I've tried most, if not all, of them. Taqueria Express food trucks are the best Mexican in Nashville. They're cheap and affordable. Their city inspection scores are higher than most actual restaurants. They're delicious. Their only weakness: limited options because it's a truck, after all. It's located in a very easily accessible lot off of Nolensville. As soon as I parked my car, one of the workers walked over to me to take my order and sweetly encouraged me to stay in my car as it was hot outside. She was wonderful and service was super prompt! My coworkers and I ordered multiple tacos with a variety of meats - carnitas, chorizo, asada, pastor, and also a quesadilla de chorizo (I'm not brave enough for el buche/pork stomach yet - sorry). ALL GOOD. Carries all the traits of an authentic Mexican taco. Also, I'm one of those people who can realistically eat about 8 tacos (but really shouldn't), and I felt pretty full after ordering 3 here for a quick lunch - if that helps anyone decide how many to order! The workers were extremely accommodating to my special requests, e.g. extra spicy salsa in those tiny containers, extra limes for the quesadilla, etc. I am definitely coming back here and hope to see many more people enjoy it as well!
