This is a hidden, kitschy, tiny bar that you would pass by a million times without noticing. But if you're looking for it then you know what you've discovered. A number of people told me it reminds them of Japan, which is does, and it has that 70's vibe going, which almost reminds me of my grandma's house. The bar tenders kept to themselves as they serve 40 year yuppies overly priced cocktails. The beer prices are decent as you are a trapped audience of boojsh talking as if they were 21 year old punks. I came here by myself and I have to say, I felt like the bartenders did not want me there. Just kind of unfriendly. Very Williamsburg 2005 atmosphere. Like sulk in the corner with my bourbon type place. Pricey, albeit tasty mixed drinks. I feel $9 would be a more appropriate drink price for the very small size. I rode my bike right by here at first..but if you look for the address on the building its pretty easy to spot! I really like this bar..its small and cozy with some really fun decor. Kinda funky 70s style. Old chairs, couches, and bar stools. They have a record player and a ton of old vinyl too. They had some pretty decent beers on tap. A limited release from BSB, an awesome Czech Pilsner, and a few other decent beers. They also have a good amount of cans/bottles as well. The mixed drink menu looked solid too but my friends and I all stuck with beers. The bartender was really nice and she made some nice recommendations to my friends that didn't know what beer they were in the mood for. Pretty simple but fun place. You walk into a room decorated with old records, airport furniture, huge comfy armchairs, and awesome art all over the walls Past the bar area is an art gallery space that features art by rotating artists. I really wanted to love this place but the beertender was so rude. I asked for the Beryls Citrus IPA and got a very non hoppy malty beer. I told them it didn't fit the description and the beertender told me that I knew more about beer than he did and then I settled for a canned beer. Yes I do know about beer and that certainly was not a citrus IPA and knowing that it wasn't you could have been more nice about it than being a jerk about it. Threw my whole experience off here and there are plenty of other of bars to go to in Denver. I won't be back. Horrible customer service and thanks for making me want to leave a full beer behind because you made it so uncomfortable that I had to leave and go somewhere else. read more

The only reason I became interested in this place is because it reminds me of the little bars strewn all over the Shibuya district in Tokyo Japan. Its tiny, with cute 70's decor. It's quiet and made comfortable by all the couches etc. The bar staff are all really friendly. Drinks are a bit pricey, but thats ok. I plan to frequent here lots. read more

Terrible bar. They added money on my tip after I paid the bill. Not only is that bad business but that is stealing. I will not return to this bar and I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you like paying for 9 dollar drinks and 11 dollar shots just to have them steal more of your money after you leave. The scene is cool, but the experience was so odd. When the DJ came on, it was so deafeningly loud that we had to scream to talk. There were 2 bartenders, neither of them really knew what they were doing. My friend asked for a cocktail and the bartender actually said to him, "I'm not a mixologist, I'm a bartender." When I asked for scotch on the rocks with a splash of water, he asked me, "a splash is just a little bit, right?" I mean come on. WOW, I freak-went (lol) this bar all the time. Pon Pon is the cat's Meow Meow lol. Their Europe-trained mixologists are basically sorcerers of sophistication... and libation (lol)! I always order a cosmopolotican and my friend always orders a vanity fair, and basically no one else knows how to make a vanity fair, and this bar is soooo exclusive! And sometimes I get a Frappuccino! The DJ's are the best! OMG they spin (lol) the AWESOMEST, MOST DANCY records (LOL RECORDS?!?!) the type that really cool- or really hot! Lol- ppl are in to, like cold play, ODB, 90's gangster and disco, the Sex People, and I heard this new band the other day who I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Undertones who they told me cover the one direction song Teenage Kicks! And they are so friendly they will just play anything I want them to play, and they will let me play with the records, and pour-pour (lol) my drink all over the turntables and slip and slide all over the floors when I am really lushed-out! OMG did I say how hot the bartenders are, especially tall dark and cutie with the round glasses! He has these kinda soft, dead eyes that just make me melt all over! He's my man!
