Unfortunately, as of November 2025 they no longer sell the Unicorn Poop candy. I purchased Amaretto fudge. It was fine but I won't rush back just for that. They did have several other flavors that sounded yummy, such ad banana and churro. Service was polite. Tiny and cute candy shop. read more

My 2nd shop stop in Fredericksburg, TX, was at Big Pop's Popcorn Company. What a fun and an amazing little shop with tons of snacks and goodies! It has that old carnival feel to it... very nostalgic with a variety of novelties. The first thing I saw was the kettle corn rack. I love kettle corn and they have many flavors. I didn't buy one for myself though... instead I got one for my dear friend... it's her birthday... birthday cake flavor was fitting for the occasion. As I walked through the aisles, the wall of jelly beans caught my eyes... love my jelly beans and they have so many flavors. Again, I didn't buy any for myself (trying to cut down on sugar... at least I had some self control while I was in this shop LOL)... I got some jelly beans for my friend though... 3 flavors - birthday cake (perfect!), green apple (my #1 fav!), tutti-fruitti. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Prices were reasonable. Awesome shop in Fredericksburg!! Not sure how long they've been there but I don't recall having seen them before on my prior visits some years back. They ambiance lends to a bit of nostalgia from childhood :) Welcoming people, quick service and a lot to look at! Had I regressed to my 8 year old self, would have purchased way too much candy!!! They carry several nostalgic candies from back in the day, taffies, fudge, popcorn, and more. I went specifically for popcorn!! Grabbed 2 big bags, one salted caramel, the other kettle popcorn. Filled with so many novelties this place was vey fun to visit. Not too many vegan options but they did have a lot of the classics. I love popcorn! All kinds and flavors and I must say I was disappointed. The popcorn was not fresh and was stale. I purchased the cheese popcorn and they put so much cheese seasoning in it you don't really taste the popcorn. Aside from being stale the bag had nothing but crumbs in it. Don't bother purchasing anything from this store and save your $6.99 on something else. read more

This spot has a lot of cool candies that will bring back childhood memories to many folks. While the customer service is great and the fudge was pretty awesome, I wasn't so impressed with the popcorn. I was impressed with the HUGE variety of old school candies, different flavors of fudge, and the all-around fun vibe the place has. If you've got the kids, or have a hankerin' for some candy from your childhood, stop in and have a looksie! It's definitely a fun spot with plenty to see. :) read more

Wasn't having the best of luck with customer service in Fredericksburg during our day trip until we stepped into this place. We walked in and we're greeted very kindly by the staff and were offered popcorn samples before our purchase. This was the Texas hospitality that I'm used to and am blown away by the fact that no one else in Fredericksburg was like that during our visit. Definitely a great place to drop in. It's not directly on Main Street but it's right off a side street. Not only is the service great but the popcorn is deliciously fresh and yummy. We got a couple bags of the popcorn and my favorite is the Dill Pickle flavored popcorn. Probably the best popcorn I've ever had. Plus they have a wall of candies to chose from, which my husband couldn't get enough of. The service is reason enough to stop by but the popcorn is a definite winner too. read more

I'm a huge fan of candy so I had to stop in. This place had all sorts of unique candy, as well as self-serve candy by weight. Most of the candy isn't sold in stores so there are a lot of unique things available. I walked out with a big bag of all sorts of candy and chocolates. Peanut butter on popcorn. Oh. My. God. I am crazy about peanut butter, but not necessary crazy about popcorn. I like popcorn just fine, but it doesn't make me lose my mind or anything. However, Just Pop-N's peanut butter popcorn DOES make me lose my mind!! If you love PB, you HAVE to try it. They use REAL peanut butter, y'all, and you really taste it. It's popcorn like I've never had it! I couldn't stop eating it once I started. Sublime, all the more so bc I didn't expect to ever fall in love with a popcorn. The owner/manager who helped us was great too-- so personable and helpful, he has a most appealing way with people. Thank you!! I will definitely come back here when we come to Fred next-- i can't think of a better way to feed my peanut butter fix! read more

Stopped in here yesterday while walking around the downtown area. We were totally drawn in by the lovely smell of buttery popcorn goodness! We were greeted by the owner who was super nice and she suggested that we try some samples! My favorite was the dill pickle and butter flavors! My husband decided his was the cookie butter and purchased a bag to go. As we were leaving she gave us a card and said that we could order and have it shipped when we were ready for more! They have more candy than popcorn here, but the popcorn is delicious! 2 samples max per person so my hubby and i tried dill pickle, salted caramel, butter, and cheese. we ended up buying a small bag (6 cups) of the salted caramel. tastes just like cracker jack. really fresh and still crunchy 3 days later. surprisingly we really liked dill pickle also. butter and cheese were very buttery and cheesy and a tad salty. salted caramel had a good mix of salty sweet. read more

It's a shame that Popcorn Emporium has the spotlight location-wise over this place, because this place is just insanely better. It's so good. It was one of my favorite places during my visit. The dill, pizza, and buffalo popcorn were all off the chart awesome. I will be ordering by mail from now on for special occasions. Service was fantastic, you could tell everyone was happy to be there (guessing they owned the place?). It's a bit hidden around the corner sadly. I recently visited the Hill Country with some girlfriends. We managed to stop at three different gourmet popcorn stores in three different areas. Just Pop-N's staff was very slow in welcoming us. We all asked for two or three samples. This seemed to irritate the lady handing them out. I can tolerate a small bag of stale popcorn....I cant tolerate bad customer service. read more

This is an awesome place. Whether you want gourmet popcorn, or candy which is new and unusual, or old and classic, this place has it all. To top it off, the owners and helpers are super friendly and family oriented. Amazing place and a regular stop on our trips through town. Be sure to try the dr. Such a fun shop and a must for Fredericksburg. We stopped by to get some of the candy and saw the popcorn samples. We tried the Caramel flavor and also the Dill Pickle. We decided to get a small bag to eat while we shopped. After going down Main Street we came back and bought a bigger bag of cheese flavored popcorn. My husband and I were lucky to visit Just Pop-N during their grand opening last year. We couldn't wait to go back this year. It's such a cute little shop, and everyone there is very friendly. We got dill mixed with jalapeño cheddar last week. And white cheddar for the kid. And they brought back grape and banana! (Don't knock it till you try it! It keeps my sweet tooth at bay.) They're generous with samples and ALWAYS welcoming. We go to Wimberley just for popcorn. That's about 45 minutes for popcorn. Yep. That good!!

Classic kettle corn is always a great choice. Some salt water taffy pieces in the flavors of green apple, cotton candy, orange cream, and grape. Smells so good when you walk in. I just like that popcorn smell. So much to look at when you come in. They have some old fashion candies, they have tin buckets for popcorn with all kinds of prints .they have gift boxes that are completely customizable. Great place for gifts.

They have a much bigger selection of products then I would have figured. Books on Texas and food, Candy both mass and local, mints, chapstick, tins, and Popcorn! There are the main flavors listed and they seem to have either monthly or seasonal offerings. There is a display of each bag size near the front filled with popcorn so you can see how much you get with the smallest to the biggest which is a nice touch. They have bulk candy and soda's as well. There is some neat and fun decor and a whole throwback vibe. It was a cool place to visit, glad we did. Chances are we will be back at some point, No other customers while we were there. The gentleman running the place was very nice and patient as we took our time looking over everything. My wife picked 4 types of popcorn and got small bags of each. I can't remember all that she picked but the ZILKER PARK was the best of the four. I would suggest checking this place out,

I liked how they had each area sectioned off. My son and his girlfriend got a bag and started to pick out what they wanted. My husband and I did the same. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a hit or miss on taste. The Champaign gummy bears were pretty hard to chew. They tasted like they'd been sitting there awhile. We also picked out some chocolate bears that had a very tart inside, not a fan. Everything else was pretty tasty. I liked the white chocolate covered Oreos and chocolate covered cherries. We also tried some round candies that tasted like birthday cake. Overall, I would definitely come back but out more thought into what I want to try. I let my eyes tell me what I wanted to try. Lol
