Did ordered on door dash. Got the wrong order but ok. Everything was cold. Not just room temperature but actually cold. The tenders we got (we ordered bone in chicken ) were white. The color after cooking maybe beige but not appealing. The bone in chicken that came all dark meat was the spicy. We did not order that. The biscuits could have been used as a weapon. Hard and awful. In the last 6 months or more this place has been absolutely horrible. It never has spicy chicken available. The employees are extremely rude, including the manager. The chicken each time was completely undercooked, not to mention the order completely wrong. Our family and friends say the same thing about this Popeyes and the other one on Big Timber. This location is trash ... I got a chicken sandwich and 2 can dine meal. They had a whole line up of sauces on the counter I grab a few the lady yells at me saying we charge for sauces. So I just paid $20 for food and you can't throw in some sauces???? The owner/ GM for this location should be slapped for acting like such a cheap ass. I've been to Popeyes on the west side of Chicago with bullet proof glass and they are more than happy to hand over a few sauces and not be so cheap about it. I visited the Popeyes in Elgin Il on at 807 south Randall Rd, to say the service was bad would be an understatement. I was called out of my name by both the manager on duty and the person waiting on me. I ordered food and of course the order was not correct. The chicken was loaded with grease. I returned it thru the drive thru and the exchange was horrible. I recorded the incident, to send to corporate and share with the world. This location WAS a welcomed addition at first but based on the complaints and word of mouth this store should be closed. Service is awful and the food is hit or miss. read more

Ordered online and drove to pick up. Doors were locked and we had to wait a half hour in drive through to pick up. They gave us my order and I drove away. We ordered 36 nuggets and they just wrote on receipt no sauce. They also forgot my spicy chicken sandwich that now I would have to drive 12 minutes to store and wait in line again to get. I ordered 8 pieces 4 dark piece spicy and 4 dark piece regular. They pack it all together in one box so it all tastes spicy!! All the chicken was dry. The white meat was stringy and dry. The company either changed chicken suppliers or they are cooking too long. The legs were so small. I've been going to Popeyes for a long time (the one on Big Timber and Hanover).... The new one on Randall in Elgin is horrible. This is the second time this happen. I'm done with this restaurant. read more

Little disappointed, (I ordered through ubereats) I ordered a chicken combo, cajun fries with sweet heat sauce, and an additional side. They forgot my cajun fries and I didn't get the right sauce. Looks like the last time I need to go to Popeyes. Went through drive up - menu is very confusing. I ordered 4 wings, and an order of hush puppies.. the bill -$15.99 .. I questioned the amount at the window and was told yes- cause I was gonna get 2 biscuits.. when I looked a receipt it said 4wing classic dinner ... I did not order a dinner .. ( $9) I just wanted 4 single wings .. if I had ordered the dinner, looked like I should have had rice and beans .. but that wasn't in order, nor were there 2 biscuits, just 1 which I didn't care about anyways and it was so much smaller than it used to be. .. I didn't go back as the window clerk was adamant it was 4 pieces ( only) .. 4 pieces of the tiniest wings you could imagine. .. and unbeknownst to me, the hush puppies, were breaded shrimp ..but I didn't realize that's what it was .. what a disappointment .. this used to be my favorite chicken - but understanding the world scene, I just won't waste my money on inferior food. read more

I was overcharged the first time I went there. There is never a manager available. The second time I went inside because there were 4 cars in the drive through and nobody inside. The young man at the register took a look at me and walked away. I waited 5 minutes for service and then left. Apparently the staff here needs more training in customer service and to familiarize themselves with pricing. I won't return to this Popeyes. read more

They deleted my review off google, so I guess Ill post it here. Went in the other day to get food, stood at the register for 10 minutes before anybody took my order, waited another 30 minutes for my food to be ready, got home and it was completely wrong. I ordered a 2 piece all white mild, and shrimp with tenders. Got a 2 piece leg and thigh, and 2 tenders with no shrimp. This is the fourth time in a row my order hasn't been correct. I think its time to call it quits for me. Will be taking my business to the Chick-fil-A down the road. read more
