This behavior wouldn't fly in a corporate environment but since it's a small business he can do whatever he wants. With that being said, the Pokémon community is extremely Toxic and clique. It's not how it was 20 years ago. Also, prices arent that great as they are little over retail price. I recommend going to a shop that's more friendly. I can't say much for TCGs, but every time I'm in the shop, there is always some activity with trading/selling or games being played on the handful of tables set up in the shop. My son and I have been RC customers here for nearly a year and the owner (Michael) and crew are friendly and willing. There is a good selection of popular ARRMA, Losi, Axial and Traxxas vehicles and just about every single new release is in the shop within a few days. There is a curated collection of popular race vehicles behind the counter as well as Kyosho Mini-Z and handful of more specialized brands that only enthusiast hobbyist would even know about like Xpress, MST, and Corally to name a few. There is a small selection of planes and helicopters, and I've been able to have the shop order kits that are more obscure and have it be available within a week or so. I've found the prices to be the same as what is advertised on larger online retailers like Horizon Hobby, A-Main, or Tower Hobbies; Hobby Addicts does have a loyalty program, so I do appreciate that the business understands your patronage is important to them. More importantly, every dollar spent at a local business ends up within the community, so come on out and support your local hobby shop!

Upon check-out the clerk (her name was Paige), asked me if I wanted to customize the trays. Whaaatt? Yes please! I appreciate Paige suggesting this as I had no idea this was offered. Not only do the trays look awesome, but how wonderful that Paige offered to do this, even though it was 5-minutes to closing. To the owner of the store, Paige and the other person working stayed an additional 15-'minutes, and did it with a smile on their faces. Im coming back this week to customize more items for the children in my family. This is going to make Christmas gifts easy and special. What was most disappointing was witnessing behavior from the service desk that appeared discriminatory and inappropriate. Staff members were criticizing two older women who appeared to be a couple and then seemed to have security guards keep an eye on them for no apparent reason. Watching customers be treated that way was uncomfortable and unacceptable. Good products can only go so far when the customer experience is this poor. I hope management addresses the behavior of their staff and creates a more respectful environment for everyone.

I have not seen many back issues with the exception of wall comics. They have a pretty large area of clearance $1 comics on the left side of the store which seem to be 2-3 years old books. I like that these $1 boxes are on tables and my back appreciates that they are easy to sort through. They also have an inventory of collected editions which includes trade paperbacks, hardcovers, omnibus, and compendiums. The owner Kerry has tried to help me find some obscure current comic books a couple times which I appreciate. The staff have all been helpful and easy to work with. I believe they do a significant amount of business in trading card/game card these days, but still have a respectable comic offering.
