Ah, the fragrance of chocolate & sugar gently greets you at the door. A deep breath girds me to be strong among prewrapped candy boxes and that glass-enclosed counter, neatly arranged samples inside. A woman in white with black trim patiently takes direction from an overwhelmed and indecision filled customer to complete a custom box. I feel you. A plan works. Some candy goals. We've developed mental toughness having years of exposure to this most wondrous chocolate institution and their time-stood-still shops, just like when I was a kid. This store though is spacious, a See's associate coming around with a sample tray. Parking was no problem. We grabbed a box of Cinnamon Little Pops and a half pound of California Brittle in milk chocolate. They were out of our favorite dark. See's Candies is so nostalgic for me. I love visiting the stores and trying their seasonal candies and getting my usual treats. The candies here bring me back to my childhood of getting boxes of see's gifted during the holidays. The store is located across from the SF premium outlets. There is a ton of parking in the lot so no worries about that. The store is huge with a ton to select from. I love building my own box with all of my favorite candies. To name a few, I love the cashew brittle, divinity puff, polar bear claw, scotchmallow, walnut square, Boudreaux, molasses chips, butterscotch squares, and the list goes on. Jeanette helped us and she made my boyfriend's first See's experience memorable. The service here is superior. I have never had a bad experience with any See's employees. I had a wonderful experience with Jeanette on 8/17! We were due to travel to London in a few days and we wanted to pick out some gifts for our family. She helped us pick out chocolates and gave us the freshest batches because she knew they wouldn't be consumed for a few days. She also gift wrapped each box beautifully. We took almost an hour of her time, but she was so patient and sweet with us. I appreciated all the time she took to get our order perfect! I've always liked Sees Candy, continue to do so. I think this place is good but as with all places it has a lot to do wit the employees. I don't know if its because of the holiday, so ill give a 4 star instead of a 3 but the ladies inside were either tired or lazy. I went 30 minutes after opening to buy a custom box of chocolates, they told me that all the milk chocolate was sold out and they referred me to the prepackaged boxes along the wall. When i went to the counter, all the chocolates in the display box were there, an abundance of milk, dark, and white chocolate were in view. So, as i was paying I decided to ask the guy at the register if i could custom make custom box of chocolates and he was happy to oblige. So i not really sure what the ladies walking around the store were talking about, but i ended up getting my custom box just fine. read more

The quality of chocolates at Sees Candy is renown to locals and out of town guest. I just shopped at Livermore Outlets and saw the Sees Candy Shop. I was looking to purchase chocolates for my next neighborhood drop off and take advantage of 'outlet' prices. I was told by the manager that if I purchased $500.00 of chocolates, there would be a 15% discount. Dayna, sales associate was kind in clarifying the details of the products that qualified for the 15% discount. This was critical as the products that I wanted didn't qualify. Because of Dayna, I still went ahead and purchased alot of chocolates with no discount. The manager should have provided detailed disclosure of promotions. Thank you Dayna. Mmmmmm chocolate! With current restrictions going on, I prefer to limit myself inside a store. Easy and convenient online ordering makes things easier. Valentines weekend also makes this shop more busier than usual. I got my email confirmation that my order was ready for pick up. The shop will hold your order for 2 days. I arrived at the shop and they had a line formed to enter the shop and a separate line for Online and Door Dash orders which is much appreciated since the line to enter was a bit long. I went to the Online pick up line waited for a few minutes and See's retrieved my order. Factory wrapped samples were included in my bag along with a coupon for Easter. Quick, Easy and painless to get See's at its busy time. Plenty of parking available. read more

Premium Outlets. this area is experiencing continued rapid growth. even Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway has decided to open a See's Candies outlet. not a small one. 50% bigger than all the others. usual stocks of chocolates on shelves-some discounted, some at full price. there's a counter where one can customize ur own box. coupon 5 off for $35 purchase for a limited time. buys: "sugar free" dark chocolate (1.5 oz-2.35) -200 calories, very satisfying semi sweet chocolate bar. -eating less chocolate as it isn't diet friendly. this one's great. -also received a free piece of chcolate while i was browsing. nice! read more

This store is a gem. Product selection is plentiful, store is spacious, clean and every encounter I have had with their staff has been pleasant and friendly. (I come here fairly often because my husband is a chocolate fan and See's is his absolute favorite for over 40 years!) Parking is convenient and plentiful. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They have always offered a sample and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. In particular, I recently inquired about a special order for some wedding favors. Andrew answered all my questions, searched for the store nearby my event and did several on the spot calculations of the total cost, which was very accommodating and helpful. What started off as a great experience became very frustrating. Placed an order for pick up so that I could avoid the crazy holiday line. I got a call as they were picking my order as one of my items was out of stock. The person who called was absolutely fantastic, great customer service, she let me know the store opens at 10 and my order would be ready. I arrived there a few minutes after the store opened. There was already a long line. I was told curtly that everyone needed to wait in line even for pre-orders. I have a sick kid at home with the flu and the entire purpose of placing an order online was to avoid the wait in the store. I ended up waiting a half hour in line to pick up an order that was ready to go when I walked in. If I had not already paid, I would have left. Sees has been a family tradition of mine since I was a kid. This experience leaves me wondering if it's worth it next year. read more

It a big store has lots of candy, but service was not consistent and lacks attention to detail. The person helping me was busy having a conversation with another co-worker did not bother to greet me, & I was browsing for a good 5-10 minutes. Had to go up to the counter to get service and the person helping didn't even put in the right order for me, even though I specifically told her each order, was a bit dissatisfied & quite disappointed with the treatment I received.
