My family and I came here for dinner on a Friday evening. My husband and I are always looking for a great wing spot, but this was not it. The main issue for us was the service. Our waitress was friendly, but I think she forgot to put our food order in. It took more than 30 minutes to get our food. In fact another table sat down after us, ordered after us, then somehow got their food before us, got their check, and left before us.The waitress said they were short staffed, which I get, but there were only a few tables filled when we arrived. It also took forever to get our check to pay. In fact, she didn't even come with it until my husband left with the kids. The food was okay. The wings had good flavor, but the sauce was very greasy, almost watery. My daughter's chicken tenders had too much breading and were very hard. My son's grilled cheese was fine. Best part of the meal was the curly fries. Lastly, the prices were high for bar food. A kids meal cost more than $10 and did not include a drink. 15 wings cost $22. Oh, and they use plastic silverware, which is fine but these were super flimsy. My husband broke a fork eating the curly fries. My daughter broke a fork eating her chicken tenders. I have been going to this place since I moved to Weston in 1988. I love their wings and continue to order them. However, avoid the great looking picture of the broccoli florets. They are not actual broccoli florets as the picture indicates. They are some sort of thing that isn't at all like the picture!!! It is some sort of a funky shaped breaded and fried thing with cheese in it and maybe some broccoli. Also, I ordered while bed ridden at lunch and my onion rings were burned and over cooked and dried out and my fries were terrible. Almost like they were refried at lunch time. I was completely disappointed. In the past, I could order the container of melted cheese. It was sufficient for the steak fries for dipping. The little, tiny container is no longer sufficient for the amount of fries. Asking for extra melted cheese gets you another tiny container. This place has gone down hill over the years. read more

The fresh cut fries were awesome and the family shared the order and liked the blue cheese with the wings. Unfortunately, the boneless and regular wings were on the small side. Prices were steep for what you get, soft drinks were $4.11 each and a medium side of blue cheese and celery was $5.20. While they do have a kids menu the price was $10.35+ and didn't include a drink. When I brought this to the attention of my server, Camilla Y., her only response was, "It's well done." She didn't acknowledge the issue, and I won't even get into the temperature or quality of the curly fries. I ended up returning the sandwich and asked for it to be removed from the bill. Camilla didn't apologize, didn't offer to remake it, and made no effort to correct the situation. The final bill also included a 20% gratuity automatically added--what happened to giving customers the choice to decide the tip based on their experience? We ordered 20 wings and fries and after about 30 minutes & not receiving anything we decided to leave. When we go up to pay for our drinks all of a sudden something was wrong with the printer and the kitchen didn't get our order but there was a family (white) that came in way later than us and received a large order of wings and appetizers. Met a few friends after work who wanted stop grab some of the Key West wings. We stopped by and surprisingly the place was not that busy. We were able to sit immediately and placed our order. We ordered 50 wings...25 lemon pepper and 25 Key West. We were a little disappointed with the lemon pepper wings because all the lemon pepper seasoning was on the top, but as you worked your way down the rest of the wings had no seasoning and were just oily. The Key West wings like always were on point. I love the flavor of Carolina gold BBQ sauce and these are covered in them. It is located in a shopping plaza with parking right in front. We called in and placed an order. The staff was quick and got everything right. We ordered for delivery and when we got it everything smelled so good. I went for the key west wings with ranch and sweet potato fries. The key west sauce is SO GOOD. It's the perfect mix of spicy tangy and a little sweet I love to pair it with ranch and blue cheese. The sweet potato fries come with marshmallow fluff as a little sweet treat. The reason that I am giving it 3 stars is because when we ordered some of my team got their wings with garlic and there was a mountain of garlic on it. It's a family centered sports bar, so while you can catch a game, don't expect it to be like your local watering hole. It's more of a place that you take the family to and glance at the game a few times. There are plenty of TV's around the restaurant and a bar area that sits about 8. All your typical selection of beers on tap that are always served in a chilled glass and always tastes fresh. Food wise everything is fresh, made to order, and consistent regardless of when you come here. My go to is their French Dip with steak fries. At my most addicted, I would come here for lunch two to three times a week. Of note, they cut all their own fries it's daily, and cook them last right before your food comes out. Service is always on point. I have seen this place get flooded with the entire local high school football team, and food is still coming out of the kitchen within 15-20 minutes. I believe they were previously smaller but they were a great size full of meat. The key west wings are our FAVORITE! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. In these times of covid, I did notice they were taking some precautions. All the plates and cups were disposable. Additionally, the staff was wearing masks. For those who did not have wings...1 had the fish and chips. For 1, it was served in a miniature fry basket. A little kitch for my taste..it just makes ur harder to eat. Our friend hated the fish. Another friend had a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were delicious. My husband had a Cuban sandwich. He thought it was okay...not sure why he ordered a Cuban at a wing place, but he did mention it had a nice amount of pickles. One of the kids had a hot dog...her meal came with chips and a cookie. The hot dog looked good. So, what did I eat? I was in no mood for lettuce, so I saw they had steamed veggies on the menu. I could get a mix or just 1 of the 3. I opted for the broccoli only. I've eaten at Wings in Weston for what seems like 20 yrs and at least two owners. Prices have steady increased to the point that it's literally cheaper to eat steak dinner at a really nice restaurant. I had no idea what wings were so costly. Once upon a time, they were literally a giveaway or 10 cents each when you ordered beer. What's worse is that they nickle and dime you for every change. All drums, add a few dollars. Grilled, add a few dollars. 1 extra sauce, add a few dollars. This is a neighborhood dive bar, but it costs more to eat here than virtually any of the gourmet restaurants nearby. The wings are just ok. The sauces are just ok. The fries are just ok. The cheesecakes are just ok. The salads are just ok. Nothing is amazing. Not the food, not the prices, not the service, not the bathrooms. It's all just ok. Now what's really annoying is that place is run by the owners kids. I've seen them working their way through high school, etc. There's no adult ever seen working there. And the other night, I observed the owners son sit at a table next to his friends while on the clock... and vape at the next table. I have no plans to report the restaurant but would like them to be aware that per the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act that their actions were illegal and worthy of being reported to the Department of Health. I've got no idea what sort of toxins are in vape, and the law protects me and my family from being exposed to vape while inside a business other than standalone bar. The Florida Clean Indoor Air Act (FCIAA) was enacted in 1985 by the Florida Legislature. The purpose of this part is to protect people from the health hazards of secondhand tobacco smoke and vapor and to implement the Florida health initiative in s. 20, Art. X of the State Constitution. I don't know. Our server was very good. She was friendly, polite, had good sense of humor, and just did a good job. As for the food. The chicken wings were good. The size of the wings could had been a bit larger but they were cooked perfect. I got them with extra hot sauce, it wasn't overly hot, but had just the right amount of heat. We got onion rings, they seemed to be very greasy and did not stay hot very long. The fries were very good. The side of broccoli was cooked perfect. The fish from the fish and chips, the fish was terrible. It would have been better if it was used for a hockey puck. The Cuban sandwich was not bad for a Cuban sandwich made in a wings place. Came here a while back but I remember the experience vividly. Great service for a pick-up order(which isn't hard to attain). However the wings... ehhhh... just not that special. The sauce wasn't anything to write home about. I doubt I'll be back, but if I do come back they need to step up their game. The days of fried wings as the only choice is old. The emerging spots have fully grilled wings, and even a smoked wings option too. New flavors are and seasonal flavors pop up all the time and there's so many places that do wings that I think to be in the top tier you want to have the big fat juicy wings, grill them, fry them, smoke them, and try different combination of flavors encompassing tastes from all continents.
