Even though mgr David is working by himself he continues to offer everything possible to every customer. It took 6 minutes to get our food. I've been to this location many times but this time I go to order chicken but I want 2 breast with my order and I'm told that they don't have any ready and I said I'll wait and was told that they can't make the breast until the dark meat is finished, who does that. Two times in a row now order has not come with sauces that were ordered/charged for and gives the wrong desserts. No napkins. It's not that hard to read the DoorDash ticket, why ask what I want if you don't put it in the bag or give the wrong items. Last in-person order did not receive any of the sauces ordered/PAID for or honey while ordering a bulk/family box that cost nearly $50. Inside could be cleaned more often. You're getting a bad review over not giving sauces that were PAID for. One time I can let go but 3 times paying for items and not receiving them is ridiculous. We anxiously awaited for the opening of this Popeye's restaurant. We have been Popeye's customers for years when we lived in the Atlanta area. This Popeye's is such a disappointment. We have been to this Popeyes three times over the last few months. Each time, our order was wrong. It appears the employees can not count or have any idea that chicken has both white and dark meat. We have never gotten the amount of chicken we ordered. The wait time to get your order is about 15 minutes. The chicken has always been overcooked and dry. The taste of the chicken is lacking the spicey flavor of other Popeye's.The sweet tea is weak with very little sugar. I hope they improve. read more

I wanted to try your newly-opened store, so I stopped there earlier today. Nice, new, clean store with friendly and helpful employees, and the food wasn't bad either. But sadly, there were two problems. 1) I had read your on-line menu yesterday, found an item that looked good, and went in only to be told, "Oh, that and other items have to be ordered using our phone App, then picked up here or delivered, that's why you're not seeing it here on our menu." WHAT??!! Not everyone uses a phone App, or delivery. 2) I had to settle for two pieces of dark-meat chicken, a tiny bowl of red beans & rice, and one biscuit ... even with a Senior Discount ... it cost me almost NINE DOLLARS! That's WAY overpriced! I can get the same amount of food at KFC for half that amount. Here in Bullhead City, a lower middle class community, you won't stay in business long with those high prices. Decided to eat at Popeys today at 2pm. There were about 5 cars in drive-thru so I went inside to order. Lobby was full of people waiting but only 2 customers in front of me. I waited until it was my turn to order, that's when I discovered what schools are teaching our youth. The kid asked the people in front of me what his name was. He said it was George, the kid proceeded to spell his name. It went just like this, "Georgr". Now George is a easy name to spell and this poor kid couldn't get it. I think to myself, "Wow". Okay now it's my turn, he asks me my name and I tell him Keith. Thank God he asked me to spell it for him. Now I've been waiting for a 4 piece meal for about 10 minutes and there are still several people waiting that were before me. Popeye's finally sends a meal out and a lady comes up to the counter and asks why the person that was after her got her meal first. This is when the store manager comes into play. The manager tells her they are waiting on chicken to cook. So me being me I started to pay attention to their operation. They had about 12 workers in there and no one seemed to know they were doing except 2 regular workers. As I looked around there was plenty of chicken on the racks and the old folks in front of me only ordered 3 pieces of chicken and 2 biscuits. The kid that took their order and mine was setting up boxes and receipts for orders to be filled. No one was filling the orders and the manager with the long colorful hair was doing nothing to process the orders. After 20 minutes I had finished my drink and refilled it when a guy comes up and asks about his meal. They tell him sorry about the wait but it will be here soon. When they finally called him he told them he had been waiting 35 minutes for his meal. Soon they called another order out and it was a guy doing uber eats or something. He's checking the meal to make sure he has everything for his customer and says he's missing the drink. So the not so smart kid gives him a regular size drink. The man shows the kid the receipt showing he had ordered a 44 oz. drink. The kid takes it back only to bring back a 32 oz. drink. The man asks him is this a 44os.drink? The kid responds that it is. He says it's kind of light for a 44os drink and the manager gets stopped and questioned. She confirms that it is the wrong size and gets the man a 44 oz. drink. The guy was shocked at the stupidity of the staff there and started to talk to me about the service. I told him if the time gets to 35 minutes for my order then I'm going to ask for a refund and go to KFC. He said KFC has a good manager and they get the orders out. So as time goes by I hit 35 minutes and like all the other people waiting I ask how much longer? They say 5 more minutes. Tired of waiting I ask for my money back. It only took a couple of minutes to get my money back on my card. Note to myself to check my bank account to make sure they didn't double charge me. Anyway I go to KFC across the parking lot. I placed my order at the drive-thru, paid at the window and received my simple order in under 5 minutes. Now I like Popeye's chicken better than KFC and was glad to get one in Bullhead City, but this Popeye's won't last long like this. The manager has no leadership skills whatsoever. She can't give direction or take charge of her operation, no training to personnel. The only person that showed any leadership was another kid giving the dumb kid instructions to fill the orders that can be filled instead of just setting up a line of receipts for someone else to fill. The owner or corporation of this store really needs to take a look at who they have hired because they are failing badly. If only they could remember the 7 P's, (Proper, Prior, Planning, Prevents, Piss, Poor, Performance). I WON'T BE EATING THERE AGAIN FOR A LONG TIME. read more
