I've had a 14' aluminum pergola, which I never installed, so I chopped it up in 5' pieces and loaded everything into my SUV. It took me two trips, and i needed to load everything onto metal carts, and the friendly employees assisted me weight the products. Overall, I'm satisfied. I cleared out the scrap from my yard, have less cluster, and recycled a product for a better environment.

You can pack it all back up.... Its was nearly 1000lb of copper they decided wasn't copper and knew I wouldn't want to load that all back up. Unreal criminal crooks. They are copper heat exchangers all day every day from pool heaters not bronze or brass or whatever else they wanna call it that day. The worker was very helpful and friendly. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes & made $6. It may not seem much but as my mom would always say, "De poquito en poquito se llena el jarrito" which in English it means "Little by little the jar is filled" (sounds better in Spanish). Overall value is ok, but more importantly I'm doing my part in making sure recyclables don't end up in the trash. With the money I'll earn from recycling I'm going to get a box and work on filling it with the $ I earn from my next recycling visits & maybe use that money towards a future adventure or have it go to savings. We drive there, he stops the car, takes out our bag of recyclables and we get the cash on the spot. They give you a receipt too. We only ever recycle bags of drinks cans and bottles here so I can't comment too much about recycling other goods but if we were going to give it to someone else or just toss it out, the tens of dollars we do get after months of collecting is worth it for the convenience of it all. So in my opinion, pretty worth it for the amount of goods recycled and little effort needed.
