Companies wanted $5.400 just to run a line of asphalt in from the road. We called Superior and they were going to widen the area so it covered the existing cracking apron. Their estimate? $4,800. Then my wife decided she wanted to get rid of the old framed out paver bricks that ran in front of our front steps and around the side of the house where our garbage cans stayed (pavers were sinking inside the frame, it looked bad, and were a trip hazard). Do I called them again for another estimate to include that area. Two days later I had an adjusted estimate to include all the paver area. The new estimate $5,050. Only $250 more than the original and it was still well below the other companies quote for just a single lane driveway. They came out and did the work and it looked great. My wife, however, with her OCD, wanted a more rounded edge than what our old paver area had. So Superior put down more asphalt until the edges were straight and even with the rest of the area. I thought this would bring the total cost to equal of what the competitors quoted. No, they don't even charge for the extra work. They just wanted us happy. We are and would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone who asks.

My sister and I had flown in…read morefrom across the country to start cleaning up our brother's townhouse to get it ready to sell. 2 weeks earlier, I'd booked another junk removal company to come out on a Saturday morning. They weren't returning my calls and didn't show up. Then they called and promised to come in 4 hours and knock $50 off. I'd already reached out to other junk removal companies - and Code Green responded in 5 minutes, so it was a no-brainer. They were at our door in under 2 hours. These guys at Code Green were amazing. They operate like a well-oiled machine - fast and efficient. They had 3 pickup loads packed up in 20 minutes. And, believe it or not, they were half the cost of the company that flaked out on us. In our case, they showed up with (I believe) an 18-foot open trailer pulled by a pickup. (Photo from the rear makes it look smaller.) This probably helped cut the time as it's fast to load. Fortunately, I happened to put clothes in their own bags, other bags and boxes were all paper. This is one way they cut costs, by recycling and donating everything possible. We're not done with cleaning out the townhouse, and we'll be using Code Green for all our future junk removal. I wouldn't dream of calling anyone else.
