We LOVE Pomegranate. Everything is always fresh. Large variety of toppings. Great rotating flavors of yogurt, but the staples are our favorite. This is the place my kids always choose when we are celebrating big or small. The owners and staff are always kind. The store is always clean even when they are busy. The owner is one of the nicest guys and the froyo is basically the same as Menchie's. The problem we had was with the 1/2 self serve but most of the toppings are all gate-kept. If you're paying by the ounce I shouldn't have to hand my bowl back to an employee for cookie dough toppings. Then have to feel like a total fatty when I say no 5 scoops not 1. I just made for an awkward experience. Everything tasted good and they keep the place spotless. I just hope they fix that flaw in the model. Let me start off by saying "Wow!!!" My wife and I took my 11 year old daughter to Pomegranate to celebrate some good grades, and I was impressed. The cleanliness of the store is second to none. Let me remind you that children often frequent this place, yet it is spotless. We found out it was wizarding Wednesday, and that means if you can guess the weight of your dessert, it is half off. After I piled on all sorts of goodness, I met my wife and daughter at the checkout. I actually picked correctly and got a discount. If things weren't already incredible, the yogurt and toppings were amazing too. I got banana yogurt with some tropical style toppings. Gary and Nicky were working and they are the sweetest people ever. They chatted us up, and were like old friends. They were still helping everyone else, but somehow still made us feel special. Lucky for me I went on a Monday and they have a special on Mondays were you pay for the price of a medium bowl and get a large one for $6 with tax ( cookie dough and waffle cones extra ) every frozen yogurt is gluten free and two flavors are sugar free . Very good frozen yogurt and the toppings also ! Most of all might be how welcomed we felt when we walked in ! It was our first time and probably looked lost so the owner helped us through the process of getting cup serving the yogurt and topping ! They have nutella and peanut butter so I was sold !!!! How could anyone give less than 5 stars? I've been here multiple times and every time this has been my experience. 1. Extremely clean even when it's very busy (including restrooms) 2. Staff are super friendly and helpful 3. Toppings never cross contaminated 4. Lots and lots of topping healthy and no so much 5. Non dairy choices because lots of people can't eat it 6. Low sugar choices because lots of people can't eat a lot of sugar 7. Cheaper than Menchie's and way closer I love this new addition to our community and I'm glad they came to Parrish. My father and I stopped by Pomegranate Frozen Yogurt for the first time yesterday for an impromptu treat, We are SO glad we did! . From the moment we stepped in, Gary (the owner) was warm, welcoming, and exuded obvious joy and passion for his business. The store is immaculately clean. The fresh ingredients are kept behind a glass pane and are served by staff (to avoid contamination from self serve). The frozen yogurt and toppings were creative, fresh and delicious! While we were there, we witnessed Gary support a local school fundraiser. My 70 year old father stated, "This is how customer service should be. You don't see this "above and beyond" level of service much anymore." Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back regularly to support this small business and its owner whom supports the local community. Thank you Mr. Gary. We will be back again soon! read more
