Been going here for years and nowhere compares! Soooooo much more than a pizzeria! In fact, I almost never order pizza because the menu has tons of other delicious Italian options. Their pizza is great too, of course. Grandma slices are my favorite! First and foremost- the vodka sauce is my favorite ever ever. That means it's perfect not only on the penne vodka dish, but also with chicken parm and with the garlic knots appetizer as well. I've yet to find better version of this sauce and trust me I've looked! Some delicious wrap options for lunch time- including an eggplant option that I frequently order. Special mention to the spudsters (if you know you know and this is the only spot I have found since my middle school cafeteria to have these bad boys). Summer salad is also a favorite of mine- super refreshing and love the different flavor combos. Yummy soups to start too- I especially like the lobster bisque. When the order arrived it was drowned in sauce and cheese, there was no beef but all cheese they also said it was a large portion. There was no beef but cheese and the charged an extra $3.00 for the non beef, the portion was not large. On another item which included peppers they charged an extra $1.50, none of this was mentioned before placing my order. At least be honest. If you can't do something say so. Madison is good for quick fried food and ripping people off, that's about it. Not impressed at all. And charged a $3.00 delivery fee. A waste of $$$$ for sure!!!!!! read more

Our family have been customers of Madison's since the beginning. Last weekend we had several trays catered for an event. Gules was incredibly helpful taking the order and handled everything perfectly and professionally. The food was outstanding! So many people were asking who catered the food. Been coming here for a number of years and Madison's has always impressed us especially with the recent renovations. In a convenient location, it's very easy to get into. Some days, particularly on the weekends, the parking lot can be packed, so expect to park far away. We've done takeout for pizza pies and fries at every visit. It can be a little strange when you walk in and there's a six-foot-high wall surrounding a dining section, but it's just part of charm! The better dining room/bar is opposite the register and it's so nice and quaint. Great for parties from 2-20. If you go in there even two or three times, the staff will remember you. They're great at making you feel welcome. What's truly outstanding is the FOOD. MY GOD. Personal favorite are the cheesy garlic knots and the penne a la vodka. COVID careless. Only one person in the restaurant was wearing a mask properly and full time. The young women who took my order was the exception. From where I was sitting I could see right through the kitchen and even the owners were maskless. One cook had his on most of the time when I was looking the rest were covering their chins and a few their mouths while leaving their nose uncovered. If you're in Pleasant Valley for a slice this is the spot. The slices are huge, and reasonably priced; so are the salads. Plus it's really tasty. They have a full bar here but the drinks are weak, and watered down. They're not super pricey but they could be a lot better. Glasses of wine are a little small too. The service is always friendly and attentive. It's pros certainly outweigh the cons; And if you've had a long day you can sit at a table, and someone will take your order. What another let down. This place was my go to place but that has now come to an end. 3rd time is a charm. We were very good customers of Jay and his crew but they just don't have it anymore. There pizza is either doughy or over cooked. Not this time.Friday night called for 1 pizza at 715. At 830 still not here. Called back and the girl said it's on it's way, it just left. Ok great. 850 called back and then was told we will need to remake it that it was never sent. Told them do not send it just to refund the money. As of today we have not been refunded th he money. This is not the first time but it will be the last. Not happy with this. I gave them all our business or I should say I tried to but should have learned after never receiving several phone calls back on a catering job. I always give 2nd chances. Well, it's official. Madison's is going down the tubes. Ordered a stuffed pizza, get a personal meat lovers, so someone has a stuffed pie somewhere, hope they like it. The staff is screaming at each other, the customers are screaming at the staff and Jay is.....................hiding at his other restaurant, that's also doing horrible. I wish I could give 3.5 stars but I will round up to 4. The food is good for a pizzeria. I actually love their Tex mix sandwich, which I normally get in a panini. Their Amy panini is good also but I always substitute the pesto mayo for pesto sauce. The sauce, dough and cheese are always par for the course. My reason for giving 3.5 stars is I have had multiple orders messed up. I have given the benefit of the doubt when the pizzeria is busy. However, they have messed up orders multiple times even with minimal customers around. It's a good pizzeria when you just don't feel like cooking or going out to eat.
