" it's pretty cool. I say this for two reasons. One is the obvious cool factor. Built in the Mediterranean Revival style and completed on September 27, 1917, it's a throwback to a different era. The lines and curves of this building are like no other post office that I know of. Sam H. uploaded a good series of pictures showing off the beauty of this post office. The other reason it has a bit of local flavor is for the rather seedy crowd that seems to gather. A sign warns that if you are not here on post office business, the police are authorized to act as agents for the post office and remove trespassers. I can't imagine what led to the need for that sign (proximity to Williams Park maybe?), but since it's open air, it's means access to the PO boxes is also pretty easy, and 24 hours. No other 24 services exist though. In the north west corner of the open air part a flight of stairs leads up to the historic museum. I did not have a chance to confirm that it's still in operation, but if you are a post office aficionado, it may be worth a look. On April 4, 1975, this post office was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. When we called management to fix it, we were only given a partial refund of $27.82, leaving an unauthorized $38.22 charge.Worse than the theft is the staggering cruelty of management. When Mike called to resolve this in January, the manager/owner on the phone literally laughed at us regarding the situation, alongside a room of his friends who joined in the mockery. To treat a severe, dangerous threat to a person's life and recovery as a joke is deeply unhinged. If you are sober, in recovery, or have a medical condition, stay far away from this venue.
