Great pub with a great authentic English atmosphere. Excellent staff and service. Would be a great place to watch the upcoming world cup.

2.5 stars... Touring the art museum with family and this joint was right up the street. Authentic British pub atmosphere and if you like whisky this is your joint. House made brews on draft, sampled a few and went with the Scottish ale but it fell flat lacking the proper spice and carbonation level. Started out with a salad, tossed in a balsamic dressing which was a bit heavy. Opted for the bacon cheese burger which was slightly overdone, but came with good fries. Ambiance is authentic stuffy pub, prices are in line with the area, and service was average. Didn't have a great visit, but might have been a fluke as I see many good reviews. read more

What a fun place! When you walk in it feels like London and not in a cheesy way. The high top tables are surprisingly comfortable. There are T.V.s so you can enjoy a whisky from anywhere in the world and catch a game. The servers are nice but need to refill the water more. The food is really good. The fries are really yummy, crispy and greasy. I had the chicken sandwich and it was really good, the fried onions were the key! I'll be back! read more

I should have walked away when I smelled the stench of mold when I walked in the door. They are definitely not into cleaning at all. As I looked around it is obvious no one cares. The place was a bit quiet on a Sunday mid-afternoon. This place was recommended to me awhile ago and I didn't have a chance to visit until now. I ordered cider and a side of chips. The peach cider was recommended by my waitress and it was delicious. It reminded me of ice wine. I would come back again to try other items on their menu. read more

We loved this place. This is an authentic English pub-cheese and all. The make tasty Bloody Mary. The take reservations. Awesome atmosphere. I had some lox and rye bread as an appetizer. Brian had a banger burger and salad. Our server (Anthony) was knowledgeable and friendly. He guided us through the menu. There are many choices for beer and they offer samples. Bathrooms are on top floor and they were clean. Unfortunately, this is not a handicap accessible establishment-I would have given it five stars otherwise. Parking is on the street. read more

The place is OK generally speaking, the overhead lighting is a bit harsh, but the atmosphere otherwise it is kind of cool and true to British vibe. The reason my visit was quite disappointing. Is the fish and chips is not at all traditional British fish and chips. After talking to the waiter it sounds like this is a very common complaint because what you get is more like a small grilled fish salad. But instead of changing their menu to what it sounds like most people want to expect, they're sticking to their guns and selling this very mediocre version of fish and chips read more

Walked by the place on the way to the Kroskindle Christmas Market about a month ago. The outside is aesthetic and invites people inside for an authentic experience. After several weeks, we did visit the restaurant. The inside is equally as aesthetically pleasing as the outside. The service was good, the one staff member was doing her absolute best to serve all 4 tables in attendance, one of which had 7 construction workers. Please understand that this review is a 2 out of 5 for the food only. The menu is very small which leads me, as the customer, to feel like all options are good options. However, the price for each of the dishes were ordered, Bangers and Mash & Sheepherder's Stew, we're not cheap, and both were subpar. The sheepherders stew, specifically, was presented as some sort of concoction that looked and tasted bland. I compare it to the taste of bland vegetable soup. It was thick to the point of being vegetables and meat chunks with sauce on top. Needless to say, we left unsatisfied. I'm not sure that we will be back to eat dinner, but happy hour and bar food could present a better experience. read more

I stopped in last week with my niece for lunch after a library trip. This spot is a neighborhood staple. They offer a variety of pub food, whiskeys and you guessed it.. pints. This is a British pub and the decor makes you feel like you're tucked into a little pub in a British village. My niece and I split the club sammy. It was a great portion and came with shoestring fries. We downed all the food in short order. I would have taken pics except I was distracted by the fireman that came in to shut off an alarm that was malfunctioning. Too bad that isn't a regular feature on the menu! read more

So impressed! This is an Irish pub that was so charming! The food was amazing! I've never seen such a huge sandwich in my life! Chicken, bacon, cheese and avocado. I had the curry albacore salad and it was outstanding! I asked for the sesame dressing and it was to die for! Even our waitress had an Irish accent. Scottish Salmon with a wasabi onion mustard sauce! WOZA! One of the best things I ever had in my life. We remember this place like it was yesterday. We had so much fun here & we met some great people too. The food was AMAZING !!! We also had a Salisbury steak burger served open faced with mushroom gravy & swiss cheese OMG! 2.Die.4! And it was cooked perfectly. Hubby also has some lamb kabobs with balsamic vinegar, lemon, mustard & rosemary. Phenomenal! We washed it all down with some Dry Bookers Gin G&T's! Yeah! We talk about this place all the time. Hubby even bought a RED T-shirt with their logo that he LOVES & wears all the time. We can't wait to get back here. What a great experience at Pints Pub! The bar itself is amazing to look at with all the bottles of Scotch on tap. We met 1.5 dozen friends for lunch one afternoon. Seating was comfortable but it would have been amazing if they could have put us all at one table or upstairs to mingle more. Anyway, the food was good: salads very fresh and tasty. The beer delicious also. A sample available if you ask. The Turkey on the salad is deli turkey. Why do restaurants not use real turkey? Think how much more amazing that would be! We recommend this place to any scotch drinker out there. read more

Good neighborhood place to hang out with friends. Service is always great, martinis made to perfection and the food I've had there was good also. We always had to order the cheese and crackers platter for the heck of it. Just a massive lavosh cracker with sliced dill havarti and slices of apple on top. Interesting spot. It's a little rundown, but I guess that's part of the charm. Our server was absolutely amazing and a riot. For food, my friends and I tried the crisps and the bisto chips. Good flavor on both and they went well with the drinks. I had a couple of snake bites (stout mixed with cider) and one of my friends tried the pineapple cider. She noted that the pineapple flavoring was a little too artificial tasting. We switched to mixed drinks after and they know how to pour (wink, wink)! Only thing keeping me from 5 stars as it was a little pricey and parking is a little challenging. Love their fish and chips! Healthy and doesn't make me feel guilty eating it. It's a grilled salmon with nice char lines and side salad with fries. Been coming here for years and the food is always good. When I come with my co-workers or friends, they always like it. And the servers are friendly. Lisa is the best. Come by and check them out. Lots of brews too. And hard liquor. Parking available in small private lot shared with Dozen's. I know people think the fish and chips with grilled salmon is strange but I love it. Tastes good and good for you to boot. Check out their liquor 'cabinet' made out of a phone booth. And outside the restaurant is another phony booth. It's so quaint. The atmosphere was good, and it was easy to get a table. However, my food was terrible. Don't order the Shepherd's Stew. It was supposed to be lamb, but I have no idea what the meat was. The meat had no flavor; it was tough, stringy, and dry--I have no idea how meat in a stew gravy can be dry, but it was like eating fibrous string. And the serving was tiny (a little more than a cup) for $20! I told the server the meat was horrible and asked her to tell the chef. She told me she had mentioned it to the kitchen. She DID NOT take the meal off the check or offer me an alternative meal, perhaps because I had eaten the salad and bread. The person I was with has bangers and mash. He liked his food. The portion was also tiny. When I got home, I made sandwiches because we were starving. If I ever go to this bar again, I won't be having food. read more

I have to say I don't often write reviews and truly don't like writing negative reviews. But here goes. My wife and I ate here in the evening after 8 pm. The place was very empty so we were greeted promptly and sat quickly. The waitress was attentive to our needs and took our orders once we were ready. My wife ordered the sheep herders stew which was very tough and hard to chew (another google review mentioned this as well and the lack of taste and it wasn't lamb. It did not seem like lamb to us either and we prepare and eat lamb often). I ordered the fish and chips but the fish was a cooked salmon cut, not even breaded (again another google review said this as well) for this being a traditional British pub this should have been a highlite with malt vinegar and a nice Tatar sauce. As we were eating my wife gasped and told me to turn and look. There was a mouse wandering under the table by the wall behind us. We told the waitress about the mouse and she said they know they have them there, but it's an old building and they are around. She mentioned they do try to get rid of them. As we were talking to her a second mouse came out and went to where the other mouse had gone, all three of us watched this. The crazy thing is these two mice went slowly, they were not concerned at all we were there. Mice will move quickly at the site of people. This was the moment my wife literally gave up eating her meal with our conversation transitioning to where else the mice might be going (kitchen, chairs, etc). It became tough for me to finish my meal as well. To the credit of the waitress, she could tell we were both distraught at our dining experience and she did comp half the bill. This is a plus because an older review said they did not get any comp. We did pay the bill and quietly walked out not feeling satisfied at all and nobody even noticed we left or gave a final apology. In a prior review from another experience the writer mentioned the mice that two people did see them and the owner wrote them back saying the don't have mice. That was a poor response to that customer who immediately wrote back on that denial. If we do get a response to this review, please don't deny the mice are there and continue to try to rectify the matter. You do have a unique setting as a pub, but keep it clean of the mice and go back to original fish and chips. The beer was tasty but again lost its appeal knowing about the mice and hygiene. We are really struggling as to whether to come back. read more

Classic British pub if you're craving that kind of vibe. I've been here several times because it's just down the street from a friend's place and always has seating. Street parking can be a bit of a challenge though. You might have to walk a block or two. Great spot for ciders or ales. Their one or two IPA selections are served warm because I guess that's a thing. My friends and I always get their crisps. They're basically fancy salt & vinegar chips. My mouth waters just thinking about them. I've also had the pork loin for dinner (sad I lost the picture) but it was surprisingly delicious! Especially with the mashers and onion gravy. There are a few other things I want to try on the menu, knowing I'll come back again and again. Service has always been friendly and straightforward in my opinion. I haven't ventured into trying the scotches on their wall or even chilling at the bar, but all the décor is fascinating to look at, no matter where you're seated. My buddy wanted traditional Fish&Chips. They don't have it. I don't care how old your building is, you build a fry kitchen out back or modify your building so that it can accommodate a fryer. I've been vaguely meaning to come here for years, I'm glad I finally did! Not exactly traditional pub fare: the fish & chips is proudly neither cod nor fried, and half the menu is various burgers. But a reasonable Denver overlay on the core concept. And the burgers were delicious, as was the beer (mostly British styles) made in house. All at very reasonable prices. The extensive whiskey menu was impressive and clear, with flights to make it approachable. The location is a surprising building near downtown and museums but also immediately among an ocean of parking lots, very nicely done inside. read more

It could be that we were really in the mood for traditional fish and chips, and they don't serve them. I guess I had forgotten that. Not any fault of their own, as I guess the building is historic and can't accommodate the fryer that it would take, but I just wasn't super excited about the fish I did get. Stopped by on a fluke after visiting the Still museum. Got there during the week at 11AM and was greeted by a waitress with a thick British accent. The first thing I noticed was that the bar had the bottles hanging like the ones in London...bottles upside down. The wooden interior screamed British pub with photos, flags, dart board and a bar billiard table. I was quickly shown to a seat and looked over both the beer and food menu. They had a number of UK style beers and I settled on a Scottish one. Dark and robust it hit the spot. They also had an extensive collection of single malt scotch. The menu had a number of British favorites but leaned heavy toward the burgers. I ended up with the Sheepherder's Stew which is a lamb stew with potatoes, peas and carrots. Prices were reasonable and my stew came with a side salad with authentic and chunky blue cheese dressing and a couple of rolls to help sop the stew. The stew itself was great. It was spicy and savory and thick and hearty. I was quite full after I finished it. The food was about $15, super cheap and satisfying. I paid my bill and went on my way. 3.5/5 for the food & 5/5 for their decor! My Lamb Stew was a big disappointment with a couple chewy pieces with a ton of potatoes that wasn't fully cooked, so it wasn't as soft as I wanted. The Stew was nicely flavored with alcohol cooked out of it & they make their own dinner roll! My hubs Burger on the other hand was perfectly made - slightly pink. The shoestring fries were not very good, so that's why I encouraged him to get a salad instead. I thought their smoked salmon App. Was overpriced- 4 to 5 pieces that came with a dip. My hubs liked his whiskey flight - it represented different countries in addition to giving him a small amount of water on the side to tone down the intensity. I got an overpriced sauvignon Blanc- their menu isn't updated. I saw $9 on the menu and was charged $10 - beaware of that & again, I am not a complainer so I let it slide. I was in town for the Rock and Roll Marathon, killing time while my other-half was napping. I find this quaint little Pub downtown. The ambience was exactly what you would expect to see in an English Pub. They had great cask ales on tap and a large menu of whiskeys from all over the UK. The staff was polite and attentive.
