Had to take him to the urgent vet clinic and my baby has kennel cough. He received a bath I didn't ask for which has me concerned about the care and observation he received. I've been leery of the spot for some time after a few uses because there is no grass for him to pee or play. I've tried to overlook this, but how? Does he just go on the floor? Or in their kennels? In addition the owner's rude and dismissive disposition leaves much to be desired and much to avoid at all cost. Only because 1 or 2 of the front desk workers are kind do I feel regret for having to write this , but never will I ever subject my baby or myself to that facility. My dog's emergency vet bill, the poor care, and the lackluster customer service from the owner has me sold on never returning. An observation: a reviewer from just few days ago, 14 to be exact, made a similar complaint. Perhaps stop refuting the claim and review and clean a bit better, and treat your patrons like supporters and not the enemy. It's on you. She made it overtly obvious there was some type of prejudice toward me. I wanted to see if she would even offer a brochure at the end of our interaction which she did not, I had to ask. My dog Izzy absolutely loves it at Paws! It's helped him socialize and he always leaves with a smile on his face. Most of the staff is also very nice, loving, good to the dogs. Besides a recent bought of kennel cough Izzy picked up at camp, we have no complaints about the day care. The issue I have is that out of the blue the owners decided to increase the half day rate from $19 to $35! That's 4 hours for $35! And a full day is the price of double what it costs for me to board my dog overnight at my veterinarian. I completely understand a business needing to hike up rates due to increased cost, but not only was this abruptly done, but the owner (like reviewer Hannah experienced) came up to me as I was picking up Izzy and said "we better buy packages now because prices are going up in a day or so!" It was rude and as a regular weekly customer I was offended that a mailing didn't go out, nor did an email or anything professional. Paws not only increases prices but no longer wipe the dogs down after they played and drooled on each other all day, and have not replaces their old, used toys in ages. Makes me sad but if prices don't go down, it seems like once our packages are done we will not be able to return to Paws. Just too expensive!

She is very old and she probably should not be working anymore. If my dog's condition does not improve in the next couple of hours, then I will be taking them to the vet. Unfortunately, after several weeks of repeated phone calls, messages, and even an in-person visit to the facility, my parents have been unable to get a response or receive the promised reimbursement. The lack of communication and accountability has been extremely disappointing, especially given that the owner's dog was responsible for the bite. Had the owner honored their commitment to reimburse the veterinary expenses, we likely would have continued sending our dog there. While we understand that accidents can happen, the way this situation has been handled has left us unable to recommend this daycare.

I recently needed a cat carrier to get a stray that I just adopted to the vet, and the lady who runs the store was very helpful. I'm sure she could've sold me a much more expensive one, but she had a used carrier in stock for just $15 which I really appreciated. She was also helpful at answering my questions about local vets and animal hospitals. The selection of merchandise here isn't huge since it's a small store, but if they have what you want then you can count on courteous and helpful service.

A couple weeks ago I brought my dog in to be groomed. When I picked him up, his hair was not cut…read moreas we requested (he was shaved when we had asked them to cut it about 1" long, not shaved), and worse yet -- he had scabs where it seems like clumps of hair had been pulled out where he must have had a knot or matte. Also, he has a mole on his side that was scabbed from the clippers, and his bottom was irritated for a week afterwords (presumably due to rough handling when they expressed his glands.) Our dog is 13 years old, and he has been groomed many times by many different groomers since we have moved around. I have never seen him come back in such rough shape, and I felt compelled to share this info. I cannot recommend this groomer anymore. They have done a good job in past visits, but this was completely unacceptable.
