Pizza is some of the best in the Wexford area. The new bar area is nice as well. Service is hit or miss. It's hard to get someone to smile or not make you feel like you are bothering them. I always feel rushed when ordering take out on the phone so I use the online a lot. I know they are busy, and they have a lot going on between the dining room, kitchen, bar, and takeout...but it would be nice to not feel like you are bothering them when you place an order. I'm also not a "regular" so I sometimes have questions about items, and this also seems to bother them. Basically, food is great, atmosphere is great..lots of options (Outside, dining room, and bar) the cooks are consistent and put out some great stuff but you won't get that hometown/accommodating service here. So if you're good with that...get you some Pomodoro's. read more

Their restaurant is separated from their bar are (can still order food from the bar section) making it a great spot for families or happy hour with friends! The staff is always so friendly and it's a great spot to watch sports games at - they always have specials going on during games. I don't understand how this can be rated a 3.5 star. I have eaten there now 4 times and I don't understand it. first and foremost, this is a bar that happens to serve bar food aka sandwiches and pizza that tries to be more, but it is not. if you stick to pizza and sandwiches you will be ok. it is by no means a good Italian restauran. They don't even make their own meatballs. Enough said! They have several entrees on the menu, and they are by no means cheap! But it is just a pizza and bar joint trying to be more. Nothing is really home made. The bar restaurant area can get very very loud. As I've said I tried several of their entrees including the spaghetti bolognese and it was a very sad dish. Also had the clams n linguine equally as sad. Pizza was good. Tried the Chicago and it was very sad. So needless to say, we are done here. To many other places to go which are much much better. It is what it is, a bar that serves pizza and sandwiches. Nothing more. Again, not cheap and they done take care or pride in their food. Why the 3.5 stars is beyond me! read more

This is my go-to restaurant in the Wexford/Franklin Park area. We have gotten take out here frequently since moving close by and I've been happy with everything I've ordered! My favorite pasta dish is the linguine with Pomodoro Vodka sauce. The pizza and wings are also both really good. I normally get the antipasto salad and do think they could put a bit more lettuce and less meat in it, but it's still good! Take out and even delivery is always quick. I will never go back to this establishment. I was there for pick-up on Friday. Here's what I saw: 1.) They openly post they have 2 employees who cannot wear a mask because of medical reasons. However, at least one of those people were making your pizzas in the kitchen (which is visible). He was the guy throwing the pizza dough up in the air. 2.) It's all open air - the dining room, waiting room and kitchen. People in the dining room are not wearing masks (understandable), the people in the kitchen are not all wearing masks (#1) and the people coming in and out were not wearing masks that covered their noses. No one said anything to them. Even for takeout, they have people waiting in the lobby not wearing masks correctly and not standing 6 feet apart, and there is plenty of space outside to wait. It makes no sense. 3.) There seems to be no process for handling takeout orders. They post one sign on the ground that says to stand 6 feet apart with no verbal enforcement or direction. No signs on the ground for where to wait, no one giving direction where to stand safely or when your order will be ready. It literally seemed like they have not put any processes in place to safely deal with the pandemic. 4.) I waited 25 minutes at the restaurant waiting for them to hand me my takeout. When I placed the order, they had the gall to quote me an exact time I should be there to pick it up (5:55pm). 5.) Lastly, the pizza was terrible. Domino's is tremendously better. Save your money and support a local business that deserves to be in business. read more

The food here is really uneven. The pizza can sometimes be really good and sometimes really average. I've had good pasta (can't recall the dish), an awful burger and fries (all frozen foods), great pizza, blah pizza and really good appetizers. Tonight is a prime example. I ordered the Chicago Style, which was really good the last time I had it. This time, it was merely okay and contained random onions that weren't there before. Unfortunately, they were too strong and overpowered the rest of the slice. $18 down the tube. The delivery guys are always friendly, though they've messed up multiple times. The older lady at the counter can be a challenge as she seems to work a little slow. Everyone is very friendly though. I've only dined in once and it was okay service. My recommendation would be to go to Pizza Labella, which is 15 minutes farther away, but is ALWAYS excellent. I think I'm done with this place since I never know what I'm going to end up with, good food or average food (or the wrong food). read more

If you've been here, check your credit cards! My card was charged $25 for a $10 salad and it took nearly a week for them to give me a refund ( refund on the salad only, they didn't comp the salad, that bothers me ). We live close by , and frequent this lovely neighborhood restaurant . What is so nice is one side has a hopping bar with Pirates , Steelers & Pens games always streaming on the many TVS . There is also a quieter more relaxing dining room. Best of all the chef is amazing ! Authentic Italian dishes. ! My all time FAVORITE is Lemon Pollo.. A yummy chicken dish with flavor that will melt in your mouth ! Every night they offer a risotto .. Always terrific ! The sandwich , pizza and appetizer menu offers so many choices . Updated review: This is a full restrauant, pizza takeout, and bar with tv's. Casual throughout. Been there 2 times on a Saturday evening. Bar side was packed for 44 or so people at my count. But what makes it excellent was it was properly staffed -- 8-9 people working just the bar side alone. I am sure they sell enough to support having real staffing. Pizza was good, but not remarkable as pizza goes. Many designer beers on tap and in the refrigerator. Looks like this has emerged as a go to place and a locals place.
