We had such a fun and unique stay at Lazy C Ranch! It's tucked away right along the mountains, so you really get that peaceful, western ranch feel, but you're still just a short drive from downtown Palm Springs and everything there is to do. We came with a big group of families and stayed in several of the different casitas throughout the property, which was honestly perfect. We basically had our own little ranch getaway! Each casita had separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room, so there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED all the animals! There are horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and more, and guests can interact with, pet and sometimes even ride the animals. One morning, the ranch manager took all of our kids around to visit the animals and gave each of them food and carrots to feed them. They had the best time and thought it was the coolest thing! The pool area was probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool was the perfect temperature and the setting is gorgeous -- there's a huge natural boulder right alongside it and the mountains are basically your backdrop. There are cabanas for lounging and a long shaded table where our whole group could sit together and eat meals. It was such a pretty, relaxing spot. And then there's the SALOON! Such a fun touch and definitely a hit with our group. It has western-style saloon doors, a bar area, an air-conditioned game room with pool tables, and picnic tables outside. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. There's also a fire pit by the main ranch house where the kids made s'mores at night, which was the perfect way to end the day. This is such a great place for families or groups traveling together who want something different from the typical Palm Springs hotel experience. You really feel like you've escaped to a little mountain/cowboy ranch, while still being close enough to downtown to go out to dinner, shop, or explore. What a cool place to visit! We've been to the lazy C ranch multiple times now and keep coming back. It is such a magical place and it really feels like you're in the Wild Wild West! It was so relaxing to walk around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The animals on site, including horses and goats, were a lovely touch and added to the charm. The Lazy C Ranch was a great experience!! There is a very cute old time looking western style hotel and saloon great photo op! Also inside this you will find a pool table, ping pong and foosball table with complimentary hot chocolate station and coffee station. There is an epic pool surrounded by natural rock boulders, with sitting areas and bbq area to enjoy poolside all day with friends or family. Staff was always on site, very friendly and helpful. When we wanted to ride the horses, pet or feed the goats, or ride an ATV we were able too. The rooms had AC a must in Palm Springs, TV's in each room, dining area and full kitchen with fridge to stock up with food, all necessary tools to cook whatever you may need too. (Definitely stock up no on site food) However this is located just 12 mins from downtown Palm Springs we actually used Uber eats one night and had Thai food delivered with ease. If I could give The Lazy C Ranch 10 stars I would. This venue was an absolute dream come true. My husband and I couldn't have imagined a better place to say "I do." Not only was our day better than we could have imagined, but the property itself is so beautiful and WAS SUCH A VIBE ALLLL WEEKEND!! The property was able to accommodate us, our wedding party and plus ones, and our immediate family members, AND ITS DOG FRIENDLY. But the property manager Nidya was the real MVP! She was willing to add or remove things around the property to help create our ideal environment, was always available when we need her, and was sooo friendly and informative. WE LOVE HER!! This place is awesome. We came for a quick getaway with a few close friends and the location was perfect. I was tucked away from the main Palm Springs area but less than a 10 minute drive into town for food and entertainment. Although the ranch has many things to keep you entertained as well. The animals were friendly and fun to feed and pet. The little western town was adorable and great for pictures. The pool area has lots of seating and great ambiance. We spent most of our time here and it was wonderful. The pool itself was amazing, heated at night and perfectly cool during the hot days. There is enough space to distance from others there. There was also a fire pit in front of our cottage and plenty of firewood that was great to use at night. The cottage itself (we stayed in #8) was so cute and well furnished/decorated. It had a clean, modern kitchen and baths with the essentials for a weekend stay. It has AC and smart TVs for those stay in days/nights. The beds were comfortable and clean. My review is not based on an actual stay, but the customer service I received. I booked through AirBnB for a girls weekend late April. We had Stagecoach tickets. Unfortunately, due to the widespread & unprecedented coronavirus pandemic I had to cancel my reservation which truly broke my heart. My cancellation wasn't necessarily the festival upon which I cancelled. But the coronavirus and the uncertainty around it. I have an underlying health issue related to an accident a few years back which prevents me from enjoying any public events until I know this virus is past us. If I could have rebooked for another date I would have happily done so, but given the unforeseeable future, I had to cancel. Lazy C has a very strict cancellation policy. But Nidya was very understanding. She did not have to approve my refund. But she was kind enough to make an exception. I truly could not ask for a more understanding host. Lazy C was amazing to work with from beginning to end. I'm truly disappointed that I am unable to stay here to experience the ranch life as it was actually the highlight of my upcoming trip to be honest. More so than than the festival! I really want to feed the animals, lay by the pool & have a bonfire cause although I grew up a city girl, I'm truly a down home country gal from a past life! We had a family reunion at the Lazy C Ranch last weekend. I could not have found a better place. We looked into many different options and chose the ranch mostly because we had a lot of kids and needed them occupied with various activities. The Ranch had it all - variety of friendly animals, pool, hiking trails, horses and ponies, game room with lots of games, picture perfect ghost town. Adults loved it as well. We had dinner by the pool one night, formal dinner at the barn another night, gathered around bonfire singing songs and sharing stories late at night. No one wanted to leave. The whole weekend was magical. Families with kids stayed at the Ranch in very comfortable 7 cottages and the rest found accommodations nearby. The staff was amazing. Nidya, the manager , was very responsive and super helpful. All our questions very answered right away. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best experience. Even little things like bringing a spray to unwrinkle tablecloths for our formal dinner, bringing extra wood for bonfire , providing carrots to feed goats, sharing some decorations stored at the ranch. My (now) Husband and I spent A LOT of time trying to find a venue for our wedding. We had decided on an area, Palm Springs, but quickly found out all of the ridiculous laws surrounding outside, amplified music (even during the day) and the even more ridiculous permits and legalities surrounding a wedding. Not to mention, the HUGE price hikes when you mention you're having a wedding. We spoke to one venue about a 100 person event with the fee being a few thousand, and once we mentioned it was a wedding, the fee jumped to 10K. I dont understand this. Lazy C was our last hope. If we couldnt have our wedding here, then we would have to change the area completely. I am a huge animal lover, and with all the cute animals on property, I was already sold! But we had to get my husband on board. We toured the property with the owner. His name escapes me at the moment, but he was so nice and lovely, and made us feel so comfortable with having our big day on property. The space is HUGE! 9 houses in total, across 17 bedrooms. This was enticing to us, simply because we wanted our wedding party and families to stay on property with us. The cottages were quaint, all with kitchens and living rooms, most of them renovated. A beautiful swimming pool perfect for any event or wedding reception. And the most beautiful backdrop you could imagine, especially after rain, which we were lucky enough to receive days before our wedding creating lush greenery all around the property. The prices are extremely reasonable, the rules are lenient, but obvious. Respect the property and they respect you! WE BOOKED! Thank god we found this property, otherwise we would have been lost. Matt, the property manager, greeted us, and stuck around the property most of the days we were there making sure everything ran smoothly for us, and we didn't need anything. They set up solar lighting all around the property to light our way at night when travers He was super attentive, and very very nice (seems to be a trend here with these guys!). The made sure the property was clean and tidy all around us so our pictures looked incredible, as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! IF for a special event, wedding, family reunion, etc. This place has it all. The whole ranch was adorable with perfect touches all around the private property. Our unit was so clean and newly remodeled. We saw another unit and it was charmingly rustic with perfect tile and fireplaces. The pool was gorgeous and felt connected to history. It never got too crowded. Check-in and check-out were really easy. Our daughter loved feeding the animals (the property provides carrots to feed the animals). This place is so magical, you'll never want to leave. First of all it's super private, when you're on the property, you can play loud music as late as you want and you will barely see another soul except for the animals. The animals are all so friendly, they give you feed in each cottage so you can go over and feed and play with the goats, sheep and horses!!! Sometimes there are BABIES TOO!!! The property is pretty big so it's impossible to get bored! The pool was built in 1920 and kept in immaculate condition. It's nice and warm in the winter months and cool in the summer months and has the greatest view of the mountain and palm trees. Such a treat! It's all fenced in too in case you want to bring your dog or you have kids you don't want wandering off. The western town is out of this world!!!! It literally looks like the show west world. There are outlets in the saloon and we brought a whole DJ set and set up a serious shindig in there under the stars. It was just magic. There are property managers onsite who can help you set things up if you needed and are there for general inquiries and supplies. You do need to bring your own supplies like food and drinks. The cottages are equally incredible with each having a unique, detailed western design from the paintings on the wall to the cowboy hats provided for guests. Each cottage has pool towels and basic cookware. I always bring more pots, paper plates and plastic re-useable glasses for the pool area, extra paper towel and Tupperware because we cook a lot everyday. If you know how to ride, you can take the horses out and there is also a quad you can take out. Beside the property are huuuuge ATV dunes to drive around in that looks like the set of MADMAX. I've been there about 7 times already in the last YEAR! And I plan on continuing to go for the rest of the year as it's the perfect place to isolate!!! read more

Ahhhhmazing property! Came here with a big group and everything was perfect. There are so many amenities on the premise we didn't even use them all. The property has multiple cottages/condos, each with its own kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. There is WiFi, large screen tv, gas stove, coffee makers, pullout beds, ac/heater unit, extra blankets, and so much more. We never left the property and never felt the need to. There are lots of animals including horses, donkey, ducks, goats, chickens, and bunnies! This property is perfect for events, weddings, or "glamping". There's also a heated pool! And best of all, it's only 5 mins away from a very well-stocked gas station where you can buy just about anything you forgot to pack or need last minute. Best of all, I still had phone reception during my stay. This location allows you to feel like you're getting away from the city life but yet you're literally right off the freeway and ~30mins or so away from the Cabazon outlets! read more

The Lazy C was an absolutely perfect setting for our fall wedding in palm springs!! The property is gorgeous and the rooms at the ranch are large but still cozy and very comfortable. The animals at the ranch were so cool and wandering around the property felt like we were far from palm springs. The wedding arch and mountains in the back drop in sure have us some epic photos (waiting on our photographer to send them). There was plenty of room for our 220 guests and bridal party. The barn where dinner and reception were held is brand new and gorgeous! And I would be totally remiss to not mention the old west saloon and the amazing pool. Both were perfect for our bars and gave our guests the option to spread out a bit and explore the ranch. Both were really cool zones with comfortable chairs and tables. I really can't recommend this venue more highly! The onsite manager was great to work with and our big day was flawless. I am definitely going back just to spend time and if you're looking for a wedding venue stop looking and contact them. Like right now! You will not be disappointed. An amazing California ranch experience! I stayed at Lazy C Ranch this past weekend and I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed myself. I was a bit hesitant about the ranch at first, but all of that hesitation went away once I got to the ranch. The unit I stayed in was air-conditioned, had WiFi, had a smart TV, refrigerator, stove, etc... All the creature comforts helped me feel not so detached from my regular life. There were SO MANY animals at the ranch. I got carrots to feed the horses, goats and even a donkey. I even got to hang out with chickens, ducks and rabbits. Later in my day, I swam in the rock pool while getting a nice tan. At night, my party made a bonfire and made s'mores while enjoying long conversations under the star lit sky. Lazy C is a short drive from the Palm Springs action but also tucked away in a quite place of its own right by some beautiful rock covered mountains.
