He was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. The food was delicious. The ceviche and causa were standout dishes, and while the concha was good, I didn't think it quite justified the price. I also had a fantastic cocktail that I'd definitely order again. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, modern, and inviting. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The presentation was stunning, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and every bite was packed with flavor. The lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, the potatos and the sauce was amazing. My family and I have been frequent customers of CVI.CHE 105 Aventura for years. We've always recommended this location because the food, drinks, and service have consistently been excellent. Unfortunately, our visit this past Monday afternoon was very disappointing. Although the restaurant wasn't busy, we were initially seated right next to the server station where orders are entered. We declined the table, and the manager thankfully seated us elsewhere. Had there not been another option, we probably would have left. I also noticed the ladies' restroom was poorly maintained, with damaged toilet seats and an overall lack of upkeep that was surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. The biggest issue was the service. When our entrées arrived, our appetizer plates were still covering the table. Instead of clearing them first or asking someone to help, the food runner was practically trying to fit our new plates onto an already crowded table. This never used to happen here, as managers were always visible making sure service ran smoothly. When we mentioned our concerns, our server mostly blamed staffing and management, explaining they no longer had someone dedicated to clearing tables. While I understand staffing challenges, guests shouldn't be hearing excuses. A simple apology and notifying the manager would have been enough. When Aaron, the manager, came over, we expected him to listen. Instead, he spent nearly 30 minutes explaining that he was new, talking about his experience at higher-end restaurants, and offering reasons why things happened. We appreciated the apology, complimentary dessert, and 20% off our bill, but what we really wanted was acknowledgment and reassurance that the problem would be addressed. Adding to our disappointment was that immediately after Aaron left our table, we watched the table behind us experience the exact same issue, with dirty dishes still on the table as their food was brought out. That made it clear this wasn't an isolated mistake but a recurring service problem that wasn't being corrected. I would have given them 3 stars instead if they hadn't wasted our time so much with nonsensical excuses. I genuinely hope this location returns to the level of service that made us loyal customers. The food and drinks remain outstanding and are the reason we keep coming back. For now, I can wholeheartedly recommend the food, but unfortunately, I can no longer say the same about the dining experience. read more

Such a FABULOUS time at CVI.CHE 105 during a recent trip to Miami. We came here for a late lunch so it wasn't busy and had terrific service and recommendations from Maria. We ordered the trio of mixed seafood ceviche (Trilogía de Ceviche) and the octopus (Pulpito Herradura) as recommended and both especially the octopus were spectacular! The seafood was so fresh; I particularly liked the mixed components in the ceviche even more than the fish, which was good in and of itself but the star was that pulpito... we were secretly fighting for those last pieces of octopus and potatoes. We sat outside on a cooler night and we heard sounds of the fountain close by. The food is top tier!! Best food experience ever. What can I say, the ambience, the food, the staff, everything was right. Took my team out for a Friday night on the town and stumbled onto this place without reservation. They were so accommodating even though half of our party was running really late due to traffic. First time visiting CVI.CHE 105, and a Peruvian restaurant, and I did not expect this level of quality. First of all, it's located within the Aventura Mall. Don't let that dissuade you, because this restaurant exudes NYC quality on every level. The interior is gorgeous. However, If you prefer outside seating, especially this time of year, not only will they oblige, but large propane heaters will keep you toasty. As you're being escorted to your table, you start to take in the elegance, grandeur, and decor that surrounds each patron. I was blown away and they did an outstanding job at going above and beyond with leaving a lasting impression. Service was just as stellar as the food. Staff members kept everyone comfortable, dining from clean dishes, and maintained water glasses constantly full. Let's start with something that I've never been presented.....complimentary plantain chips/pine nuts, with a cilantro dipping sauce. It was very good and I appreciated the textures of every ingredient. My drink was a Coconut Margarita and it was splendid. Well presented, plenty of rim salt, and every sip was smooth. The entrees were: Lomo Soltado (a traditional Peruvian dish, a stir-fry that combines marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, french fries, and other ingredients, with white rice). This dish was LARGE, had to be shared, the spices exploded in your mouth, and I loved mixing the brown sauce with the rice/fries/onions/peppers. Next was the Ceviche Alconero Clasico De Toda La Vida (white fish in cubes, classic leche de tigre, lime, and limo pepper). Last was the Perricholi Roll (crispy rice bites topped with with mancora tuna, rocoto aioli, house-made sauce, and truffle oil). Both of these dishes were filling, not overly fishy, and you could taste the quality of each ingredient and presentation. I cannot commend, and recommend, CVI.CHE 105, enough. This was a hearty and flavorful dish, and the table also enjoyed a pan-fried fish entrée. Someone else ordered the chicken and rice, and I went with the grilled red snapper (no butter) served with a fresh salad and steamed veggies (broccoli and asparagus). My dish was light, healthy, and nicely cooked. My server was just standing there doing nothing and I had to ask the manager to get a refill for my drink. I will give the waiter full points for knowing the menu and making suggestions but our overall experience was sub par. They serve you plantains with corn kernels while waiting for your order which was nice but I'm not a big fan... I don't really like its texture. One thing that really stood out to me was their security, he was very attentive and asking all of us one by one how are we enjoying our food. I was the last one left at the bar and his cute gesture was grabbing the beer bottle, looking through inside it if there was still some beer left and poured it on my Michelada's, that was cute and it made me laugh! I went over the weekend and the service was impeccable. We went with two dogs on the larger side (probably not a smart idea on my part on a Saturday) but they welcomed them openly finding us a quiet spot and brought them each a bowl of cool water. The food was delicious as always. What I love about this place is I remember going to the original location years ago and even though they have expanded you can tell they focus on delivering great service with wonderful food. We got a filet minon appetizer, an oyster with a gold flake, a soft taco, and of course ceviche (I love the mystirioso with a bit more spice and corvina only). Before I dive into this review I do want to say the food is 10/10. You will not regret eating here especially the quality and flavor. Our waitress Maria was amazing, knowledgeable and very sweet. However, there is an opportunity for improving reservations and accommodations. We were not seated on time and I witnessed many other patrons tables being delayed or pushed together with others. It is a very busy restaurant, so always book a reservation just to ensure you at least get a seat, delayed or not. Initially I felt we would be late and after calling, they said there was nothing else available. This continues to be my go to spot for the Aji De Gallina dish. I have yet to find someone who does it like they do here. I've had other dishes here as well and they never miss with the flavors. The food came out very fast, although it wasn't busy when I went. One thing to highlight: They have three sauces. I didn't catch the names (green one, pink one, and red one) but all were unique and added a great kick of flavor to the meal. The inside is very pretty and vibrant with colors and decor from the Peruvian culture. Bathrooms were also squeaky clean, which is always a tell of their attention to detail. The service was also excellent. I noticed the staff work like a team, helping each other with running food and picking up plates from tables. Here was my only hiccup with the service. When paying for the bill, our server became noticeably pushy about leaving a Google review. They definitely have some sort of incentive for this. My husband had a pisco sour, which was also pretty good. Since I love ceviche I started with the classic white fish ceviche which was more than enough for an appetizer! Civ.che 105 - Aventura Mall Can it be? My first review of 2025? My party of 3 adults and a 3 year old visited after shopping mainly because they had fish on their menu. Upon entry, we were seated promptly after requesting the outdoor option (it was a beautiful day); and soon greeted by our waiter, Camilo. We were waiting for one of the three adults to show up, so we ordered drinks and browsed the menu while we waited. After everyone in the party was present, it did take a lengthy time for Camilo to return to take our order, and when he did, he seemed impatient, albeit still pleasant. When the food came out, the presentation was 5 stars, especially the fish (when I heard debone, in my head I never pictured the bone would be part of the plate, I just assumed we would only get filets of flesh). I actually had sushi, but I tried all the dishes that were ordered, and all were mostly delicious. However, the shrimp, and the kids meal fish sticks were a bit too salty. The other two meals were preferably prepared. The restaurant is equipped with high chairs for children. They also provided a drawing sheet of paper and 2 different color crayons for coloring. This place is located near the Apple store and food court just on the bottom floor. I normally park in the garage close by. Service has also been very good and the environment matches.
