Ponce City Market is definitely worth checking out if you're in Atlanta. The building itself is beautiful, blending historic charm with a modern industrial feel, and it's a fun place to spend a few hours. That said, I expected more food options since it was highly recommended and often compared to Chelsea Market in New York City. While there are some great places to eat, the selection wasn't as extensive as I had imagined. The shops are also somewhat limited, but there are still a few unique local businesses worth browsing. My favorite part was the Citizens Market , where several local vendors are all in one space. It was a great way to sample different local offerings. Another bonus is its location right next to the Atlanta BeltLine. After exploring the market, you can take a walk along the trail and discover even more shops, restaurants, public art, and neighborhoods nearby. Parking can get busy, especially on weekends, but it's still worth a visit if you're exploring Atlanta. While it didn't quite live up to my expectations, I'm glad I stopped by and would recommend checking it out at least once. read more

The market itself is nice, there are some higher end stores as well as some unique places to shop around at. The food hall/food court is great but a little something is missing for me. They have a lot of options from Mexican to Burgers and most things in between. For me, it did feel a little like every individual stall was trying too hard to be something unique which I felt actually took away from the appeal a bit. A few, much more normal, options would go a little way to making it have a better vibe in my book. There's an impressive range of food, across styles, pricing, and experiences. The fact that the Rooftop requires a entry substantial fee -- and then once you get up there, all the activities require MORE payment -- was disappointing. I'd understand a small fee, but on a hot sunny day, I wasn't going to spend enough time up there to make it worthwhile. read more

I stopped by Ponce City Market while exploring Atlanta and it quickly turned into quite the experience, definitely a spot you could easily spend a few hours between shopping and eating without realizing it. The market sits inside a massive historic building that once operated as a Sears warehouse. The industrial character still shows through with exposed brick, steel beams, and high ceilings that make the entire space feel open and airy. It has the energy of a busy food hall mixed with a shopping market. You can wander from stall to stall, grab something to eat, browse a few shops, and keep moving. I especially love the Asian section. Upstairs there is even a rooftop entertainment area, which adds to the whole "day out" experience. I saw Anthropologie, Glossier, Nike, J.Crew, Levi's, Madewell and Olfactory just to name a few stores. Food options are one of the biggest draws here. The hall is filled with vendors offering everything from Asian dishes to Italian comfort food and Cuban flavors. If you are in a group everyone can order something completely different and still sit together at the shared tables scattered throughout the space. Seating is spread across the market and the open layout keeps it from feeling too cramped, even when it gets busy. Service depends on the individual vendor, but most spots move at a pretty steady pace. The common areas appeared maintained and the market overall feels clean and organized despite the constant foot traffic. The Food We tried the JIA Tasty China and Bibi Persian Eatery. Both restaurants were okay for casual quick dining. JIA also offered lunch special. Parking around the market is paid, so it is something to factor in when planning your visit. Ponce City Market works well when you want options. They had a large selection which was nice but they also don't allow you to sample. Which was unfortunate bc my sister didn't end up liking the beer she selected. I went to Ponce City Market with a friend, and we had such a nice time. I showed him the rooftop where you get this stunning view of the city skyline. We took a little tour, grabbed a cocktail, and just enjoyed the vibe up there. It started raining after a bit, so we had to head inside, but overall, it's always a refreshing, enjoyable experience. Visited 3 March 2026 Arrived around midday. Based on reviews of the Beltline, this was the best place to park. The parking entrance goes to the lower level. The spots are narrow and the turns are a bit tight. Parking is for a fee using an app according to the website, but I did not see that app/qr info but once parked, it was easy to access the street and upper level businesses. It was not busy at all and we were able to find parking quickly. The facility was clean and well lit. Our main purpose was to walk the Beltline, but we did browse some of the eateries inside. There is a wide selection to satisfy whatever you crave. I did not check the hours, but I think it would be a nice night time scene. I would go back and spend more time inside. read more

Beyond just being the go-to interstitial for every Atlanta-based Bravo TV show, Ponce City Market is something to behold and experience. It's big. Impressive. Well-appointed. And full of every sort of eating/drinking/shopping experience you & your group could want. Even with its appeal to tourists, I'd have to imagine that locals* regularly patronize the building (and shops within). I came here with a huge group on an overcast Wednesday in mid-spring. Lots of people. Lots of agendas. Everyone was sated. Why? Because PCM is home to a bevy of experiences. I really enjoy repurposed old warehouses. From the sweeping ceilings to the ironwork to the beautiful old wood, they're reminders of why some things are meant to be kept and protected -- even when the old shell reveals something new inside. I detached from my group and went feral. I was here to eat but I wanted to explore. I did some window shopping and people watching. I attempted to access the roof but I needed a ticket or some such nonsense (Atlanta still has to Atlanta). But if you have the time and patience to get a ticket, you should check it out. I eventually settled on dinner and dessertS (reviews to come) and enjoyed every bite. There's a reason why PCM is a part of external-facing media when it comes to Atlanta. And I'm pleased to report that it acquits itself nicely. Even if it's out of your way and/or not in your plan to visit, make the time to do so. I think you'll be happy that you did. *I do understand the annoyance at parking issues being a deterrent to visiting. That struggle is real and universal. read more

I've been wanting to visit this site for years. Every time I drove by, they are adding additional stores and restaurants. I also love that the location is on the belt line. Mass street art and decor. You can spend more than a day here. You have the markets, retail stores, and restaurants all in one. My fiancée and I went more for the restaurants. We walked around and finally saw an Italian joint we wanted to try for lunch. It was great! Parking can be tricky. They are scattered all over the place. There's parking lots however they get taken very quickly. Then you have paid parking garages. We ended up going to the garage and the fee at the time was $12.00 for a couple of hours. Being from Atlanta, I'm ashamed to say that this is the first time I visited Ponce City Market. We actually came to do a walk along the Beltline. I got input from friends that still live in Atlanta that you should avoid this area at all costs on the weekend so we went on a Monday morning. We parked in the parking deck, which wasn't too badly priced, only $5 for two hours. Before embarking on our walk, we went into the market for coffee and I am absolutely stunned at how beautifully done it is. There are so many shops and boutiques that I would like to come back to explore, and the food options looked really good. They had it decorated for the holidays and what I thought was an artificial garland on the beautiful stairways was actually magnolia cuttings. They looked so beautiful and I thought it was such a great use of the cuttings. I didn't take a picture of it but I'm wishing now that I did. All of the little restaurants were set up so nice with design components that fit directly into the architecture. Color me impressed. I went to PCM for the first time this year. I heard that lots of businesses had closed and new ones were coming soon. I visited after work on a Friday night and it was busy. I saw lots of teenagers celebrating prom and the general vibe was people ready to get out, shop, and dine. Self parking was difficult, but valet was also available. We were in the food hall for our niece and nephew to go to a pasta making class at one of the restaurants. While they were away we decided to try some beer and wine and food. We went to the Tap on Ponce for drinks. Two ordered the wine which was a nice size pour, one canned beer, and myself one of their keg beers. The cab wine was nice, but my draft beer had been in the keg for a while. Kind of a flat favor. Disappointed because I like the brewery IPA. For some food we ordered from El Super Pan. I was recently visiting a friend in Atlanta and we wanted to try this place out. Ponce City Market is a pretty cool spot in Atlanta. It's a market filled with shops and eateries. They even have a City Winery here. During a recent visit to Atlanta, my friend and I wanted to kill some time, so we went here to hang out. We walked around, checked out the shops, and enjoyed some gelato from Honeysuckle Gelato. There are seating areas indoors and outdoors. Since it was a nice day, we spent a good amount of time sitting outside people watching. I have not been here in a minute. I actually liked it better when you could put your tag in the kiosk before the underground parking which requires a app or parking at Kroger and having to walk down. Last time I was in this area when I visited The City Winery for the great show with Music SoulChild with a girlfriend of mine in 2022. Probably the most outstanding Food Hall I've been to, especially from the vibe it gives. Once you get in you feel like you're in an old factory building which is cool however then you have tons of food/drink options to choose from, all of which seem amazing. If you're in the mood for some shopping there's a few stores to peruse. This place was popping when we came but it was a nice atmosphere and super fun, Ponce backs onto the ATL Beltline walking trail. What a cool spot--and an awesome example of how to repurpose existing buildings in a creative and meaningful way. I really loved the historical booths sprinkled throughout; they tell the story of the building's past and give a nice glimpse into what it used to be. Parking was a bit confusing, though. There wasn't much signage pointing toward the mall and food hall, so it took a minute to figure out where to go. Turns out, most stairs and elevators will get you there--it just wasn't obvious at first. We visited during a weekday lunch, and the food hall had a good crowd of people on their lunch breaks. It was lively but not so packed that we couldn't find a table. The variety of food is impressive, with options ranging from different cultural cuisines to snacks, bakeries, and sweet treats. One thing that would help is a more visible map or directory of the restaurants--since they're somewhat spread out in different sections, you can easily miss a few if you're not exploring. We ate at El Super Pan and loved it--delicious Latin dishes! There are seating options both indoors and outdoors, and outside there's even a direct connection to the Atlanta Beltline, which is super convenient if you're biking in.
