We came to this Popeyes location around 930ish to order our late dinner. We would rate this place 4/5 stars. It's one of the smaller locations, take out only, and there were two employees one in the back and one in the front. We ordered the family combo- 8pc chicken. It was more than enough for two of us. The only thing that was amiss was missing jelly's to go with our biscuits. But all in all the experience was decent. We will be back again when craving Popeyes chicken. I'm usually worry that establishments featuring cuisines outside their origin market won't be as good - but this Popeyes absolutely served! I expected it to be less modern and older-feel since it was a tenant space in a strip mall but walking in, I see it was completely renovated and featured touch-screen kiosks. I typically prefer human interactions, so the only reason this spot gets full marks from me is because of Renisha (I believe was her name, give her a raise!) welcomed customers and interacted with us in a way that was very accomdating. She also helped us when the kiosk didn't give us full options or was confusing. I even conversed in a very convinial manner with my fellow patrons in a third-place like way I could not have anticipated. There's no dine-in option, so when I got home the food was still warm (much of it hot), the sauce delicious, the chicken right and crispy, and even the blueberry lemonade was scrumptious - my favorite though was that mac' and cheese, which was the right kind of creamy and cheesy. This restaurant is only for take out, pick up, and delivery. There are two in store kiosks to take your order and an open kitchen. No tables or chairs. I ordered the new Honey BBQ wings. WHAT! For a fast food chain, I love popeyes. They have the best crispy chicken sandwich around. And they have a spicy version. This particular location is not a sit-down spot but more of an order ahead, pick up, and go kind of situation. Which is a clever way of compensating for not having a drive-thru. They do have two kiosks set up, but the last time I was there, they were not working yet. I guess the idea was to go contactless in light of the pandemic. When your food is ready they place in on this shelf that is accessible from their side and the customer side so you can just pick it up. Oh - and they have the better biscuit. It's moist and buttery. What a wonderful surprise this week to see that a yummy little piece of Cajun Country is nearby in Davie. They are located in the Town and Country Shoppes where Whole Foods, Hobby Lobby and Bed, Bath & Beyond are housed. I downloaded the app, selected my meal, paid via Apple Pay and drove there. The most challenging part of this new boutique-style eatery is the parking. Given that they do not have a drive-thru, you have to circle around and around, and around several times in this busy plaza. Besides that, let me tell you it's all up and moving forward from there. They have two walk-up digital ordering stations, as well as the regular ones in the front counter. They also offer family meals, which are currently hand-written. The food is made-to-order fresh and hearty as we all know and love. I hope to keep coming around for lunch often and wish the business owners here stupendous success!! read more

Ordered through the app. for pickup while at the restaurant. Was given the wrong bag and didn't realize it until I had driven home. Called the store and they took my name down. Two days later showed up and they replaced the entire order although I was able to eat the wrongly received order. Took care of me after showing them my online order history. This is a kiosk ordering/No drive through Popeyes. I say this because you would think the orders would be right seeing as how you are inputting exactly what you want into a giant screen. I've been here three times. First time was fine, second time they forgot my fries and the soda was flat like the machine out of the sierra mist and was just seltzer. Today I ordered a 12 piece family meal, two apple pies, 5 biscuits, small mac and cheese and large Mash/Gravy and Cajun fries on the app. The order said it would be ready at 11:15am, when I got there it was not even begun to be prepared. That's fine I don't mind waiting, but there was someone in front of me who when they got their order was missing an item. She told the guy "I'm missing the Mash/gravy and his response was "No you arent." After her I got my order 15 late which again...fine I get it you were busy but when I get my order I take it outside and when I checked it the biscuits were missing. When I went back inside the guy goes "Oh bro I forgot these" and handed me the five biscuits. When I got home and opening the chicken i noticed it only had 8 pieces instead of twelve. Not a big deal really but I paid for 12 pieces and its not cheap. Also the Mash/Gravy was small and I paid for the large. Three stars for convenience but service is ass. Make sure you check your order before you leave the store no matter have much they stare at you cause you will be missing stuff. Food was tasty at least. Hard to see bad reviews on this place. But it seems like they all came from 5-6 months ago. I didn't even know this Popeyes existed till now. Seems like a lot has changed since their violation and bad reviews. Everything was pretty smooth. I ordered on the app. And got my food right away when I came. Wasn't packed at all. People ordering on the kiosk got their food in a timely manner. Very organized and everything came out super fresh. Didn't ask for sauce, but wasn't needed for the sandwiches. If you are trans, don't come here! I went there with my friend on 5/3 at around 2:30 pm. One of the employees started talking about my friend, in Spanish. They were speculating about her gender, discussing what her genitals were to other staff within earshot of customers. Before we left the whole staff was making disparaging remarks. I and my friend are trans. We face ever increasing discrimination and bigotry in our everyday lives, and this is highly distressing. Apparently, we paid to get mocked by strangers who know nothing about us. This wouldn't happen to anyone else. This was a humiliating experience for my friend. These workers need to mind their own business and learn to be more sensitive about these issues, because they affect the mental health of vulnerable people. Asking for a refund was not worth the trouble. We will not be back. read more

They're fast! I ordered for pick up and it was ready within minutes. Very clean place too. Doesn't have the musty smell that many older restaurants have. Chicken always come out consistent. Hard to get it wrong, but some do. Recommended if you want some fried chicken. read more

I was excited that there's finally a Popeye's in my neighborhood, but unfortunately I will not be going back to this one. We waited for about 45 minutes for two ordinary chicken sandwiches! There were lots of employees there (about 7 of them), and maybe three customers including us, but the employees were all standing around gossiping and laughing and doing nothing, except for one guy in the kitchen who was the only one actually working, and even he looked like he was moving underwater. Located incongruously a few doors down from Whole Foods, this is a "mini" Popeye's for pick-up and (third party) delivery only, with no drive-through and a very small area for customers in front of the counter. They've only been in this location about three and a half weeks, and I do worry about that cramped space that can only hold around three customers safely, as well as the already-crowded parking lot. First let me tell you that Popeyes is the best fast food fried chicken in my area but the three stores are just two far away to make it "fast". I was delighted when I learned they opened a store a mile from me. The store is takeout only which is fine by me. I went there a few weeks ago and there are two large touch screens on the wall for ordering but unfortunately neither one was working. They took my order at the window. There were six people behind the window and about six people waiting for food. It took well over ten minutes to get my order and when I got home it was only so-so...very little seasoning. I went back tonight at about 9:30. I parked in front and saw both the ordering screens were still broken. I went to the window to order and was told they are not accepting orders in person, they will only accept orders electronically, website or other. So I'm standing there with a twenty dollar bill in my hand staring at two trays full of fried chicken and I can't get any. So I went up the street to the McDonalds and got even got change back for my ten. Not what I wanted to eat but at least they let me place an order. read more
