Pomodoro's is one of my favorite stops when I am in town. I always sit at the bar and the service is always quick. The bartender Taylor is great. She's always working her butt off and still doesn't make me wait on a drink. I don't venture far from their pizza and wings. Wings are meaty, crispy, and tender. Unlike the Buffalo Wild Wings in cranberry with small dry wings that sit in a drawer and come out cold. You can tell this place is full of regulars based on the interactions with the bartenders who tolerate some of the "funny" drunks here. If you come to watch a game here they do have a pretty decent tv setup but could be better. Personally recommend the meat eaters pizza add jalapeño (Taylor rec I've claimed) and their hot garlic wings (they add Parmesan which isn't stated on the menu).

They were fast with delivery and the pizza is one of the best pizzas I've never had. I definitely recommend.

Pomodoro's Pizzeria and Ristorante has a dining room and a full-service bar. Please see my attached photos for the menu of foods. My husband and I visited Pomodoro's for a Saturday lunch. An employee told us that the restaurant itself was currently closed but that we could eat in the bar area. My husband and I headed over to the bar, and we saw several booths and several high-top tables. We chose a table on our own. Minutes later, our waitress greeted us, gave us menus, and took our order. After fairly reasonable waits, she brought out our drinks and foods. My husband ate wedding soup, which he described as "nice;" veal marsala, which he said was "good;" green beans, which he said were cooked nicely and were flavorful; and risotto, which he said contained a lot of vegetables. I ate chicken parmesan, which consisted of two large pieces of chicken that had a crispy breading, sauce, and cheese; and penne, which was cooked well and topped with a tasty sauce. During the meal, our waitress checked in with us to see if we needed anything. At the end of the meal, she promptly brought our bill and a box for my leftovers, and she accurately processed our credit card payment. She kindly thanked us and told us to have a good day. Overall, the service and food were very good, especially for a bar. I do recommend that local residents try out this restaurant. Furthermore, be sure to check out this restaurant's website for their specials, online reservations, online ordering, and group-catering ordering.

Seafood Diablo - Spicy vodka sauce

Pomodoro's offers family dining at reasonable prices. They have decent pizza and pasta and their wine prices are good ($9 average). We had excellent service and good food when we visited a few weeks ago on a Friday night. The dining room was pretty crowded but we got a table right away which was great. We ordered the Seafood Diablo pasta with vodka sauce and linguini and a pizza. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was just spicy enough to give it some kick. There were nice big scallops and tender shrimp in the dish. The only downside was a few large pieces of scallop shell that were hidden in the sauce and not pleasurable to chomp on. I would order it again but be more careful with possible shells. It was delicious. The pizza was piping hot when it came out and had a nice assortment of veggies on it. It was a very tasty pie. Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant.

    Ask the Community - Pomodoro's

    Does Pomodoro have good wings?

Yes! We always ask for our wings to be extra crispy and they do a good job of that. The sweet and spicy sauce is my favorite.

I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review to a (probably) local owner. After reading a bit…read moreabout the ownership, I learned that this Monte Cellos location was sold and is managed by a "Sonny." It was a Sonny I messaged. Our fb messenger interaction is screenshotted in pics. In short, we ordered online on Monday. The restaurant decided to close due to a storm the evening prior. I thought roads were perfectly clear so it never occurred to me that they'd be closed. We waited almost 2 hours before realizing they have to be closed. No VM message, online orders took, and $ withdrawn from the bank (reversed the next day). I was still craving Monte Cellos so we ordered on Tuesday. It took 75 min to get our food, and the order wasn't complete. We had been charged for 2 full dinners but received no soup or salad. I figured I'd call during day shift when manager is likely to be on site. I couldn't call until Thursday bc I was so busy in meetings on Wednesday. The manager with whom I spoke was rude and not at all helpful. He blamed me for waiting the extra day, said I could "cone get the soup," and refused a partial refund. As a Monte Cellos patron since we moved to PGH in 2013, I was so taken back by the attitude and lack of willingness to treat loyal customers like a business who cares about their loyal customers. This guy's attitude, when summed up in a statement, seemed to be,"screw you. I don't care. We got plenty of customers. It's all your fault." I was angry and very disappointed. We've had plenty of issues over the past 13 years, but nothing that warranted a phone call or even a mention until now. I asked for the manager on a local foodie site and Sonny messaged me. I believe it's reasonable to want a partial refund, especially when the manager is so confrontational about the issues. For my own business, I turn off scheduling online for my business when I'm not going to be there.. it's easy.. Their failure to turn off ordering seems less like an "oops, sry," and more like a middle finger to the customer and pure arrogance. Add to that the agreement to give so e refund but not following through warrants a 1 star review. This is literally my first one star for a non-corp restaurant. If I didn't do research, I wouldn't know this place is not related anymore to the actual Monte Cellos. If this was my first interaction w Monte Cellos, I sure wouldn't be back. I'll visit the other locations, but never again to Wexford unless something tremendous changes, like management or owner. When you read the msg chain, I'll readily admit to being mad. I felt gaslighted by the manager. I don't remember if it was Sonny on the phone or another name, I just know no refund was given and the lack of accountability was over the top.

Love updated interior and staff is always friendly & attentive. Unfortunately, today, many of the beer taps were empty & our food took quite a while to come out. It wasn't too crowded as there were still several seats available inside plus a bench outside, but I chose to eat outside because it was such a beautiful day. I really like the business model where you can grab a single slice and actually see the pizzas before choosing. Sometimes you just want a slice or two instead of committing to a whole pizza, and it's nice being able to mix it up. At $4 per slice, it also feels like a pretty good deal considering how large and filling the slices are. I do wish there had been a few more pizza options available at the counter, but I also understand I came later on a Monday evening. They toast the pizza again really quickly after you choose your slices, and I loved that extra toasted texture, especially on the tomato spinach pizza. I'm a fan of New York-style pizza in general because I like that foldable, crispy texture and the balance between the cheese and crust. Interestingly, the pepperoni slice felt pretty different from the tomato spinach one crust-wise. I personally preferred the thinner, crispier crust on the tomato spinach, but I also appreciated the variety and liked the more comforting feel of the pepperoni pizza. I also loved that they had Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes available to add on top. Since they already have a topping counter, I think it could be cool if they also offered things like banana peppers, hot sauce, chili oil, truffle oil, garlic oil, or balsamic on top to compliment the different pizza flavors.
