Called this morning to inquire about the Turkeys. Advised they were approximately 20 pounds for $55.00. Brought it home along with 8 pieces of slightly dry chicken. I'm so happy to see Popeyes expand to another lil town. This place is excellent for there chicken and there Cajun mash potatoes n of course there biscuits. Stopped in here a while back and got the 2 pc spicy chicken and a ice tea. It's the best chicken in town hands down. The service and the inside was spotless and it didn't take long to get my order. Horrible place. Long drive thru line, sat for 10 minutes without moving. Parked and went inside. No one acknowledged me at the counter, one male employee walked by me twice and said nothing. 3 employees by the back wall looking at a phone and laughing, one male employee looked up and saw me but went back to what he was doing. The drive thru girl was sitting down picking at her nails. Another customer came in complaining of uncooked food. I left immediately. Went to KFC and was out of there in 5 minutes. read more

This location is a constant disappointment with extreme wait times, incorrect orders, hit & miss food quality, and employees that just don't care. We took some time off from visiting this Popeyes, but gave it another chance last Tuesday, 2/4/25, around 6:30pm. We ordered three combo meals. All three sides were wrong (missing in one case), two out of three drinks were wrong, the dipping sauces were wrong, and we even received whole pieces of chicken & not the chicken strips we ordered for one of the meals. We already waited an extremely long time in line, but thought it would be worth parking and addressing inside. We were ignored & gave up. 1/10 do not recommend. read more

First of all, we've never had Popeyes chicken from this location. Eaten at several other locations and always delicious. This location needs "0" stars! Placed a delivery order through GrubHub (never had problems w/ them.) Ordered biscuits, 6-piece Gar.Parm bone-in wings, and 4-piece Classic chicken meal. Delivered in a timely manner. The 4 piece was going to be for 2 people but that's not what we received. We got 3 flattened chicken strips w/ fries, biscuit, and drink. Certainly not enough chicken for 2 adults. Tasted okay. Wasn't like Popeye's chicken we've had at other locations. One adult in the house ate the bone in wings and said they were the worst wings they had eaten anywhere and didn't taste like garlic parm and mentioned the "sauce" stuff was hardly on the wings but mostly at the bottom of the box. We will NEVER eat food from this Popeyes again. The manager didn't know what happened and said we could drive there and get the correct order, but I said we were not going to drive 13-15 miles one way. We were reimbursed through GrubHub. Ordered through the app around 8:30 PM. App said they don't close until 10:00 PM, but when I arrived at 9:00 PM they had already closed their drive thru. I pulled up to the window to ask about my order to see if they just had it sitting but the lady just kept shouting "We're closed!" Through the closed window and kept waving me off to leave. Eventually the worker walked away and I parked in their parking lot and tried to call to see if they could cancel my order but they wouldn't even pick up their phone. Let me contribute to their horrible review rating!!! Waited in drive through line for over 20 minutes. Got to the window and realized I left my bill fold at home. I had my checkbook though. Manager said they only take cash and credit, but when you have my meal in a sack at the window, why would you not take my check instead of throwing my complete order into the trash? Maybe they want to save it until somebody else orders parts of the same? Come on! I understand you're managing a fast food place, but be a manager and use some dang common sense. This store is messy. I would like to rate it with 0 star, but system doesn't let you. At first glance, you can see the glass doors dirty, a piece of chewing gum sticked on, bathrooms were not cleaned up, toilets paper holders broken and they were over at a corner, kitchen floor full of flour and oily. The employees were a bunch of young guys having fun in the kitchen area with a blasting noise coming from a radio. Every single dinner table was dirty, full of crumbs, on the floor you can see many used napkins under the tables. The chicken was dry and salty, rice and beans also tasted like if they were not fresh. The lid of the aluminum container where they keep the brewed tea was misplaced, tea was uncovered and with insects floating on the surface of the tea, also, when I asked the store manager about the lid, he said " I don't know I just got here" BAD, TERRIBLE, MANAGEMENT SERVICE. Went through drive through was asked to park and wait. After 15 minutes went in. Served grabbed a bag and asked if this was our sandwich, my wife said I don't know what sandwich is in the bag how would we know, she checked it, it looked like it was and the server said the toaster wasn't working so the bun wasn't toasted and my wife said "so?" No getting his point of why it took so long and he said the F'ing toaster is broke, my wife looked over at the manager who said nothing, did nothing and gave her a negative look so my wife grabbed the bag and left. Got home son opened it and the order barely had any fries in the fry bag either. The Centerton Popeyes has no focus on customer service, going there during day is a risk of getting out in timely matter or getting g your order right, they stay open until 10 but stop cooking a lot of the items at 9 so if you go in late they won't have a lot of the menu. This review is not about this particular store but about their Cajun style Turkeys you can purchase for 60.00. Do Not Waste your money. Followed directions to a T, the flavor was bland like taking a normal turkey and adding spices on the outside. I also bought a smoked butter ball turkey breast from the grocery store for a lot cheaper and it was delicious and totally moist. Thought I was going to get something special that is why I paid the extra price. Save your money expensive lesson learned. read more

The employee did not want to give us our drinks because she stated that they were not on the receipt even though I showed her the order in the app. They also would not give us the sauce that we ordered with our $70 order even though we paid for it. Customer service was spot on from the drive thru to the pickup window. The staff were extremely polite and very accommodating. However that's were it stops. The food was underwhelming at best. Our fries were barely warm and had a stale taste as if they had prepared to many in advance and left them underneath the warming light too long. Our sandwiches (spicy chicken were hot but more on the soggy side. The bun had absorbed too much condensation in the bag and the chicken really didn't have any crunch as well. I feel as though it had been prepared too far in advance as well and left to sit in a warming bin. I have eaten at Popeyes in other locations and states and have generally had a good experience, but cannot begin to describe how awful this experience was. To begin with it took over 45 minutes to go through the drive through including a 5 minute wait at the window after I paid for my order. Figured they must have been running out of something and were making fresh. Boy was that a wrong guess. The chicken was dry and hard looking like it had been sitting under a warmer for hours. The mashed potatoes were also cold and dry. The biscuits could easily double for hockey pucks given their hardness. Not sure what anyone was doing as there were no customers at the counter while I was sitting at the pickup window and everyone I could see was just standing around inside. Then they gave me someone else's receipt when I finally got my order. Absolutely a terrible experience. Will definitely not be returning to this location and given the extremely negative experience it is unlikely I will ever try Popeyes anywhere again. read more

My experience tonight (5/3/2021) was downright awful. A simple mistake could have been taken care of with a little courtesy. I ordered a Bigger Family Meal and a Cajun Flounder sandwich. 5 chicken sandwiches (inlcuded in the meal) were not in the bag when I got home. I immediately drove back to the location and explained to the very nice kid at the counter what my problem was. She got the manager and I got plenty of attitude from him. He begrudgingly replaced the sandwiches, put them in a bag, and threw them at me (literally!) He never apologized for their mistake. Just plenty of attitude. I will NEVER return to this location. The manager needs massive amounts of customer service training. I run a small graphic arts firm and I would have fired anyone who behaved like that to a customer--BTW, I never copped an attitude and I was never unkind. But, I will never go back. Spent $75 on cold food. Not worth it. read more
