This place has it all!! From fine dining, to pizza, chi fil a, burgers and fries. A huge water side for kids and kids at heart. Steps away from beach and some the biggest in tac shells that I have ever seen in my life. Several pools, a modest weight room. If you choose not to eat or drink at hotel there are so many other options to choose from. Ada helped us at front desk she was so kind a true Superstar!!! This is a Military friendly location!!!

I stayed in a "villa" at island grand. It was just two adjoining hotel rooms. Fancy name for dated crap. The drop ceiling in the bathroom was caving in...just scary! This cost me over 1k per night. They only fill up the big slide occasionally. My grandkids were so disappointed that they never could go on that slide the four days we were there. I constantly see their commercials, and am always sadly reminded that i still feel totally ripped off. There are so many better places to stay in this area. Don't go here!

Pig skin blanket worst blanket feels like sand paper and don't get me started on the pull out bed.

The pigskin blanket. The bed you know how we have 33 bones in our back. Well there was about 33 springs in my back while I was sleeping. They call this the pent house but good god it should be called the hent pouse. Send help to tradewinds resort they need god. Nothing can save this place. Can't even turn the tv off the remotes broken. I woke up with a bad headache cus the bed.

    Partial ocean view ....not

Worst vacation ever ! Paid premium for partial ocean view 3 rooms for our family months in advance with simple request to have them close together. They gave us resort view with each room on different floor...really! Resort is outdated and in disrepair with a moat around it that smells. Gave manager chance to make things right but never heard from him. Don't waste your money staying here because they will nickel and dime you and it's hidden because it is a no cash resort. One picture would you call this partial ocean view ?

Classic example of a perfect Florida hotel. They do everything right and being located on an amazing beach don't hurt.

We immediately reported it to the front desk, who told us they could not access the valet cameras and that we would need to contact corporate, but would not provide us with any information on how to do so. My fiancé was at work, so I contacted law enforcement. This remains under investigation, so I will not speculate publicly about who is responsible. This review is about how The Hotel Zamora and its management handled us during our stay and after we left. Because my fiancé was working, I communicated with the assistant manager, David Engler, on my fiancé's behalf. I spent hours asking David for basic communication, updates, and assistance, only to receive dismissive responses and an attitude rather than empathy or urgency. During our interactions, David repeatedly rolled his eyes and visibly clenched his fists while I was speaking. Other staff witnessed these interactions. When David would return to his office, other employees apologized to me for how the situation was being handled and offered things such as complimentary drink cards. Once my fiancé was physically present, David's demeanor noticeably changed. I should not have to have my fiancé standing beside me before I am treated with basic respect and professionalism. The missing Mac mini was my fiancé's primary work computer. The entire reason for our stay was his business trip, and its loss has continued to affect his work. Despite this, we experienced very little urgency or concern from management. The surveillance footage was important to the ongoing investigation, yet we spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to obtain updates. We asked whether the hotel could accommodate another night so we could remain available while the investigation continued. Instead, we were told we could simply pay for another night ourselves at a discounted rate, then told we'd have to pay at full rate, and then told by the assistant manager that we would "confront people." This was comical. At no point did either of us say that we intended to confront anyone. We are both working professionals who were trying to handle an incredibly frustrating situation while continuing to meet our professional obligations. We explained that we live hours away and wanted to remain reachable in case the property was recovered so we would not have to make multiple trips back to the area. The last excuse we were told was that the hotel could not accommodate us because they were nearly booked for the weekend. We attempted to contact the General Manager, Shannan May, multiple times by phone and email. We did not receive a response from her during our stay. The assistant manager acknowledged that he was aware we had been attempting to reach Shannan, yet she still did not contact us directly. For a situation this serious, we found it extremely disappointing that the General Manager did not extend the basic courtesy of personally reaching out to the guests involved. After we had already checked out, Shannan eventually emailed us stating that we could have dinner on them, our resort and parking fees would be waived and that the booking agency would be contacted regarding compensation. We have still received no meaningful resolution or direct follow-up from management. The hotel cannot control every incident that happens to a guest. It absolutely does control how it responds. We expected communication, empathy, cooperation, and management that actually took the situation seriously. Instead, we felt dismissed, unsupported, and blamed for being upset about what happened. The investigation remains ongoing. Regardless of its outcome, our experience with the hotel's management was unacceptable. I have never left a review anywhere before. This experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to leave one. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

We were directed to check in at a neighboring building that appeared to be part of the resort. Upon arrival, the check-in area was locked, requiring us to return to the main property for assistance. Once checked in, we were disappointed to find that the room looked nothing like the photos advertised online. In addition, there was significant construction noise throughout our stay, which impacted the overall experience. Several amenities we were looking forward to were also unavailable. Harry's Pool Bar was closed, and at one point the fire alarm sounded, requiring guests to evacuate and wait outside until the situation was resolved. Following the incident, the elevators were out of service, forcing us to carry our luggage up and down six flights of stairs. Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations set by the online listing. We felt the accommodations were inaccurately represented, and prospective guests should carefully verify exactly which property and room type they are booking before making a reservation.

Top notch job and if this shows what they are capable of, i would have them prepare a buffet for any special event. We enjoyed your Christmas brunch buffet for years and was very sad when it stopped due to COVID. Everyplace else was open and they moved to a plated meal instead of lavish and beautiful holiday buffet. We had to find another one and it was really subpar. The service in this hotel is very good overall. The pools and the beach are superb. We chose this resort as a special anniversary vacation, and this is part of the lower review. We ultimately felt the hotel discount promotion and phone sales was misleading. Ambiguous communication led us to believe we would receive a free night, however we later realized and were told that the discount was already built in to our price, although no sign of discount was found anywhere on our invoice. I'm self employed and I've managed business for 35 years, and I've not seen discounts that don't show on an invoice. Se beware of promotional discount offers as it may not be what you expect, and you'll be left with no way to disprove the phantom discount because it's not on your invoice, apparently is just spoken. Overall service was very good. We had a minor blip in the maritana, which was the wrong dessert brought to us, and presented as "happy anniversary" with a chocolate that said that, but was strangely charged to us. The waitress handled it like a pro. I would advise the chef to either ignore birthdays and anniversaries and that sort of thing, or offer a small free dessert. But definitely don't bring out a "happy anniversary" dessert then charge for it. Also had overcooked hard poached eggs at the society table - no big deal just no runny yolk. If not for the price, who cares? But with such a great menu and fantastic chef, they should get eggs right. No discount offered. But I ate it so... All of our food was great, and really well developed and complete dishes as if it were Michelin rated. Cheers to the chef. Just two very minor fails. Overall it was a nice stay but we won't go back mainly because ultimately they didn't step up over a $600ish discrepancy over a 5 night stay. Look at my reviews. It's very rare I don't write 5 stars. I'm not one of those people that gives a bunch of bad reviews. The highlight of this resort is the beach, the pools, and the menu. Service is good overall. So definitely some good.
