We were offered a free sample of the liquid filled chocolate which was nice but the staff member helping us was very lackadaisical. When I asked which chocolate was better or more popular he had basically no response. Same goes for when we were asking about the bonbons. It just seemed that he did not care about chocolate at all, which is fine, but not a great person to have selling your product. We ended up purchasing a box of mixed bonbons and liquid filled chocolates. Overall the chocolate was fine but not amazing. I enjoyed the scotch filled dark chocolate the most and my husband said the hazelnut truffle was pretty good. If you enjoy chocolate this is still worth a visit if you are in town, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop in.

His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for his craft were evident in every minute of the experience. And the products? Absolutely phenomenal. I can honestly say every single wine and every single chocolate was outstanding. The Moscato, sparkling wines, and red wines were all incredible. The chocolate pairings elevated everything even further. The turtles, brittle, chocolate-covered raisins, chocolate-covered strawberries... every bite was memorable. It was one of those rare experiences where you keep waiting for something to be "just okay," but it never happens because everything is exceptional. Since we're both salted caramel fans, we were sold. Careful when you're looking for it (and you should), since it's got a small sign and the window is on the side of the building. (See pics) We can fully endorse the review that brought us; the salted caramel crunch was absolutely amazing. Steve uses top shelf ingredients and makes his own caramel. The ice cream is smooth and delicious. It's creamy (but not the gooey, mouth coating stuff made by a mega corporation pretending to be Scandanvian). There are chocolate chunks, about 1/8" thick, probably made from the quality chocolate that they use for other flavors. It's like home made if the person at home was an expert chef. I can't wait to go back.

All of the cakes, cupcakes, chocolates and ice cream were made in the shop and you could watch as they did it. Everything looked absolutely delicious within the display case! We ordered our coffee (just plain coffee) at the Cafe and then grabbed a slice of carrot cake with two scoops of ice cream from the bakery. Everything was delicious, the woman behind the counter was very sweet and I loved being able to watch them whip up all the tasty treats! The seating area was kept very clean and it had a nice view of the surrounding marketplace. I would definitely go back and try more items!
