We were a party of 6 coworkers, and we stopped for a quick lunch. I was surprised that the place was empty when we walked in. The food however came out fast (pizza slices, a wrap and an order of wings). The taste was good, the value too. Not bad for an area. I will return if working in town again. Pomod'oro is the place to come, with many watery pizza pre-slices to choose from, along with many other dishes to name. The variety is quite large when it comes to different categories (sandwiches, salads, dinners, etc.) and many of them look pretty tempting. The food does take a bit to come out, depending if it's pre-cooked or not. With the pizzas, it takes about 3 minutes to heat up. I honestly recommend ordering the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Margherita slices - the best!! Dine in or take out. Customer service is at the top of their game, which I'm joyful to see. Been a fan of this restaurant since they opened. Excellent food, love Josh and Kevin, the owners who are very warm and welcoming, always a very good experience whether I pick up or eat in. Tonight we had a very lovely surprise. Ariana R was our waitress tonight for our Father's Day dinner. This young lady just captured my heart. I knew in her bright and enthusiastic personality there was something BIG lying beneath the excellent, gracious, friendly, speedy service we received. This young lady already worked all day elsewhere and was missing Fathers Day with her family. she is working hard towards a very prestigious college degree mostly on her own. I encourage any of you who want to see a nice, beautiful, caring young lady with the utmost work ethic to come by and ask for her. She reminds me of my nieces which is probably the part that touches my heart the most. I encourage y'all to stop by, eat a great meal and help this young lady through college. I certainly will be! This place was excellent! The chicken roll is delicious, their chicken parm lunch special is an excellent value and delicious! Their garlic knots are fresh and flavorful which is hard to come by these days at most pizzerias/italian restaurants. I haven't had their pizza yet but I'll come back for another review if and when I do! The staff has been very attentive and welcoming, seem to take their quality of food and customer service very serious, which is also hard to come by in many places these days, so I really appreciate that. They know many of the locals by name when they come in and that says something about a place; you feel valued! read more

I ordered a pizza with olives/sausage, and fried calamari for delivery. The pizza must have been turned on its side during delivery, there was a large amount of the cheese in the corner of the box, which had soaked through with oil. The toppings were sparce, the crust was not cooked, it was white and chewy. It was cut with three huge slices and three tiny slices. The calamari was also under cooked and the marinara sauce was thin and watery. All this for $50 with tip. I would have went back and complained but the delivery guy didn't leave me the receipt! They will be out of business soon, I don't believe some of the reviews posted, probably written by the ownership. read more

I was in the area waiting for my pups to finish with their doggy day spa. I was so hungry and decided to try this joint. I walked in and saw this yummy looking slice. It is called spicy chicken ranch I think. Basically it is a chicken bacon ranch without the bacon plus red onions and a delicious sauce . Now, I have never had chicken bacon ranch because I don't eat pork or other certain kinds of meats... we won't get into that. I was sooo happy to finally try this!! Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS!!! So much so that I had to go back that night to get dinner for my family. I met Kevin the owner who was super nice. And looks to be for a long time to come Hot food, great flavor both pasta dishes were outstanding and the calamari was good and most importantly not overcooked into rubber bands. We ordered from here tonight( Friday) for the first. The ordered was over $100.00. We ordered Chicken Parm sauce East flavorless and chicken dry and stringy. 2 Bacon chicken club. 1 slice of bacon on one sandwich very dry. Sausage roll was extremely small- if wanting a calzone size don't order this. Chicken Franchise had no flavor had to add our own lemon. We also ordered dessert. Cheesecake, Peanut butter pie and 2- Tiramisu was frozen solid. They did gives 3 free sodas for spending what we did. Unfortunately, this was our first and last time. read more

My wife and I had Clam's Pomod'oro last evening. I had red sauce she had white sauce. The flavor of them is indescribably delicious! They were both served piping hot with warm bread(which is awesome) The service and the attention we received was terrific. We were able to hear ourselves throughout our meals. Pizza is always decent, so are the sandwiches and rolls. Last night ordered cheesecake, came to me freezer burnt and frozen. Pretty dissatisfied especially for a super thin slice of cheesecake that cost me over $6 a slice. Idk POMO, I might find a different spot for my pizza and desserts Why would you even charge that much for that thin of a slice and why would you send me FROZEN, FREEZERBURNT cake. We have been ordering from them since they opened and have been enjoying the pizza! But last two times the pizza was not good! Delivered through slice and at $28 for an extra cheese large pizza was a LOT if pizza was slamming but that has not been the case! Last night pizza was on time actually earlier than expected but pizza was cold, over cooked and not extra cheese! It was so over cooked that you couldn't eat the pizza three inches from the crust! Bottom was tough and over done too! The pizza before that was ok but i paid for extra cheese sausage.. no extra cheese and lucky to find 2 slices of sausage on a piece. Don't know what has happened to Pomodoros but something has to change back! read more

Nice menu. Went with a classic: spaghetti with meat sauce. Quality ingredients, pasta perfectly cooked, flavorful. Generous portions (definitely 2 meals), really reasonable prices. My only complaint is they forgot bread in the to-go order, but I'm thinking it was a rookie mistake. WOW!! First time here was today for lunch with a couple of friends and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff was super friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in and pointed us to the direction of their large dining room (which btw was extremely well decorated and the atmosphere was great). They offer a multitude of well priced lunch specials which we opted to go for. For lunch I had a chicken parm which came with some garlic knots on the side. The portion was fantastic, chicken was moist and the sauce tasted like it came right from my Italian nonnas kitchen. My friend had two of their square slices which were thin ,crispy and super flavorful. Glancing at the menu there are multiple other dinners I will 100% be back to try along with some of their thin pizzas. Plus they informed me of a dinner special which is buy one get one 50% off for dine in at the beginning of the week. Great price and great food, can't beet that. Will definitely be back ! read more

First off, Pleasant Valley has been desperately dying for another decent pizza place for years and this place answered the call. Place has a nice large open dining space and a great atmosphere to dine in if you're not in a hurry. The food is always on point. Probably the best pie within 20 miles of PV in either direction. All the specialty pies are very creative and great combinations of flavors. There's something for everyone. Personally, my favorite dinner is the chicken francese over pasta. Chicken is always juicy and the sauce is full of flavor and has the perfect blend of lemon and white wine. Very authentic and tasty. Another personal go to is the chicken and eggplant parm. The tomato sauce is what you would hope for when getting any parmesan dish and the chicken and eggplant is always perfectly breaded and never too dry or stringy. My family eats here almost every Friday night and I sneak in for lunch when I can, to grab a regular slice and a sausage or chicken roll, which is perfectly portioned for a "roll" (it's not a calzone), along with the marinara sauce. It's the perfect compliment and condiment to any of the rolls or strombolis. To be frank, if you're in the PV area and looking for a good meal, GO! read more
