They sent Jade, and she was absolutely wonderful with my Golden Retriever. Her cutting skills are excellent -- she understands the breed and knows how to shape the coat properly without overdoing it. My cat, Mochi, is a rescue with a history of abuse related to being shaved, so I was incredibly anxious about having him groomed. From the moment I met Gabby, all of those worries started to melt away. Her warm, kind demeanor immediately put both me and Mochi at ease. She treated us like family, taking the time to chat with me about her experience, explain the grooming process, and reassure me that he was in good hands. Gabby also educated me on how to better maintain my long-haired boy's coat at home, which I really appreciated. While Mochi was being groomed in the van downstairs, she kept me updated with texts so I never had to wonder how he was doing. The results were beautiful, but what impressed me most was Mochi's demeanor afterward. He was so calm and relaxed that I was genuinely floored. There seemed to be awareness and a far better groomer was in place by early this year. But the front desk personnel... seemed always a new person and that became a real challenge. Experienced a few surprises when it came to final price vs original quote. Our observation is the new hires were not trained well prior to being on the floor and working with customers. Inaccurate price quotes, several booking mistakes, etc. After navigating a challenging phone call with yet another new person to simply book an appointment, I received a voice message from the owner stating they would no longer take us as customers. She cited behavior from that morning (I called around 4pm) and she stated she hadn't viewed the camera footage...?!? Again I had simply called and neither me nor my spouse had stepped foot in there in the prior 30 days. The owner invited a call back which I took her up on within 15 minutes of her phone call.
