They got us in the day I called and provided expert recommendations for our dogs who have been patients there and have stayed at the kennel over the years. The kennel team came to say good bye to them as well. After their passing we got sympathy cards with hand written notes in them and then a beautiful bouquet. While it's been a difficult time their kind words, professional guidance and compassion has helped us.

Unfortunately, I feel the quality of care has declined significantly, and it now seems to be more about money than quality care. In February, I took one of my dogs in for a dental cleaning and to have a fatty lump removed from under his belly. Before the procedure, he did have knee issues that would occasionally cause his kneecaps to slip, and I was fully aware of that. However, after the surgery, he was never the same. He struggled to stand, walk, and get around in ways he never had before. I brought him back to the clinic multiple times after his procedure because I was concerned about the dramatic change. Each time, I was told it was due to his knees. I explained that, while he had pre-existing knee problems, his condition had changed drastically after the procedure. I also had the main doctor at the hospital evaluate my dog and hear my concerns, but I felt my concerns were dismissed. This morning, I had to take my baby to another vet and make the heartbreaking decision to let our boy go because his quality of life had declined so severely, and he had a really rough night. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I couldn't allow him to continue suffering. I'm not writing this to bash anyone. I just wish the quality was still there so animals didn't have to suffer, especially after I had taken him back multiple times after the procedure and explained that multiple people agreed he was never like this until afterward. I showed videos of how his legs would swing in, which was not happening before surgery. I also had to keep providing him with pain medication. I'm simply sharing my personal experience because I believe other pet owners should be aware of the care being given and make informed decisions. Sadly, I no longer have confidence in the level of care I once received here. I honestly feel it's all about the money and trying to get as many clients in and out as possible, and I also feel their prices have become high. I hope no other family has to experience what we did.

Keep your animals safe by avoiding this company!…read more We have been loyal customers of Lilo's Mobile Pet Spa for three years, which makes this experience even more upsetting! During my dog's appointment, I came outside to walk my other dog and heard something yelling from the grooming van. I stood near the truck and heard the groomer repeatedly screaming at my dog in Spanish because he was not sitting still. The yelling became louder and longer, and she sounded clearly frustrated and aggressive. When I walked toward the front of the van to see what was happening, she closed the window so I could no longer see inside. I knocked on the van and asked why she was screaming at my already scared dog. She suddenly pretended she could not speak English, even though she had been speaking English with me. She eventually admitted that she had been yelling and called her manager. I also spoke with the manager, who defended the groomer's behavior and did not apologize or make any real effort to resolve the situation. I told them the only way the appointment would continue was if she finished with the van door open, because I could not see what she was doing to my dog, or she needed to give him back to me. She refused to finish and gave me my dog back. They also refused to let me speak to corporate or anyone other than Claudia who was completely unhelpful and never apologized. Grooming can be difficult, and dogs may be scared or uncooperative, but repeatedly screaming at an animal out of frustration is completely unacceptable and unprofessional and clearly is not going to help. After trusting this company with my dogs for three years, I am now left wondering how animals are treated when their owners cannot see or hear what is happening inside the van. I'm also wondering if my dog has been abused in the past. Based on what I personally heard and witnessed along with managements unprofessionalism I will never use this company again and strongly recommend keeping your pets away from them!

Unbeknownst to me, instead of a nail "trim", he quicked my dogs nails. This is a brutal procedure and most vets will not do it. Before this happened, I had never heard of quicking. If he had told me what he was going to do, I would have never allowed it. When my dogs nails started growing in, one of them is split into 3 sections and looks like a peeled banana. It's red and swollen and all the fur is gone. For the last couple of weeks she can't even walk. Because her toe has gotten progressively worse, we called Dr. Rubio to schedule an appointment, so this could get taken care of and to my surprise, he said he won't treat my dog and to take her somewhere else. He said she would need surgery, but he himself does surgery! Why won't he treat my dog???? Her toe was fine before he did this procedure and now he won't even see her and try to help her! It's not like I asked for free services or even a discount. I just want my dog to be herself again, so I don't care how much it costs! ( and trust me, this guy is expensive!) I will be filing a complaint with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners this afternoon. I'm also going to contact an attorney. Vets have a standard of care to follow too. In my 58 years and countless pets, this is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a veterinarian. This buisness' moto is, "We treat your pets like family". Well, sir, if that's true, I feel very sorry for your relatives. BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU LET THIS GUY TREAT YOUR PET!

I had no idea where to go since I'm not from here but I found Fuzzy Tails on Yelp. I reached out via Yelp and Andrea quickly gave a response telling me to text them at their number. I did and I was able to book an appointment for a week later via text. They did ask me to provide vaccination proof as well as a $35 deposit, all of which weren't unexpected. Upon arrival, everyone was friendly. They took my pup in without a hassle. They were very quick, about 90 minutes. I've actually never been to a groomer that got my pup done in under 2 hours so I was a bit concerned that it may not be well detailed. However once I picked him up, I was super happy with everything. He looked super cute and Fuzzy Tails gave exactly what I asked for! Overall, I 110% recommended this place for dog grooming. Again since I'm out of town, I likely won't be coming back anytime soon. But if I did live in Houston, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
