Focaccia bread, which they charge $7.00 for and didn't mention that when they asked if we'd like bread.

Overall this place is way overpriced. Food is average to good, service is average, but I probably wouldn't be back. The ravioli were room temp at best and the pasta was hard. Almost dried out. I definitely wouldn't order this dish again for $52. The server asked if we wanted bread and we said sure having no idea that is an extra charge. The bread was average at best. The salad was okay. I didn't remember seeing there was blue cheese on it on the menu. Pears seemed under ripped and $27 for that salad seems like a rip off. Honestly, I would skip this place unless you are looking for drop $$$$....

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent atmosphere with the most attentive service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The best part... THE CUISINE... EXCELLENT!!!! Pizza, polenta and that sauce (OMG the best) the branzino with black rice was superb. Tiramisu took me back to Florence! Truly a delight of a restaurant.

Lunch at Gaby by Call Me Gaby did not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside, though the outdoor patio is perfect for people-watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and attentive. I had an espresso martini--hands down one of the best I've ever had. The focaccia was just okay, but the pot of meatballs was outstanding--so moist and flavorful. Hubby and I shared the Asian pear carpaccio and the Little Gem salad, both absolutely delicious. FYI... 20% gratuity is already included. I'll 100% be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely spot for lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is well done. Service is efficient. We ordered the Margherita pizza, crispy polenta and watermelon salad. The salad was surprising filling with complex flavors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside has a nice calming ambiance in a busy part of the mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only con - a bit on a pricey side.

This was the first time at the Aventura Mall, and heading outside to find this place where it was located immediately reminded me of Lincoln Road in Miami...except better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sat outside and enjoyed a great meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Pot of Meatballs - Lamb and beef meatballs, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, whipped ricotta & chives was a great way to start. For me, the Fiocchetti Alle Pere e Tartufo - Handmade pasta filled with Parmigiano Reggiano fondue, caramelized pear, Sage butter sauce, Aceto Balsamico di Modena Goccia d'Oro, truffle carpaccio was both unique and tasty. Service could have been a little more friendly, but I'm giving that a pass for this review since everything else came together so well.

Good food but the restaurant is EXPENSIVE for what you get. Be prepared to spend $$$. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is really cute and cozy with a bit of a romantic feel to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was top notch our waitress made great recommendations and was very attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the hugo spritz which has always been one of my favorite drinks to order in Italy after an afternoon spent sightseeing and walking around because the drink is so perfectly refreshing and not overly sweet which I love. The Hugo spritz was absolutely amazing, so much better than I expected, and brought me right back to the streets of Rome. Highly recommend! To start our meal we ordered the crispy polenta and it was a great way to start our meal. I absolutely love polenta and had never had it served this way so I was really excited to try it and it didn't disappoint it was absolutely delicious. The polenta was crispy and warm served over a layer of Cacio e Pepe cream sauce with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Such a simple dish but done so well and in a way I've never had before. We ordered a Margherita pizza and the braised short rib ravioli of the day to share. The Margherita pizza was very good, the dough was cooked perfectly, and it was another simple dish done well. The ravioli was just OK, but we were expecting something wow for the $50 price point, it was definitely NOT WORTH IT. Portion size for the price of this dish was very small and the ravioli itself wasn't very impressive it was lacking in flavor and the short rib inside was a bit too dry. We were also expecting a bit more as far as the pasta went, it didn't have that fresh homemade ravioli taste, the pasta itself didn't taste homemade or was anything special. The dish was simply ok, but again very expensive for what you get. We ended our meal with the tiramisu which was also just ok, not anything special, and definitely not worth the $15 price point. It was served in a small tea cup so portion size was small and didn't taste at all like a traditional tiramisu. Even a double espresso here cost $7 which again is a bit overpriced for what you get. To put it in perspective, for two people for lunch our check was $200 and the restaurant already included 20% gratuity even though we were just two people (most restaurants add the gratuity for parties of 6 or more). I forgot to mention, that dining here they didn't bring any bread to the table either when we sat down, so I'm assuming that would have been an additional charge as well. So although we enjoyed our drinks and the meal, for the price point I don't think we will be back again.

The food was very fresh and the service was excellent. We stopped by after doing some shopping and had a great brunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is super cute and has a nice menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did not try the regular menu but the brunch menu had many options.

I looked at the reviews before I came to dine here, so I thought I would try it. However, very much disappointed I got the polenta which were a few small sticks. No taste to it and I feel like it was definitely overpriced. At the pizza had no flavor and the service was not that great. I would not recommend it.

7/27/35- Sunday @1:30pm- If I could give 10 Stars I would! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outstanding service, food and atmosphere! Definitely exceeded my every expectation![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A very busy Sunday at the Aventura Mall. I knew enough to make a reservation for inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is beautiful, casual , comfortable and inviting! The outside patio dining is a magical setting and the indoor has a casual family friendly vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Greeted warmly by the Host I was seated inside at a perfect location for me. Then it began! Great Service ! Extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly service from Oscar G. . The entire Team was amazingI Hospitality at it's finest! I ordered the most delicious Pinot Grigio with an appetizer of Focaccia.. oil and balsamic vinegar was brought to the table. Their olive oil is so delicious...very high quality. After reviewing their menu online for weeks in anticipation of my visit, I decided on the CRISPY POLENTA Served on a bed of Cacio and Pepper cream, Truffle oil, fresh grated parmesan cheese, chives! I started eating the Focaccia, pillowy buttery soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. A touch of Rosemary, course salt and olive oil. It definitely was the most delicious Focaccia I've ever had! My Pinot Grigio was iced cold and balanced by the pillowy Focaccia. Then came my entree the absolute masterpiece! I love Polenta I've never had it prepared this way and will never be satisfied with any other! The presentation was Michelin Star Quality! Then came the true taste test! Absolutely piping hot and delicious. The CRISPY POLENTA Served on a bed of Cacio and Pepper cream, Truffle oil, rosemary and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Truly things that dreams of.. The gracious manager, Giuseppe, greeted every table ensuring the service and the food exceeded expectations. And of course it delivered! He is charming and sincere!! For dessert I was offered their home made tiramisu. Creamy, light, delicate but full of flavor! What can i say but the entire experience was Magical! Yes, there are so many great restaurants at Aventura but Gaby should be your priority! I highly recommend

Decided to try this restaurant located at Aventura mall during lunch time and it was pretty good. The drinks were delicious and my favorite dish was the crispy polenta. That sauce! The Fiocchetti alle pere e tartufo was not my favorite, I think needed a little more seasoning in my opinion. I do want to go back and try the other pastas. Service was great, super attentive, and because it was lunch time it wasn't too busy so everything came out quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot to check out if you are at Aventura mall![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We love the food and call me Gaby at the South of fifth location. Stumbled across this location, and the food is exactly exactly the same. Everything is absolutely delicious. But the icing on the cake was our experience with the staff. They are exceptionally nice, and and have a great sense of humor. Stella and Dylan were outstanding (truly out-stand-ing!) We will be back very soon !!

This is the first time I've been to Call Me Gaby and Aventura. I live near their original restaurant in South Beach and so I was interested to find out how well they had pulled off their casual chic, Mediterranean, Italian atmosphere. In short, it is a fantastic rendition. I loved everything about this location, completely forgot I was in a mall, and the attention to detail, the service, and the food, were among the best I've had at Gaby. The host, Jason, was super, and everyone was attentive without being overbearing. From the charcuterie board to the Nicoise salad to the focaccia, there was no let up on delivering full flavors and great fresh ingredients. Super for lunch. I'll have to try it again once for dinner to see if the atmosphere stays as wonderful

I loved the candle chandeliers they look great in the space. The two televisions with no signal were not so great. The bar has some great options for drinks I noticed a cachaça or two. The restrooms were simple and well maintained. We ended our meal with a cappuccino, an espresso and their tiramisu. All three were excellent. It took a moment to get our server's attention and to get our check but in fairness she was busy with another table and was mostly alone due to the early hour that we visited. I will definitely return and I highly recommend both the pizza and the tiramisu.

She even offered to come back to pick up the chicken that was missing. However, the manager told her there was nothing they could do. He mentioned that he would comp the meal, which was not what we were asking for--we simply wanted the order corrected. Unfortunately, that was never done either. We were a group of five, had just one round of drinks, and the bill came out to nearly $400, which felt completely unreasonable for the quality. Service didn't help the experience either. Our server wasn't very friendly and was quite pushy, repeatedly trying to get us to order a tomahawk steak even after we said no multiple times, which felt odd for an Italian restaurant to begin with. Also worth noting, the gratuity is already included in the bill, which might explain the lack of effort and attentiveness we experienced.
