They don't accept credit cards unless the person can come by and physically swipe your card. They will accept checks and Zelle but not Venmo or PayPal. In addition, I kept waiting for an ETA for when they would stop by. They mentioned that it would be later in the day. They never texted or called and just knocked at the door. I had to scramble to reschedule a work meeting that was supposed to start 20 minutes after they arrived. It seems like they would do good enough work but the hassle of scheduling and payment will have me looking elsewhere when we have future needs.

I contacted Water Drainage Innovations by sending a message through Yelp asking for a quote. We set up an appointment with Dennis and he came out to measure and see what was needed. He gave us a brief verbal overview in person and then sent a written proposal. After we collected all of our bids, we really liked the plan Dennis came up with. It was comprehensive and would solve our needs and the price was fair. We signed and returned the proposal. We then set up a date to start the work. It was a 2 day job to install French Drains that run along both sides of our property. They ran PVC pipe, tying in from the gutter downspouts and going under the sidewalk and out to the street. It involved cutting holes in the curb so the water could drain out. Dennis and his team did a great job throughout the entire project. They showed up when they said they would. They were professional and polite, respectful of our property, even cleaning up at the end of day one knowing they would be back the next day. We sent half the money owed at the end of day one via Zelle, and the balance after the job was complete. We are very happy with how the entire project went and highly recommend Dennis and Water Drainage Innovations. Now we just need everyone to wash their cars and windows and do a rain dance so we can watch the water drain into the street!

He came the following day, tested the water and did a quick clean day 1, and the price was monumentally better than the few other businesses who reached out to me (but at least they contacted me back, many of them never even returned my call, email, or yelp request). He is so friendly, loves animals (didn't freak out when he saw my German Shepherds) and spent actual time talking to my husband and I. We hired him immediately and I sent my friend his info., she has an appointment with him now. There are still companies that will do good, honest, quality work for a reasonable price. He is definitely the best choice. I am posting some after photos as of this posting before he will arrive to do a cleaning. Keep in mind the bottom of the pool is painted a dark grey and it's over cast outside but I can post more soon of what it looks like in the sun *sparkling*. The latest appointment in the day is 1-3 pm which is difficult for our work schedule. When we opted for the 1-3 the service person called at 11:30 saying they were on their way! That seems too far outside the windows to expect customers to quickly adjust. They also give a base-line, per-call price but dot give an estimate before working. They also invoice for their services. Once the work was done it took 2 phone calls and 2 hours just to know how much we owed for the fix.

They quoted me 160 for an hour. A small leak at a connection joint. Think the worker went slow on…read morepurpose to go over an hour. To fix one small leak at a joint cost me $256. I think the job could've been done in an hour. I had a perfectly marked and showed him exactly where the leak was and what was going on. I think the extra half hour was to add more time.

Pool Quest designed and built our pool and spa, large deck, and outdoor kitchen with pergola during Fall, 2016. I'm ashamed that I am just now writing the review; but that being said, I've enjoyed the results for a year and a half now, so I'm not just on a "new buyer high." This is not the first pool we've had built, but it is the first pool review I've written. First, Walter, Ethan, and Rudy were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. They took the time to educate us, and perhaps more importantly, listen to us, so that we ended up with exactly the style and features we wanted, and not wishing we'd done something differently a year and a half later. The engineering, design, and "flow" of the entire space is simply impeccable. Dana went out of her way to get the exact tile we wanted when it was out of stock at the time - even going to other pool dealers to do it. I didn't demand they use that exact tile (not their fault other people liked it as much as I do), but had a hard time deciding on an alternative - so Dana went on a mission. What an amazing thing for a company to do for a customer! Were we charged extra? Nope. And this was a standard tile, not an expensive upgrade. Looks like an upgrade though ;-D Rudy is just about the best construction supervisor I could hope to work with. He caught issues we didn't, but probably would have noticed by now, and took care of them quickly. He took the time to explain everything to us -- even when we thought there were problems that didn't turn out to be problems, he was so patient, and so available. The masons who worked on the raw-edged limestone throughout much of our space are true artists. The paver deck is designed so that it drains perfectly. Our landscaping, lighting, and irrigation (handled by Randy) is easy-care and breathtaking - one of the first things our guests notice and talk about. We were amazed at what we were able to get for the price we were able to spend. But honestly, that was true for the entire project. Pool Quest was neither our cheapest nor most expensive quote during the decision process...but we did think they offered the best value for what we wanted. A year and a half later we still think so. We had a few upgrades during the process, but were not hard-sold on any. Basically, it was just "have you thought about..." Sometimes we thought it was a good idea, sometimes not. Regardless of our decision, we didn't feel pressured. There have been a couple of warranty-type issues (pool light, heater thermostat) since the pool was finished. These have been dealt with quickly and easily. Problems can happen. But it thrills me to have worked with a company who takes care of those problems so well, and with very little effort on my part, beyond a phone call. Finally, this is one of the very few (maybe only?) construction projects I've ever had done that, a year and a half later, I'm very happy with and feel was worth every penny we spent on it. We had pool companies come out and give us bid. Pool Quest was by far the best choice. Our backyard is very elevated and Walter and his design crew, Kevin Strong and Ethan knew how to design the best project with retaining walls etc. Project was started and finished in a very timely manner. Just in time for July 4th! They did everything to get us and our family in the pool by the holiday. During the project, Jeff was on top of every aspect of the process! Very knowledgeable! Pool-Quest created a kitchen and dining area for our backyard. From contract signature to project completion, Pool-Quest did everything they said they would. Handshakes in the business world are unfortunately a thing of the past but not with Pool-Quest. If they shake on it, consider it done. The level of detail with our project couldn't be greater. Down to the last stone in place, plants being planted in just the right place, etc. Ethan Meek creates a 3D graphical video of what you are wanting to build and if you see in in the video you will see it in your project. We…read moredidn't know Mark actually built pools, but since we believe he is trustworthy, we asked him for a referral. It turned out that he could do the repairs. The process went rather smoothly. We also had them seal our concrete decking and put mastic in all the joints. He was very patient with all our MANY questions before and during the process. There were two things that impressed us most. 1) Mark was present. There was a step that we were particularly nervous about and he stayed through that step and personally ensured that it all went well. He is very busy and couldn't be there for the entire time, but showed up every day to make sure his guys knew what to do and did it correctly. 2) He made sure that everything was cleaned up once it was done. We are very particular and we are happy with the clean up. We did not have to clean up after his workers. Because he stays very busy, you may need to wait awhile for him to get to you, but it is worth the wait. We would recommend him for any project that he has the resources to do. We will call him first for anything we need done to see if he does it and, if so, he's hired. :) Thank you, Mark and Tracey!

The project I had done started a couple months back when I was researching pricing on having concrete poured from the back to the front yard, with a pad to store my garbage cans and any other items on the side of the house, as well as stone edging that matched the front of the house to go along the perimeter of the sidewalk. I had an estimated range of pricing I would be happy with for the amount of concrete and the overall scope of work to be done. Several contractors came out to give me quotes but Daniel was the only one who showed up at the time we had scheduled, which is very much appreciated. We talked about the scope of work, materials required and the timeframe for getting everything done. The pricing for the project was within the range I had researched before so I decided to go ahead and sign on with Daniel for the job. The concrete pour was a single day job. Daniel and his crew showed up in the morning to get all the prep work done and were very accommodating to some of the minor changes that I wanted to implement to the final design. Once that was done it was time to pour, which went about as smoothly as it could've gone. Finally we got the materials required to have the stonework done for the edging on the sidewalk. The materials were delivered to the house the day before and Daniel was again on time the next day to get the project done. We again talked about a couple minor changes to the final design (part of which was suggested by one of his crew) and this was another single day job. Daniel was able to come by the house and clean up everything from the project before I started getting issues from my lovely HOA. Again, overall Daniel did an amazing job, I'm particular about the work done on my house and he was very accommodating with any changes or issues I had. His work is top notch and high quality, I would rate higher if I could. Thank you again Daniel

Then the foreman quit during the filling stage and I had no direction and no one informed me he had quit .. days later I had to call the main office to figure out why on the most critical part of the remodel I couldnt get in touch.. After getting a new foreman some grout work had been repaired and they cleaned their tools and left a stream of grout down our decorative stairs. I have asked them to clean it for over a month not happening . The start up requires service and when the service side showed up they were unaware that it was a brand new plaster and was about to treat in a manner I had been told by them would damage my pool. They were supposed to service it weekly and missed a week which allowed algae to grow in my newly remodeled pool. After talking to that supervisor it has been better.. I also hired them to replace and work on some pool equipment and that group did a good job... I would use pulliam for technical repairs and maybe cleaning service but not for remodel or new pool install..
