The décor and ambiance is so fun and really sets the mood. It was a little loud for conversation, but the music was great and fit the vibe perfectly. Santiago was an amazing server! 10/10 service! He was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. The food was delicious. The ceviche and causa were standout dishes, and while the concha was good, I didn't think it quite justified the price. I also had a fantastic cocktail that I'd definitely order again. Overall, such a fun experience, and I'll definitely be back!

The presentation was stunning, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and every bite was packed with flavor. The lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, the potatos and the sauce was amazing. What truly made our experience exceptional was our waiter, Orlando. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel welcomed from start to finish. He checked on us often, gave great recommendations, and provided the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Outstanding customer service like his is hard to find these days. This was such a wonderful 6 /2 year anniversary, and we left already talking about what we want to order on our next visit. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful Peruvian cuisine with excellent service, CVI.CHE 105 is definitely worth a visit. Thank you, Orlando, for making our afternoon so memorable. We'll definitely be back!

Old Lisbon in Aventura delivers an authentic Portuguese dining experience with excellent food,…read moreattentive service. While it is located in a shopping plaza, the restaurant's warm and inviting ambiance makes it easy to forget the surroundings and settle into a relaxed meal. Service was attentive throughout the evening, with staff providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The wine list featuring a selection of Portuguese wines that pair beautifully with the menu. We started with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau and Polvo Grelhado, both excellent choices. The codfish cakes were crisp and flavorful, while the grilled octopus was tender and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread service was a welcome addition and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed the Paelha Marinheira and the Parrilhada de Marisco. Both seafood dishes were outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Dessert was equally enjoyable. The Pasteis de Nata offered the classic creamy custard and flaky pastry combination that Portugal is known for, while the Pêras ao Vinho do Porto provided a refined and delicious finish to the meal.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. They have a tree in the middle that gives it an outdoor open feel. And an incredible wine display in the back. Our waitress, from Portugal, did a great job of explaining the menu to us and guiding us on what to order. We started off with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau which are cod fritters and OMG they were sooo good! These tasted identical to the ones we've eaten in Lisbon. It comes with the classic pairing of black eyed peas which are awesome when eaten together. We also tried the Chouriço Assado which the presentation when its brought to the table is a treat itself. It comes out on a flaming pig and then its sliced tableside. Our waitress recommended trying the chorizo with the piri piri sauce which is slightly spicy and it was delicious. It added another layer of flavor. For entree we got the Paelha Marinheira which was absolutely amazing. First off, its a huge portion and comes piping hot. Each bite was full of seafood. We added the lobster which was perfection. It's great to share between 2 people. For dessert we ended with the pasteis de nata and its great because it brings 2 pastries and we paired it with ice cream. It makes for the perfect sweet treat without being too much. The pasteis de nata is served slightly warm and is perfect with the cool ice cream. Overall great restaurant for some Portuguese cuisine.

It's a cozy little spot right on Biscayne Boulevard in the heart of Sunny Isles. Cozy in the sense that there are a lot of tables and we were kind of packed. The Miami spice menu actually looked pretty generous as far as not, just bare minimum food. My appetizer, the provoleta with prosciutto and sun-dried tomatoes was yummy and well prepared. My churrasco (skirt steak) was a nice size and juicy especially considering that I asked for it medium well. The steakhouse sides offered in the Miami spice menu where were some improvement can be had. The sides were a little on the basic side like rice, fries, and potato gratin. If we wanted mac & cheese, that was an extra. They did bring us another side sampler after we verbalized this, including a sweet potato mash. This is pretty good. They also seem to be some confusion at the beginning with whether the flan came à la mode with ice cream because some tables seem to be getting it where we were told they did not have it as part of spice. However, it's much appreciated that they did bring us ice cream. As far as drinks, you can never go wrong with a bottle of Malbec! I definitely like to give them another shot. Maybe when it's less busy like off of Miami spice seaso.

When we were seated, the staff member simply dropped the menus in front of us and immediately turned around and walked away (the place was not busy at all, so they were not in hurry to meet another customers...) Even after we politely said "thank you," there was no response whatsoever. For a restaurant of this level, basic courtesy should be a given. A simple "you're welcome" or "please have a look at the menu, and we'll be back shortly to take your order" would make a significant difference. Small details like these shape the entire guest experience. I hope Matek pays more attention to the attitude and hospitality of the front-of-house staff.
