We've been doing takeout orders for pizza dating back to my youth days, oh yes! Ordering a pie is at a reasonable price. We've dinned in a couple of times, offering a lot on the menu. Very nice place inside, clean, & friendly staff! Was there with a large group for a pizza party, however the pizza was lacking to me. Tasted like fast food pizza. Crust was fluffy and sauce was a little sweet. I prefer traditional ny style pizza but this was almost like a dominos style. First rate experience here. Stopped in for lunch with friends. We sat on the patio, which was lovely. Ordered Carbonara and a pizza. Probably some of the best versions of both dishes I've ever had. My family has been going to Four Brothers Pleasant Valley since they opened years ago. It was always our "go to" place. NO MORE We all loved their fried chicken. So for the second time we went to have their fried chicken dinner which is on their menu as "country fried chicken dinner". Again NO fried chicken. So disappointed we ordered something else. It was okay. But then we were ready to leave ready for our checkout was to!d computer down boss has to fix. We waited a half an hour for our check ! Just got A Meatball Parm sub. Very very disappointing. A meatball sub should have meat BALLS on it. NOT sliced meat. Probably 2 meatballs on the whole grinder where it should have had at least 4 balls on it. I realize meat cost more but don't try to trick the public. My mother recently went to pick up an order I had placed, but unfortunately, she was treated very poorly by the waitress. As a person of Hispanic descent, I can't help but wonder if this played a role in the treatment she received. Based on what my mother shared, I feel deeply saddened by her experience. She explained that the first waitress seemed to treat the situation as her social hour, ignoring my mother entirely and being rude to her. Thankfully, a second waitress eventually stepped in and treated her with kindness and respect, which I truly appreciate. This experience is especially upsetting because I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for years, and my mother has been going there for even longer. As someone who works in the food and wine industry, I know how important it is to treat every customer with the utmost respect. It's always been my priority to be kind and professional, regardless of the situation. I hope this experience serves as a reminder of the importance of providing respectful, attentive, and equal service to every customer, no matter their background. I called ahead to check if they had a certain item and they said yes but when I went only 2 hours later there was none (I called at 2:00 and got there at 4:00). Also I was the only person there aside from 1 family of 4 and had to wait almost 35 minutes to get my receipt and was told that the computer was down and during the time I had to wait the family got their receipt and left and I had to wait another 10 minutes for my receipt. read more

The pizza is just as delicious as I remember and the greek salad is sooo good, the homemade greek dressing seems extra tangy now but its still good. It was so nice to see nothing has changed and it is still one of the best pizzas ....so cheezy.....!!!!!!! Picked up a large cheese pizza and a large greek salad for takeout. Pizza was overcooked (dark brown), and dry. There was very little sauce on the pizza. The dough/crust tasted like cardboard factory made, the kind you would find in a boxed frozen pizza. Their "famous" Greek salad was okay. I ordered a large salad @ $15.75, it came with one small container of their "famous" Greek salad dressing. I asked for another small container for the large salad. So they hit me for an additional $2.25 for additional small container of dressing. Hardly anything to rave about here. First and last visit to Four Brothers for me. read more

In my first visit back here in at least 15 years, possibly longer, I felt right at home again. The menu is revised, the staff has changed, but everything else felt so familiar - the layout, the decor, and those oh-so-delicious aromas. I felt comfortable ordering what I tended to order every time I came here. That included their "small" (i.e., dinner) salad, and trust me, it's not that small. I'm addicted to that dressing, and I'm surprised I didn't go through withdrawal in the past. That also included a pizza with my favorite toppings - love that Greek crust! I brought out-of-state friends here for dinner, and they were quite eager after they saw the portion sizes of dishes going to other tables, and equally satisfied after we finished ours. Excellent food, great service, nice waitress. Very nicely decorated for the area. We have had fried chicken and my go to is the chicken and eggplant parmesan dinner. I would gladly eat here multiple times a month if inflation was not so bad these days. I wish they delivered but it isn't a long drive so to call and place your take out order isn't really a big deal. A friend tells me their pizza and Greek salad are excellent but I have not tried them. She's extremely picky about her food so if she said it was excellent I am sure it is. read more

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING INSIDE! Four Brothers took the opportunity to renovate the interior which is something that was sorely needed. The outdated, tacky decor has been replaced with a fresh, modern, welcoming design. I was FLOORED when I saw this for the first time. It doesn't even look like the same place inside. Food was outstanding as always. I cannot rave highly enough about this. Greek salad was a rock-star, pizza was wonderful, and the side of meatballs pleased the crowd. I have been going to these restaurants since my friend introduced me when we were in high school (roughly 16 years ago, yikes) and it's still just as amazing. I was sad to hear the Poughkeepsie location closed, but excited to learn there was another location not too far. My friend and I came to the Pleasant Valley restaurant when I was up visiting recently. We of course had to go old school and order what we used to order: large pizza with fresh tomato and artichoke hearts, a large greek salad, and this time two glasses of red wine instead of two diet cokes. It was oh so good! Hit the spot, brought back memories and luckily we had leftovers so I could have some again the next day! And of course I left with a purchased bottle of their salad dressing. If you have to eat gluten-free, this is not the place for you. Tried musclan salad and I got iceberg lettuce. I hate iceberg lettuce. So the food was really good and I will come back. The reason I gave the space 3 stars and not 4 was the chicken parmigiana sub I got was on the dryer side. They also give you a pickle with the sandwich which is an odd combo but I didn't mind. How they packaged it was what I took a star off for. The placed the pickle directly on top of my sandwich which dill pickle and tomato sauce do not go well together. Next time I go I will ask for no pickle and extra sauce but they should consider maybe placing parchment paper between the pickle and sub so it's not leaking juice into the sandwich. Great Salads. I have gotten pizza, salad and many other dishes from Four Brothers in Amenia, Hillsdale, Dover and Pleasant Valley. I have recently been surprised (LAST 6 MONTHS OR MORE) how much their salads have improved. The salads are made to order with the freshest ingredients. I live very close to the Pleasant Valley location and have become a regular. The flowers and exterior has been improved and updated. The interior has been renovated and is very nice. read more

I grew up in Poughkeepsie but have since moved to Boston and at least every other time I'm home, I go here to enjoy the salad (usually bring a dressing back to MA with me!) and their pizza! Left questioning the authenticity of their pizza.. I will first let it be known I'm only rating this place for their pizza. I ordered a large plain pie, the best way to judge a place in my opinion. The only way I could be more certain this dough isn't homemade is if I were standing in the kitchen watching them. Just looking at the pizza I knew something was up. It looked like it was baked in a Pizza Hut pan, first red flag. It was cut into 12 slices, second red flag. There was a cardboard circle underneath the pie, like the kind you get when you buy frozen pizza. The dough had the taste and texture of Red Baron's French bread frozen pizzas, which are terrible. I was tempted to call them back and ask what brand dough they use so that I can avoid it going forward. I will absolutely never order pizza here again, what a mistake. read more

This was by far the WORST Margherita pizza and eggplant parm I've ever had in New York. The crust of the pizza is wanna be Pizza Hut. It's dry and tough and a total disappointment. Four Brothers offers the Platonic Form of a chicken Caesar wrap - the moist and tender, excellently flavored chicken is a delight. And the pizza's are excellent as well, including the chicken ranch and the available custom options. And not only is the Greek salad delightful, you can buy a bottle of dressing also. We ordered from here while playing a local college in a soccer match. They were accommodating to our order of 25 assorted grinders that we ordered at 3:30pm and needed for 9:00pm the same day. If you are lucky enough to find yourself near one of the Four Brothers restaurants, you should absolutely give them a try. Their pizza has a distinct taste that cannot be found anywhere else. And their Greek salad, with their own Greek dressing is amazing. You can even purchase bottles of their dressing to bring home. When we go (or order out), we usually get a plain or margarita pizza and a regular greek salad. For the two of us this gives us enough to eat and gives us a full meal of leftovers, which always seems just as good as the first time. read more
