While on a family vacay, we drove by and saw this colorful restaurant/food truck and decided to…read morestop. The window you order from is covered and there are picnic tables and chairs outside to sit in. When we got to the window we were greeted and the staff was nice. They answered all of our questions and were patient with us. I ordered the Cajun shrimp tacos and a carne asada taco, with rice and beans. It came to $25 which felt kinda expensive. The tacos had good flavor, the carne asada was tender. I enjoyed the Cajun shrimp tacos the most. The shrimp was a good texture and tasted good. I'm not a fan of corn tortillas, so I threw those away and just ate the meat with the rice. In the town alot of restaurants and stores are in the same area within just a few minutes of each other. This food truck is right in front of the water park, so if you get lost look for the slides. I'd come here again. Check them out!!

An extensive vegetarian menu yielded for me some fajitas which delivered a fresh taste, came with a spicy salsa, and were quite filling. They also had some quinoa dishes. I tried to order a chocoflan and was told they were out of it; the fact that they did have a tres leches cake was framed almost as a disappointment by them. Nonetheless, I went ahead and ordered it and it was not particularly disappointing. There was a modicum of cheese in my entree but would be easy to omit for those in need. Given the finite options available on the island for those with special dietary needs, the willingness of this place to fill that niche and the quality of food they use to fill it were a big win for me.

Want melty cheese? Having a Meltdown is the place to go!…read more Most of their menu is grilled cheese, but they also have quesadillas and mac n' cheese. I've been a couple times and if you hit them up off peak hours, food can be ready in 10 minutes. Otherwise, be ready to wait with all the other folks here to get their cheese on. Every sandwich I've ever gotten here was OOZING with cheese. They don't skimp, which I love (my wife finds it overkill, but to each their own). The Four Cheese Melt is a cheese-lover's best grilled cheese. The Philly Cheese is solid. On our last visit, we went with spicy grilled cheeses: -Kick in the Can - this take on a jalapeño popper was delicious. They did not skimp on the pickled jalapeños either! Nice and spicy and also included bacon, cream cheese, and cheddar. -Slap in the Mouth - this Buffalo chicken sandwich was nice with plenty of buffalo sauce, chicken, blue cheese, and mozzarella. My only complaint is that they chicken was in huge chunks rather than diced up, so some bites were a little more chicken-forward than well-balanced. But if that's my only complaint, this is a solid sandwich indeed. The mac n' cheese was solid, with a nice bit of garlic to it. Child #1 got the Oodles of Noodles grilled cheese, which had this grilled cheese in it. A delightfully cheesy bundle of carbs! Waffle fries were solid accompaniment, would get again. Overall great place for celebrating melty cheese; you won't be disappointed!

Second half of Reuben. Red tint is from the covered outdoor seating. Nice to have some shad while eating.
