These people are the worst in recycling business. Very unethical, dishonest and fraudulent. Their…read morescales are often not zeroed but usually -7 lbs purposely. When you ask to zero they often ignore as if they can't speak English. This younger guy purposely enters like 50-100 less and often changes the rate weight if empty basket or cart. I will report these people to Fullerton Police, BBB and everywhere I can. I will never go there again. I already pre-sorted the basics, but wasn't aware of some of the other stuff that needed to be taken out. Luckily, the 2 guys there were SUPER patient in explaining to me the differences of materials, how we're sorting it, and what they offer for each. My only gripe is that if you have a large haul and need to park near the sorting area, good luck. The entrance sort of shares the same one with the next door gas station, so it can get clogged if a person is parked. Otherwise, if no one's around, you're good. There is parking in the back if needed

Also the residents of Anaheim should file a class action lawsuit against this recycling center who has no professionalism, lack of business code of conduct and ethical standards and practice and also putting humans health in danger and pose a serious health risk to all who have come here to turn in their cans and plastic. Your infectious disease recycling center should be consider a contaminated toxic environment which those who work and run the place need to be shut down for participating in unethical behavior that has caused biological consequences to even being near your site. The stench of a dumpster that's been in the heat for years without being cleaned obviously all party's involve with gloves owner, workers know if they touch those bins they know it contains biological waste that touching it would cause harm to the public. You have no right to be open for business and nor should you ever be able to run a business anywhere after seeing how you operate this site. I do know how you people sleep at night knowing that your defrauding the community and when ask to weigh a bin you only told me how much weight there is on the bin. That means you're not even ethical enough to allow your customer to see what your tear is on the bin when ask. When was the last time that weight machine was calibrated and checked to see if it was accurate. This was no trick to the trades kinda day. You also are set in a area where you can easily be trapped by all these other people who look out for this location because of their other ghost business which does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that the employee and other associations are obvious that by the grace of god in which I shall prey is that hopefully the light from above will burn through your wicked behavior!

I do not recommend this recycling center. I came in with 6-7…read moregarbage bags of crushed up bottles (crushed so that I could fit more in a bag) and only got around 18$. I recycle very often (since I was 8) and I know that about each garbage bag fetches me about 4$. I was shorted more than a 1$ per bag. Each trip with the same amount of bags usually gives me minimum 25$. Of course, it's very easy to scam a younger looking girl so I'll give them that. The good and unique aspect here is that the owner replies through text in case you have any questions. I'll give you a star for that. To be honest, there are a lot of places who aren't very honest. If you are still deciding to pick this place or not, thinking about this kept me up at night since I'm still kinda mad about it. I have never felt so scammed before in my life lol I highly recommend sunset recycling. Bit of a drive but worth the extra couple of miles (dollar of gas from 25 mpg) to gain several more dollars. And a peace of mind. I'll keep looking around for another good one.

So I asked the customer service rep what does that mean because I see my neighbors with the lid open and "overflowed" and theirs gets picked up. My lid has also been open in the past and got emptied. There is no consistency or clear definition of what "overflowed" means. Can't believe the great city of La Palma has this company with no customer service values representing them
