This family owned business always has friendly staff. I met Shelle today, and I usually see the older gentleman who has always been very hospitable to me. These are my favorite gummy bears ever. In hindsight, it did have a sign that said Mobile App Drive Thru, but I didn't think it was unreasonable to assume that means Mobile App AND Drive Thru given the spacing on the sign. There wasn't another car in sight anywhere near the building. I pulled up to the window, an employee opened it, and asked if I wanted to order. She then informed me their drive thru is around the other side. I think there are plenty of people that would've left at this point, but I pulled around, stopped briefly to look at the menu board (just the board, no clear ORDER HERE box like I'm used to seeing), and pulled up to the window. Wrong again, they actually DO have a speaker in the menu board. When I finally got to the window after my third trip around the building, and placing my order, it was very surprising to find out that the employee that had initially turned me away was the same one that had taken my order and served it to me. I'm not sure why we need two drive thru lines, and I'm even less sure why, on such a quiet business day, she couldn't have just taken my order right away and said "so you know for next time, the line is around the other side." I also asked if she was going to charge me a credit card processing fee it is fine as long as the disclaimer is given to the consumer. You can't simply charge whatever you want and when you want. By the way the receipt wasn't even itemized. Just a total with tax which means this business is eating the extras. Very shady business and attitude to go with it. I'll be reporting this to the better business bureau and outlet property management. I would stay away unless you want to be charge whatever they want to charge you. I also overheard the woman in the kiosk stand overcharge another customer for nachos. Again the excuse, the owner changed all the prices but didn't update the menu. Consumer beware!!
